A Glimpse From the Past

There was this man
I watched with interest
With him was his young apprentice
His steed - a Raptor Ford Pickup
A serious man, a serious truck
A muscular body
And swarthy stride
He was walking away from me
When he returned
I saw what before I could not see
All he needed was the suit:
The sword
The helmet
The chainmail
Boots
He begrudgingly acknowledged me
With a look that only he
Could give with no much as an afterthought
His hair was thick and very black
All he needed was the knot
I took him all in
And was mesmerized
By the Samurai Warrior

Group Meditation for World Peace

The Awakening

I see something happening.  There is an awakening of some sort.  People are shedding the "Christmas as usual" where we spend ourselves into oblivion, running from one store to the next, buying trinkets, gidgets and gadgets, piling up huge credit card bills and emptying our bank accounts.

Toy manufacturers with their very latest for the little ones, Air Jordans that people will kill for, and others have had us trapped, brainwashed into thinking that emptying our wallets to satisfy some momentary want is what Christmas is all about.  Not so.

What are the reasons behind this?  There are probably many.  But I'd like to think that we, somehow, at this precise moment in time, have been given the opportunity to reassess, take a hard look at what really matters in our lives, what is really important and we're fiinding out that it isn't some type of plastic appliance or a video game.

Split Myself in Two

Split myself in two

One half''s a laugh

Finish the Mission

I want to go back from where first I came
But where the hell is it? --it won’t be the same
I’m still trudging on,
Feeling alone and forlorn
Getting madder and madder
Just like the Mad Hatter
My friend tells me please, to
“Stop all the chatter”
But I feel that I won’t
I must sense of this make
Like the bow on a ship
I am leaving a wake
Moving steadily forward
Through endless sea
With no getting off
But lots of places to pee
If I knew why
If I knew that
I think I’d feel better
Knowing right where I'm at
But I am left wondering
From dusk until dawn
Why the heck I am here
And the card I have drawn

Anyone Care?

Opening Doors

Good morning Said the women as she walked up to the man sitting on ground.

The man slowly looked up.
This was a woman clearly accustomed to the finer things of life. Her coat was new.. She looked like she had never missed a meal in her life.
His first thought was that she wanted to make fun of him, like so many others had done before.. "Leave me alone," he growled....
To his amazement, the woman continued standing.
She was smiling -- her even white teeth displayed in dazzling rows.
"Are you hungry?" she asked.
"No," he answered sarcastically. "I've just come from dining with the president. Now go away."
The woman's smile became even broader. Suddenly the man felt a gentle hand under his arm.
"What are you doing, lady?" the man asked angrily. "I said to leave me alone.
Just then a policeman came up. "Is there any problem, ma'am?" he asked..
"No problem here, officer," the woman answered. "I'm just trying to get this man to his feet. Will you help me?"
The officer scratched his head. "That's old Jack. He's been a fixture around here for a couple of years. What do you want with him?"
"See that cafeteria over there?" she asked. "I'm going to get him something to eat and get him out of the cold for awhile."
"Are you crazy, lady?" the homeless man resisted. "I don't want to go in there!" Then he felt strong hands grab his other arm and lift him up. "Let me go, officer. I didn't do anything."
"This is a good deal for you, Jack" the officer answered. "Don't blow it.."
Finally, and with some difficulty, the woman and the police officer got Jack into the cafeteria and sat him at a table in a remote corner. It was the middle of the morning, so most of the breakfast crowd had already left and the lunch bunch had not yet arrived...
The manager strode across the cafeteria and stood by his table. "What's going on here, officer?" he asked. "What is all this, is this man in trouble?"
"This lady brought this man in here to be fed," the policeman answered.
"Not in here!" the manager replied angrily. "Having a person like that here is bad for business.."
Old Jack smiled a toothless grin. "See, lady. I told you so. Now if you'll let me go. I didn't want to come here in the first place."
The woman turned to the cafeteria manager and smiled....... "Sir, are you familiar with Eddy and Associates, the banking firm down the street?"
"Of course I am," the manager answered impatiently. "They hold their weekly meetings in one of my banquet rooms."
"And do you make a godly amount of money providing food at these weekly meetings?"
"What business is that of yours?"
I, sir, am Penelope Eddy, president and CEO of the company."
"Oh."
The woman smiled again. "I thought that might make a difference." She glanced at the cop who was busy stifling a giggle. "Would you like to join us in a cup of coffee and a meal, officer?"
"No thanks, ma'am," the officer replied. "I'm on duty."
"Then, perhaps, a cup of coffee to go?"
"Yes, ma'am. That would be very nice."
The cafeteria manager turned on his heel, "I'll get your coffee for you right away, officer."
The officer watched him walk away. "You certainly put him in his place," he said.
"That was not my intent. Believe it or not, I have a reason for all this."
She sat down at the table across from her amazed dinner guest. She stared at him intently.. "Jack, do you remember me?"
Old Jack searched her face with his old, rheumy eyes. "I think so -- I mean you do look familiar."
"I'm a little older perhaps," she said. "Maybe I've even filled out more than in my younger days when you worked here, and I came through that very door, cold and hungry."
"Ma'am?" the officer said questioningly. He couldn't believe that such a magnificently turned out woman could ever have been hungry.
"I was just out of college," the woman began. "I had come to the city looking for a job, but I couldn't find anything. Finally I was down to my last few cents and had been kicked out of my apartment. I walked the streets for days. It was February and I was cold and nearly starving.. I saw this place and walked in on the off chance that I could get something to eat."
Jack lit up with a smile.. "Now I remember," he said.. "I was behind the serving counter. You came up and asked me if you could work for something to eat. I said that it was against company policy."
"I know," the woman continued. "Then you made me the biggest roast beef sandwich that I had ever seen, gave me a cup of coffee, and told me to go over to a corner table and enjoy it. I was afraid that you would get into trouble.... Then, when I looked over and saw you put the price of my food in the cash register, I knew then that everything would be all right."
"So you started your own business?" Old Jack said.
"I got a job that very afternoon. I worked my way up. Eventually I started my own business that, with the help of God, prospered." She opened her purse and pulled out a business card.. "When you are finished here, I want you to pay a visit to a Mr. Lyons...He's the personnel director of my company. I'll go talk to him now and I'm certain he'll find something for you to do around the office." She smiled. "I think he might even find the funds to give you a little advance so that you can buy some clothes and get a place to live until you get on your feet... If you ever need anything, my door is always opened to you."
There were tears in the old man's eyes. "How can I ever thank you?" he said.
"Don't thank me," the woman answered. "To God goes the glory. Thank Jesus....... He led me to you."
Outside the cafeteria, the officer and the woman paused at the entrance before going their separate ways....
"Thank you for all your help, officer," she said.
"On the contrary, Ms. Eddy," he answered. "Thank you. I saw a miracle today, something that I will never forget. And.. And thank you for the coffee."
God is going to shift things around for you today and let things work in your favor.
God closes doors no man can open & God opens doors no man can close..
Have a blessed day and remember to be a blessing...

Let's See How Good You Are At Drawing

LIVE FROM TOKYO, JAPAN - Virtual Performers

Looking Inside the Box

There is this little old lady puttering in her kitchen; she is busy tending to porridge on the stove, the steam wafting up and clouding her glasses, but she pays no mind and keeps stirring.  Her hair is steel gray and neatly piled on top of her head.  The red checkered table cloth is faded and a dried up rose stem is sitting crooked in a small vase in the middle of the table, most of its petals lying nearby.  Soft humming can be heard as she goes about her business.  The lacy kitchen curtains frame a small window that looks out upon a large yard.  Her garden is covered in weeds as the old antique Apple Tree silently keeps watch, its limbs reaching out to embrace everyone and everything that seeks its shelter.

A picture of her late husband hangs on the wall and letters from grandchildren, great grandchildren.  This kitchen is a warm and cozy place.

We peer through the pin hole in the box and watch, in awe, this old lady going about her business.  She doesn't even know we're there.  She doesn't know we can see her.  She doesn't know she's being spied upon.

She acts as if she has no care in the world.  She is content, existing within this small little universe that is her world.

So it is with everything.  Small little universes existing within each other, then bigger universes existing within  larger universes and forth and so on.....

I went out this morning to tend to the morning's chores.  As I walked along the way I spotted some fallen leaves with drops of dew.  I bent down to examine more closely.  "How beautiful," I thought as I examined their exquisitely fragile and mottled structure, their once vibrant lifeblood of veins running throughout, and the precise spots where the dew had formed.

I didn't pick them up as they fell where they were meant to fall and disturbing them would disturb a lovely pattern, a lovely framework that I can sense... "that all is as it should be".

I looked up into an overcast sky and was momentarily spirited away as I savored the moment and bathed in the exhilaration of being able to view this lovely work of art--something so simple yet so grand as a spent leaf with drops of water on it.

Ah, but that's precisely the point.

For a brief moment, I was granted entrance into another universe...a lovely vista beyond anything I  could perceive or know...a single, brief moment in time where all else faded away, as I was transfixed, entranced, by an art of flawless love-making more intense, more sensitive, more passionate, more demonstrative, and more creative than any mortal man could possibly fathom.

We take so much for granted, here.

If we could but slow down just a little and listen, we would be able to hear the many sounds of the universe conversing with us.

It is the chirping of a cricket, the luminescent rising of the full moon, a mother tenderly suckling a babe, the sound of waves rolling onto shore, that still small voice that enters your being and says...."everything is going to be okay."

Today there is so much disorder, chaos and confusion.  Everyone is running around in a panic.

It's either "the sky is falling or is about to."

But if we look inside again, within that little box, we are transcended, transformed as our being is spirited away to another time, another place, where all is in harmonious, all is in order.

The mind is such an extraordinary thing.  It is capable of healing, hurting, nurturing, destroying but it is also capable of oh, so much more...

We have not been given the key to unlocking its secrets...yet, as we are not ready for the depth of responsibility that will be required of us nor the infinite mind-bending exponentiation that will follow.

In the meantime, we must all be patient and continue our daily grind, no matter what it is, with the knowledge that we are indeed on the brink of something--a cusp of some sort, a turning point, a tipping point....maybe that long-awaited grand event in which mankind's incessant march toward self-destruction will finally come to an end.

And don't forget to peer through that pinhole every once in a while as a reminder that while things around you may not be going exactly the way you think they should, somewhere else, they are.

Just a Bunch of Idiots

Please take care of yourselves..... A recent study conducted by the Department of Health and the Department of Motor Vehicles indicates that 23% of traffic accidents are alcohol related. This means that the remaining 77% are caused by idiots who drink bottled water, Starbucks, soda, juice, energy drinks, and crap like that. Therefore, beware of those who do not drink alcohol, they cause 3 times as many accidents.

Obamageddon

"Socialism is a philosophy of failure,
the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy,
its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.."
-- Winston Churchill

These are possibly the 5 best sentences you'll ever read: Unfortunately, most voters don't know this.

1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them; and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work, because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that is the beginning of the end of any nation.

soule:  it appears that we are well on our way to the dismantling of this country's fabric.

Just look at the past 2-1/2 years.  This process has accelerated under this admenstruation.

And all we see on t.v. is grins and glee.

Don't nobody worry, there ain't no problem, we ain't on the brink of no insolvency.  We be just fine.  Now all you good little sheep just continue a-grazin and a-goin about yer business like nothin's wrong, cause nothin is.

If you believe that, I'll send you a picture of an alien 'show and tell'.

And, how is it that we allowed the formation of a so-called "Super Committee" to go forward, which, in reality, throws the Constitution under the bus, by usurping its authority in that an elected Congress, not a Super Committee of twelve individuals, who used our financial crisis as an excuse to consolidate power  and a President casting "the deciding vote",  were the ones elected to do the work of the people?

We have created another layer of bureaucratic bullshit.  And the way they be set up, you might as well rename them the Politboro.

Now it appears that they can't get their acts together either.  You could see this one a-comin, too.

The fabric of any country is fragile.  What holds it together (the glue) is the framework (government) and a network of people, organizations both public and private, that work together, harmoniously.

But when dire extremes are allowed to take hold, that infiltrate the process of decison-making and governing such as:  die-hard partisanship, special interests, corruption and greed, they can take precedence over solving problems, to such an extent that these extremes are now the determining factor in how one votes.

OMG, Alice, "It appears that we are well on our way down the rabbit hole"!
No one is telling the American people the truth.  But if you understand:
(1) this country is out of money (WE ARE BANKRUPT);
(2) we are no longer a soverign nation as the amount of debt we now owe is so enormous that there is no way in hell we are ever going to be able to pay it back (thus placing us in a position of weakness (was it deliberately or by accident--you decide) and our dear friend and confidant, China, is now the place holder;
(3) China is not a friend but a sly and clever antagonist, who is taking advantage of our pitiful state, positioning herself handsomely, all the while playing us like a fine Stradavarius Violin;
(4) Congress is decisively more interested in protectin its assets/asses than ours.
(5) We are still giving enormous sums of money to foreign nations, even though we have none left for ourselves.

It is clear to me that government doesn't care one whit about our financial status only in making it worse nor are they the least bit interested in the lives of the very people they were sworn to protect.  Only in those special interests groups and individuals that will enable them to hang onto another four years in office.

In view of all of the above, don't you believe it is time to take stock of where you are, presently?

First...take the blinders off.

Take a good hard look at your present situation:  your savings, 401K, how much of a mortgage you have left to pay on, your credit card debt and other issues.

Then, in the interest of protecing what's really important, take stock.  Take the measures necessary to protect your family, what is rightfully yours, and what you worked damned hard for.

Did You Know:
Because Congress, (Barney Frank and Chris Dodd in particular) pressuring (threatening) banks to lend to people that:
(1) didn't have the necessary resources to pay for a home;
(2) didn't do background checks to ensure they could pay back the money they were lent;   is questionable if many of them even knew the implications of what was contained in the documentation they signed;
(3) pandered to those they knew couldn't pay their loans back because they were of a certain group and/or were poor and/or disadvantaged.  Now the foreclosure rate has fallen off the cliff;
Banks are not lending money anymore or very little, because they don't want to lose their investments again; And, i am quite sure that if one investigated, one would find that Both Frank and Dodd profitted handsomely from this huge scandal.

Not only that, an interesting statistic just came to light:  Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac are now the BIGGEST mortgage holders in the United States.

How interesting.  How convenient.  The government now OWNS most of the mortgages in this country.    (better read the fine print on yours.)

Note:  I am not against anyone who falls under the government category of "poor and disenfranchised" and believe they should be afforded the same opportunities, like the rest of us, just to clear up any misconceptions.  But safeguards should have been in place, to prevent this meltdown from happening.

And, clearly, they were not.  I also feel that many of these people (my opinion only) were openly, knowingly taken advantage of just to "sign" em up.

Now look at the mess our government has created not just for them but for all of us, not to mention the frustration, angst and despair that has been heaped on many of these people.

And did this blatantly avoidable financial housing meltdown have a beneficial impact on this country's dismal economic status?  I dare say, NOT.

No house, no job.  No roof over your head and no money to pay your bills.  Maybe, a short ride on unemployment.

Government is not the solution it is the problem.  It don't create solutions, it creates problems which turn into crises and then races to solve the crises, claiming that they know what they are doing but only making things  worse.

How I would love to see Barney Frank and Chris Dodd's shameful, sorry asses bein thrown out onto the street, with all their worldly possessions, like many of these people had to go through.

They still got their job.  They still got a roof over their head.  Can anyone spell S-L-I-M-E-B-A-G?

Americans, wake up and smell the coffee.  It's goin up in price BTW.  And, while you're sippin away, take a look at your bank statement.  It's our asses on the line, not theirs.  Stop voting these politicians back into office so they can keep screwin us.

What we have today is OUT OF CONTROL GOVERNMENT--all too powerful government, with razor sharp talons outstretched, hovering fervently, malevolently, drooling all over a bunch of down and out individuals and entities which happens to include just about everyone.  Growing more hungry and more powerful, each day.

Whatever label the government assigns to you...rich, poor or middle class, it makes no difference anymore as we are all squarely positioned in their crosshairs.

Jenny McCarthy on Healing Her Son’s Autism and Discovering Her Life’s Mission - PR.com

Alphabet Soup

Instead of "occupyin" Wall Street
political feudin and fightin
pointin fingers
shovin people around
groups and individuals encouraging trouble and mayhem
and just plain actin stupid...we might consider focusing on something that could possibly be comin our way from outer space.

The sun is in an eleven year solar max cycle and could, at any time, throw a big one our way.  We could be hit by a huge stream of plasma particles that may well wipe out our communications systems and have other catastrophic effects.  To say this would be a disruption to everyone's life, is putting it mildly.

Haven't we had several wake up calls recently (in my opinion that's what they are--to get our collective asses together?)

Like a sharp tap on the shoulder:
Chilean Earthquake;
Japanese Earthquake (March 2011);
a record 283 tornadoes across the country in one day - (April 2011);
massive flooding
severe droughts
an unusual East Coast earthquake - (October 2011);
a string of Oklahoma earthquakes ranging from a 5.7 to 2.7 - (November 2011) and scientists can't figure out the reason(s) why.  Hmmmm

Isn't it time we all stop acting like idiots, calm down and realize there are much bigger things to worry about?

Things we can't plot, can't predict, can't mark on a calendar (until, of course they happen) and only if we have any calendars left.

There are things in life we have no control over.  When are we going to realize this absolute?

Or will we, in righteous indignation, continue to stubbornly bob up and down in our bowl of alphabet soup, choosing instead to continue down our path of self-destruction, oblivious to and caring less about an event that could very well put an end to all of us?

Crazy World

It's getting more difficult to open up the Drudge Report anymore, readin all the crap a-goin on.

The Sun Keeps Its Eye on Us During the Day and the Moon at Night

How is one even able to perceive, imagine, the thought, the realization, the wonder, the utter mystery and magnificence of our state of  being?

We wake up and get up.  We put on our clothes.  We comb our hair and brush our teeth.  We smell the coffee wafting from the kitchen.  We say "good morning".  We turn on the news.  We hug our kids.  Then it's off to work or school.

This is an everyday occurrence.  It is called existence.  It is a state of being.

Realistically, sadly, I am very much aware that this is not occurring in other parts of the world.

Nor is it occurring in many homes here.

Have you ever been so hurried, so worried, that there is no room inside you for hope anymore, for some type of relief, for some type of rescue?  That you've pretty much given up on everything, everyone, yourself included?

You are throwing things around, and very angry...you are now filled with a what's the sense of it all type of resignation, and then out of the blue a feeling hits you, penetrates your mental state, and you experience an immediate and soothing awareness, a realization that everything is going to be okay?

We have many unseen guides who surround us.  Who are here to help us, want to help us, if only we will give them permission to do so.

Many of you will laugh at this.  "How do you know?" Because I've seen them and spoken with them or rather, it's been the other way around.

No, I'm not some sort of wizard, guru...just a person who meditates, listens for answers and continually prays for the world and its planetary inhabitants (all of them).

Contrary to popular belief, we are not here to be traumatized by events and people yet we all fall prey and experience these things.

Not one of us leaves this life unscathed, in some way(s).

This is the great lie...that we all must endure these things.  This is the way of ignorance and deception.

We are here to find a new depth of understanding and deepen our awareness of who we are and where we fit into the Grand Design of the Universe for we certainly do fit in somewhere.

To find our spiritual footing, identify and root out the rot and trample down the thorn bushes so a velvety carpet of green grass can grow.  It's the "getting there" part that is diffult.

We are angels and demons.  We are good and evil.

It doesn't matter that we're here but what we do with the life we've been given, while here.

We have choices.

We can try and "make a difference" or, "it doesn't make any difference to me".

We can fight the good fight or refuse to become engaged, crumple up and fade away.

Life is a constant struggle, a constant battle between two opposing forces.

We are continually being shoved and pulled, swayed and tugged between doing something good or doing something harmful or evil.

I believe in Kharma..."What goes around comes around."

I believe in Reincarnation.  How can you not believe in Kharma without believing in the other?

I believe that Man is inherently Good, not Evil.  But evil inclination(s) often get the best of him.

I believe that there are, presently walking among us, (and for thousands of years) humans of the most evil sort who are bent on and most desirous of inflicting pain and suffering on their fellow human beings.

And these people (demons if you will) are hellbent on continuing their spiritual warfare and mayhem on us until the elevated vibrations from the Ancient Ones, and the Illuminairies, who exist among us today, become so strong that they overcome the cruel, foul and incessant shrill shrieks of the Black Noise.

This battle between good and evil will continue until a new awareness of Peace and Harmony takes hold on ths Planet...as the collective mind begins to vibrate more powerfully and begins to operate on the same frequency, as our hearts and minds become one.

White House: There's no sign of E.T. or UFO cover-up

no sign, no sign, no sign

Unless, of course a group of these nettlesome little creatures decides to put an end to the government coverup crap by nobly bivouacing a fleet of their high tech flying machines right smack dab in the middle of the White House lawn.

And the rest of us watch in amusement while a fallacious gov, dazed and confused, now hysterically tries to rev itself up into full spin gear, trying to convince the rest of us that what we just witnessed was a mirage.

Maybe Obama could convince them to register to vote for him in 2012.

Or maybe the Repubs could convince them that they are the party of choice.

Or, maybe these little green men are here for the purpose of forming their own party---Think about it, a Third Party and all made up of Illegal Aliens.

Folks, it don't get much better than that.  LOL

Taking "Sexual Harrassment" To A Whole New Level

Ah, the Liberal Media....we have so much to thank them for.  They, along with another scurrilous group (politicians) get away with ambushing, lying, cheating, spewing, skewing, slanting and raising issues that are designed to deflect, railroad, stop and/or obliterate anyone they feel threatened by, anyone that doesn't fit their cozy little Liberal agenda and their definition of what it is to be a Liberal.

They don't wait for no facts...they just run with the rumour(s)...FULL STEAM AHEAD.

I feel sorry for this smug bunch.  These are delusional misfits full of fear, and frightening, when you think how easily they become unglued, existing solely for the purpose of creating confusion, doubt and fear, possibly  screwing up somebody's life and reputation, and all because they need to put a stop to someone they are paranoid about.

Afraid and unwilling to accept someone with a different set of values and views than the ones they espouse, they plunge head first into attack mode.

Then we have a morass of who said what, when and where.  Well the person may have been offended or not.  He (the accused) may have said something they (the accuser(s) misconstrued the wrong way and the person who said it didn't mean any harm.  But the other person ran with it.

Could it be that money was involved?  Hmmmm.

The Left is constantly on the lookout, searching vigilantly, watching for that little blip to turn up on their radar screen, for anyone or anything that could possibly bring their delusional, teetering, tottering wobegoten little world of Humpty Dumpty crashing down around them.

C'mon, we all know the free press in this country and their allies have too much free dumb.  They've had an agenda in place, for years, to make sure that their guy gets elected; that their agenda(s) gets pushed; that their views are shouted from the rooftop; that their laws and regulations are passed.

And it's a big deal to go after a Conservative, running for President, meteorically rising in the polls, who just happens to be a Republican and a Black one at that.

It's not that they (the Libs and American press) got no shame.  How can you possibly even know the definition of this word when you, from a tender age, were placed atop a telephone pole, perched all high and mighty, like a fierce bird of prey, a-lookin down at all the snacks and then you spy a Tea-Partier a-goin 'bout his business of just runnin for Prez.

Man, what a morsel.

And one cannot even get across to this rabid bunch that they're so bent on bringing someone down, and it don't matter one whit how they do it, that they very well may be a-spinnin themselves into a dizzying vortex which may have the opposite causal affect they were a-hopin for and that be....backfirin on them.

Am I mad at what I am seeing?  You bet I am.  These slimebags are just that...slime.  I don't mind an occasional joke or an off-handed remark about someone from say a Jon Stewart or other.  I may not like it but I'm not going to go out and intentionally hunt them down, with the full intent of destroying their  reputation, because they made a comment I did not like or felt offended by or whatever.....

We Conservatives have been subjected to this sort of abuse for years.  So what's new?

But you know what.  I am very angry and very tired that this man, whom I believe is one of the best if not the best candidate for fixin this country's problems, and is putting everything on the line, for the sake of this country, is gettin his ass handed to him by a bunch of Leftist Thugs.

The trouble is we got a social agenda in this country and it's been taken to a whole new level:  It's called Sexual harrassment.

Just what the hell is sexual harrassment?

Let's be honest.  When has someone not been sexually harrassed either intentionally or unintentionally?  Let's give an example:  I worked in an office and my boss or other co-worker comes by and says, "hey there gorgeous, you sure are looking mighty fine today."

What...I'm gonna run to the EEO and fill out paperwork accusin this person of sexually harrassing me?  Are you kidding me?  So, you say, what if it were a woman making the same comment?  I'd say, "forget it sister".   What, you're tellin me that my choice of the word "sister" is gonna get me in trouble?

Have we really come that far down the slippery slope?

And what about this part of the Sexual Harrassment Game that you may offend someone simply because of the way you accent a certain word or maybe the way you stand or the look on your face may, in some way, unbeknown to you, be offensive to the other party.

And twenty years later, you're served with some type of lawsuit or accused of some thing, vague and anonymous, no names of the accusers given, because of something you said that someone with a personal axe to grind or thin skin misconstrued or saw a flash of gold at the end of the proverbial rainbow.

I don't think so.

This is the Liberal Utopia.  We daren't do this and we daren't do that.  We can't play hopscotch without wearing a harness; we can't ride a tricycle without wearing a helmet; we can't play baseball or football 'cuz we may get hurt.  We can't say something goofy or cute or vague 'cuz the other kid may cry or run home to mommy; we can't say how nice someone looks 'cuz someone may be offended.  But they can print whatever the hell they want; accuse someone without any evidence and we're supposed to take it, sitting down.

Well, count me out.

Liberals are apparently threatened by most everything.  That's why they got to have Big Gov protectin their ass.  They apparently must see something wrong in just about everything and take it personally.

What a sorry bunch of thin skinned upstarts.

It is time, way past time, that if an individual adamantly says he did not say this or did not do that, that he is innocent of any wrongdoing (if anyone can figure out just what the hell constitutes wrong doing) that the people who are fed up with this type of donkey dung start speaking out.

And for you socialist scientists out there...quit trying to rework the Laws of Nature.  Men will be Men.

Why just look at one of your favorite role models....Bill Clinton.

You bunch of Sanctimonious, Sociopathic Hypocrites.

Life Will Find a Way

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/science/science-news/8861602/Siberians-share-DNA-with-extinct-human-species.html
---
soule:  and after the Great Flood, which purportedly destroyed many other DNA types (other races of people that no longer exist today) one can only ponder, wonder, what those ancient human beings may have looked like.

How they thought, how they behaved, how they integrated with others (if at all) or maybe their structure was more aloofness, more nomadic.

Maybe, during their time here on earth, they contributed to the advancement of humanity, in some way we haven't yet figured out.  I wonder what they looked like?  Maybe they thought differently; maybe they had a whole set of new ideas on how to solve problems; maybe they were very adept at tool and pottery making; maybe they followed celestial events very closely and worked off of star charts;  maybe they were artists; maybe they knew alot about science.  Maybe they took good care of their off-spring.  Maybe they were peace-loving.  Maybe they were vegetarians.  Maybe they had their own language (way of communicating).

We can only speculate.

The sad part is...we will never know.

I Want to Know 'Everything'

Me:  Why?
Being:  What is it you want to know?
Answer:  Everything.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I want to know why, I want to know that; I want to know dis, I want to know dat.  Why does the sun come up everyday?  What makes the rain to rain on the hay?  Why is there night why is there day?  Why is there love, why is there hate?  Why is there early why is there late? How does the brain work?  Why walk a mile?  Why does the moon look down with a smile?  The Great Wall of China; the Temple of Doom; Caracas, Antigua, and arid Khartoum;  High peaks and low valleys, mountains and lakes, tsunamis, tornadoes, great killer quakes; The Great White, Blue Devil, Evil and Good; E.T. and Sasquatch, The Boyz in the Hood; Frenchmen and English, Spanish and Asian, all with their own particular persuasion; Drunkards and sober, sweet wine and beer; Happy and sad; Hearts full of fear; Prayers and utterances; Violence and peace, Givers and takers, Friars and Fiefs; Good hearts, and Black hearts, sadness and grief.

Being:  "It is arrogant, impertinent and presumptious of you to consider these things, as you are not equipped to be 'Lord of the Rings'.

You live and you die.  That's all there is to it.

Leave all the rest to Us with Intuit.

You will find answers when end of your rope, when all are left hanging, with no glimmer of Hope.

You fight Us you mock Us, then despise and despair.

We All can see you are going Nowhere.

When Your Proper Time Cometh--from Dark into Light, You'll have Sages, Sentient Beings on hand for Insight.

Be Silent and Listen.  Learn and Apply.  All that is Here Will Soon Multiply.

A new Dawn approaches, not End of Days; but a new Understanding, as the old is betrayed.

Be of Good Heart, Be of Good Cheer.

You All are very special, Near To Us, Dear.

So Again Let Me Say, Let Me Make It Quite Clear...

Start Embrace One Another; and stop Living in Fear."

Seriously, Though....

I'm glad I made the decision to get rid of Dish T.V.

Now, I don't have nothin against Dish but when my bill kept goin up and my checkbook balance kept goin down, and I kept hearin the same ole same ole, only watch one channel out of 500, well it just made sense to disconnect.  You gotta watch yer pennies.

I didn't know it then but after they disconnected me, i figgered out that them people had had me hog-tied fer quite a while.  it wasn't until after about two months, without havin to listen to all that gall-danged background noise, that i could think clear through to the other end of a thought without gittin side-tracked.

I felt liberated!  i yelled, "i'm free, i'm free!  let someone else make this corsporation rich...it ain't gonna be me no more, no how".

Now I can finally go back to eatin my Pupiklech without anybody botherin me.

Another amazin discovery I made was I could actually make a decision all by myself ( i remember doin that some time ago...) without some durn blonde bobblehead a-slippin a bridle on me and constantly pullin my reins left or right.

The best part.....I can still add....2+2 = 2, so that means my mental neuro-a-logical wirein ain't been hurt.

Seriously though, we got too much mental/background noise we're dealin with day in, day out.  no wonder we be in so much trouble....we're completely farblongjid!

Why I Started This Blog

Being new to "Blogging," I started out not knowing a thing; what subject matter should i focus on? how do i connect with people? i had no real idea of where i wanted this forum to go.
After several years of getting my feet "wet" i now feel my main focus is (hopefully) educating, informing  people on many different issues. Alongside that, i believe the most important thing i am trying to convey is that we all have a common bond. We are here only temporarily, as caretakers of this planet, and we only want what's best for our communities, children and families. I believe in People. If given the resources, they are a wellspring of the purest spring water...full of wonderful ideas and rich beliefs, that will benefit and enrich all of us.  Woven throughout this blog are spiritual musings, occasional rants, (especially when i see what I believe to be blatant wrong-doing) poetry and a deep desire that mankind learn to live together harmoniously with our natural surroundings and with each other. Thus, my belief that, deep down, We Are All One. It is my fervent hope that someday we will all come face to face with this undeniable fact. My intent is not to embarrass, nor discriminate, make fun or harm, in any way.  i am only attempting to provide subject matter on many different topics that i feel are beneficial and helpful in making one think...hopefully allowing for different perspectives and thus bridging gaps across a great divide, empowering and offering hope and comfort. Maybe, in some way, it will encourage those who are addicted/afflicted to find the strength to make those difficult yet positive change(s) they may have been contemplating for some time.

Don't Wait Till It's Too Late

Don't wait to make that date...don't wait to take that break...don't wait to get in shape...don't wait till it's heartbreak...don't wait to light the cake...don't wait till half-past eight...don't wait to admit mistake...don't wait for sweet embrace...don't wait, for heaven sake...

learn to love and not to hate
                                                           open a door, don't lock a gate

Time seems to pass more quickly as we grow older but curiously it seems that we start slowing down, allowing us time to study things more deeply; we reflect on our lives; study the flutter of a butterfly; lovingly gaze into the eyes; follow the fanciful flight of the dragonfly; watch the swirling clouds and we're mesmerized; the stars they totally tantalize; and our dreams we lovingly fantasize...

Don't wait to act to protect a small child from harm; don't wait to visit the neighbor across the lawn; don't wait to say "i'm sorry"; build up the courage to meet some one "half-way"; go out of your way to "make someone's day"; learn to become color-blind; open the shades at half-past nine; clear the clutter from your mind; learn an act of simple kind.

for we all belong to one mankind

What Goes Around, Comes Around

To the citizens of the United States of America from Her Sovereign Majesty Queen... Elizabeth II:

In light of your immediate failure to financially manage yourselves and also in recent years your tendency to elect incompetent Presidents of the USA and therefore not able to govern yourselves, we hereby give notice of the revocation of your independence, effective immediately. (You should look up 'revocation' in the Oxford English Dictionary.)

Her Sovereign Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will resume monarchical duties over all states, commonwealths, and territories (except Kansas , which she does not fancy).

Your new Prime Minister, David Cameron, will appoint a Governor for America without the need for further elections.

Congress and the Senate will be disbanded. A questionnaire may be circulated sometime next year to determine whether any of you noticed.

To aid in the transition to a British Crown dependency, the following rules are introduced with immediate effect:

1. The letter 'U' will be reinstated in words such as 'colour,' 'favour,' 'labour' and 'neighbour.' Likewise, you will learn to spell 'doughnut' without skipping half the letters, and the suffix '-ize' will be replaced by the suffix '-ise.'Generally, you will be expected to raise your vocabulary to acceptable levels. (look up 'vocabulary').

Using the same twenty-seven words interspersed with filler noises such as ''like' and 'you know' is an unacceptable and inefficient form of communication. There is no such thing as U.S. English. We will let Microsoft know on your behalf. The Microsoft spell-checker will be adjusted to take into account the reinstated letter 'u'' and the elimination of '-ize.' '

3. July 4th will no longer be celebrated as a holiday.

4. You will learn to resolve personal issues without using guns, lawyers, or therapists. The fact that you need so many lawyers and therapists shows that you're not quite ready to be independent. Guns should only be used for shooting grouse. If you can't sort things out without suing someone or speaking to a therapist, then you're not ready to shoot grouse.

5. Therefore, you will no longer be allowed to own or carry anything more dangerous than a vegetable peeler. Although a permit will be required if you wish to carry a vegetable peeler in public.

6. All intersections will be replaced with roundabouts, and you will start driving on the left side with immediate effect. At the same time, you will go metric with immediate effect and without the benefit of conversion tables. Both roundabouts and metrication will help you understand the British sense of humour.

7. The former USA will adopt UK prices on petrol (which you have been calling gasoline) of roughly $10/US gallon. (Get used to it.)

8.You will learn to make real chips. Those things you call French fries are not real chips, and those things you insist on calling potato chips are properly called crisps. Real chips are thick cut, fried in animal fat, and dressed not with catsup but with vinegar.

9. The cold, tasteless stuff you insist on calling beer is not actually beer at all. Henceforth, only proper British Bitter will be referred to as beer, and European brews of known and accepted provenance will be referred to as Lager. New Zealand beer is also acceptable, as New Zealand is pound for pound the greatest sporting nation on earth and it can only be due to the beer. They are also part of the British Commonwealth - see what it did for them. American brands will be referred to as Near-Frozen Gnat's Urine, so that all can be sold without risk of further confusion.

10. Hollywood will be required occasionally to cast English actors as good guys. Hollywood will also be required to cast English actors to play English characters. Watching Andie Macdowell attempt English dialogue in Four Weddings and a Funeral was an experience akin to having one's ears removed with a cheese grater.

11. You will cease playing American football. There are only two kinds of proper football; one you call soccer, and rugby (dominated by the New Zealanders). Those of you brave enough will, in time, be allowed to play rugby (which has some similarities to American football, but does not involve stopping for a rest every twenty seconds or wearing full kevlar body armour like a bunch of nancies).

12. Further, you will stop playing baseball. It is not reasonable to host an event called the World Series for a game which is not played outside of America . Since only 2.1% of you are aware there is a world beyond your borders, your error is understandable. You will learn cricket, and we will let you face the Australians (World dominators) first to take the sting out of their deliveries.

13. An internal revenue agent (i.e. tax collector) from Her Majesty's Government will be with you shortly to ensure the acquisition of all monies due (backdated to 1776).

14. Daily Tea Time begins promptly at 4 p.m. with proper cups, with saucers, and never mugs, with high quality biscuits (cookies) and cakes; plus strawberries (with cream) when in season.

God Save the Queen!

soule:  I was just thinking about this concept the other day.  Isn't it time we re-think how we live?  Isn't it  time to stop the insanity of rushing here, rushing there?  Isn't it time to reconsider just who and what is really important in our lives?  Isn't it time to consider that we all belong to one big global community?  That your child's well-being is as important as mine?  That what you eat is as important as what I eat?  That we all need warmth and nurturing?  We all need hope and encouragement?

We all have a right to thrive.  We all need a reason to live.  If we cannot thrive, we cannot live.  The two go hand-in-hand.

Global communities, created for the express purpose of empowering man, not enslaving him.  Clean air, clean water, plenty of room to grow both physically and spiritually; good soil to grow fresh fruits and veggies; good grass to raise livestock and poultry.

Sound old-fashioned?  Sound hippy-ish?  Sound too unconventional?

Do you see any government promoting freedom from want, health and happiness for its citizens?  I'd say we're witnessing just the opposite.  The programs the government comes up with sound good but when you get to the fine print, you find you've been had.

Instead, we see governments corralling and controlling.  Squandering OUR money like it's going out of style...well it is.  How long do you think it will be before the dollar is no longer the reserve currency of the world?  Think about it.  Government throttling all classes of people.  Gagging them, handing them a heavy dose of disrespect for just about everything, and drowning them in a bureaucratic nightmare of pyrrhic costs, regulations and paperwork.

We might consider this 'utopian' concept.  It may have much to offer and be the start of something really big.

It's time for real, substantive, healthy change, not just hollow words.  It's time to put into action doable projects that will benefit everyone and make this world a better place for all.

This concept could even catch on and sweep across the planet at such breakneck speed, that it could leave us all with that once in a lifetime good, good feeling that something really transcendent had taken place.

(I just hope Al Gore doesn't get wind of it--because if he does...there definitely goes the neighborhood...)

Take a Stand for 'Something'

Define the Human Race:
An uncategorized collection of library books, on all types of subject matter.
All have been checked out, but none have been returned.
Some are strewn haphazardly on heavy, old, cumbersome, long wooden tables that sit silently in rooms with tall ceilings.  Heavy dark purple brocade valances frame dusty paned windows.
Some are piled high on floors and others teeter one on top of the other in darkened corners.
Some are missing;
Some are lost forever;
Some are torn and tattered;
Some are worn;
Some are shredded;
Some are faded;
Some are smudged;
Some are dog eared;
Some are missing covers and pages;
Some are hopelessly smeared;
Some are severely stained;

The time-worn Librarian is desperately trying to identify them all and sort them in their rightful places.    She is this tiny, little old lady, all bent over, frizzled gray hair piled into a bun on the top of her head.  Her glasses keep sliding down her nose.  They are wide brimmed and the blackest of black.  When she doesn't have her head buried in a book, she'll look up and examine you from head to toe.  Her face is a soft blur but her eyes are penetrating.  Your little world stops when she is focused on you.  Her fingers, even though badly gnarled from arthritis are very adept at picking up a fragile piece and laying it down, gently.

Every so often a title catches her eye and she finds herself letting go, immersed in a story of long, long ago.

She remembers when she was just a little girl and how different the world seems now.  Why just the other day, she was reading about children starving in North Korea.  The reason given was that the farmers couldn't plant their crops because of torrential flooding.  Therefore there would be a shortage of grain to feed the people.  She looked at the pictures of very young orphans whose limbs looked like tooth picks and others who were suffering from sores and worse.   She noticed that none of the children were smiling.  "How can you smile when you are slowly starving to death", she thought.  "And, there must not be many smiles at all in North Korea where a madman is in control".

She wondered, "from whence does their help come"?  She strained to hear an answer but all she could hear was silence.

She continued..."On the other side of the world we have Africans who continue to suffer horribly at the hands of monsters in the Sudan and elsewhere, hacking off limbs, machine gunning any and all who get in their way, and coping with plagues and drought."

She wondered, "from whence does their help come"?  Again - silence.

We have certain groups bent on killing, maiming and torturing men women and children in a  neighbouring country all because they don't believe this small country has the right to exist.

She wondered, "from whence does their help come"?  Again - silence.

We have other groups who are solely focused on annihilating any and all those who dare believe in something other than Islam.

She wondered, "from whence does their help come"?  Again - silence.

We have organizations who believe that taking innocent life is justified because of a mother's right to choose.  She quietly asked herself, "and what about the unborn's right to choose"?

She wondered, "from whence does their help come"?  Again - silence.

Slowly she turned and continued to gather up the many books that surrounded her.  She handled them with such reverence and care as they had become her best friends.  And she had learned much from them.

She was, what we call, a Senior Citizen, a Seasoned Citizen, one who was nearing her time.  Oh she could still remember those quiet walks in the park, shimmery, summer days and long cold winters.  Then there were those dark days known as World War I and World War II.  She remembered her father and uncle's retelling of the horrors they encountered as millions gathered at the gates of hell, had their tickets punched and were whisked through to the other side.  Her mind skipped back to sips of wine and Valentines.  A trip to France, her love of dance.  Upon reflection, she had lived a full life, complete with its ups and downs.  Sometimes more down then up.  What is life without those things?  And in the end, she knew she would do it all over again.  From her many experiences she had so much to offer to the younger generation.
----
soule:  It is a tragedy that we do not turn to the old for guidance.  Their eyes twinkle when we touch upon a subject that is dear to their hearts.  They may stutter and have difficulty trying to remember, but if we sit quietly and listen patiently, we will hear some wonderful stories.  The old are storehouses of wisdom, fond rememberances and loving memories.

We instead turn them out, like chattel.  We discard them from our homes into nursing homes and/or other institutions and out of our lives as we just can't be bothered to give back to them the time they so richly gave to us.

We lie and blurt out that we just don't have the time.  Isn't it a simple act of loving kindness to find the time?  What a human tragedy.

The world is in desperate need of Enlightenment...Visionaries...Wise Beings--Teachers of Wisdom,  Knowledge and Truth.

Ever since we humans first appeared on this Planet we have been progressing, ever so slowly, along a learning curve.

We think we're making progress but our grade is still a D-.

Even though we had the 'Age of Enlightenment', the 'Industial Revolution' and now, the 'Technological Age', in my opinion, we haven't progressed that far.  In fact, we are falling behind.  We can certainly do alot with our fingers but our minds and hearts are begging for solutions.

The lessons we need to learn are there, if we take the time for a moment of reflection.

But we just keep saying, "I don't have time."

You can see how we are losing this epochal battle for our place in the universe:

On civility--you see it in the obscenities we shout at one another.

On behaviour--someone with an axe to grind can just walk up to someone in a Walmart Store, grab a bottle of bleach and Pine Sol, and turn their out of control anger into instant harm and mayhem.  Never mind the consequences.  Never mind other people nearby.  Never mind, never mind, never mind.

You can see it in a trash can full of dismembered, battered bodies of little ones who spent nine months getting here and then, in the last moment were bludgeoned to death and denied entrance.

Did anyone stop to think of the contributions these little ones could have made to humanity?  Maybe a cure for Cancer?  Maybe another Einstein?  Maybe a new way to heat and light our homes?  Maybe the answer we are all waiting for...a permanent end to war?

Now is the time to take account of who we are and where we are headed.  For if we do not, someone or something else will surely fill the vacuum we create.  (Physics 101)

Now is time to make a stand and take a stand against any and all things that get in the way of our planetary ascension.

Let the vibrations begin.    (they already have and are increasing...)

For Those who perceive this message, I know who You are.  You are the Ones we need.  I implore You, I beseech You, I am begging You, please come forward and help us take a good look at who we really are, as our collective reflection stares hauntingly back at us through Your crystal celestial lens piece.

When we are allowed to see our true nature, painfully reflecting back at us, we will learn how we have been deceived.  This will be our first step toward heightened enlightenment and the true transformation of our species.

We are a beautiful element of creation.  Even though misguided and stumbling along the Path, deep within us lies the capacity for healing and harmony and beauty.  Yet our banal (unnatural) nature clouds this innermost yearning.

Now is time for all of us to take stock, reach for and stand in the Light.

soule:  This is just, simply one of the most intuitive articles I've read on "autism".  It ranks right up there with the best.   Cudos to the author who has clearly done her homework and has provided an invaluable educational service for all of us.

Time Will Tell

You've got to hand it to America.  What a testament as to her resiliency.  After long struggles with black/white issues, the birth of the Civil Rights Movement, ugly and violent behaviour, angry outbursts, murders and riots...whom did we elect?

Millions of Americans, both black and white went to the polls, together, in 2008 and voted into office the first Black President.  It's really sad we keep pointing to a person's race whether they be in politics or in private life.  Race doesn't matter.  But I believe that substance and character do.  No matter what the circumstance, political or otherwise.

Countries are like rubber bands.  They expand and contract.  They rise and fall, they go forward and backwards.  They are, sometimes, stretched to their limits.  But they are constantly in a state of evolution, and the direction of that evolution determined by the people who occupy the country's land mass.

Hopefully the people are focused on encouraging the country toward evolving for the betterment of everyone, not just a select few.

It is interesting to fathom just why a politican thinks this way or that.  What drives them toward this agenda or that?  How did their background of experiences, friends, companions, relatives, teachers and education play  a role?

In the end it is what the people want.  But an uninformed group can quickly check a country's growth; seriously undermine its health and impede any progress toward anything meaningful.

There is a sinister, ideological war being waged.  It's been going on for years.  Just below the surface, it has rarely dared raise its ugly head lest it be found out and dealt a death blow.

But some of us have gotten a whiff of it and we're holding our noses.

Are we more enlightened?  Are we more aware or 'aware less'?  Are we more caring?  Are we more receptive?  Are we more astute?  Are we more savvy?

Did we wise up or just become more resolute?

The outcome of the next Presidential Election will tell the tale.

soule:  Mr. Belcher:  When are we going to stop self-destructing?  We have kids hooked on drugs; kids who can't read, can't write; street gangs and now flash mobs; people have lost their homes, their jobs, their savings, their dignity.  When are we going to work together, no matter what our color, to solve the problems that really matter?  I am sick and tired of hearing the 'race' card being used to further someone's agenda, assuage a long-ago grievance/wrong, or just give someone an excuse to gain media attention.  We all have so much to give to make this country a better place.  And you would be one of them.  Can we please get past the past and move on?  Let us seek solutions and not continue to drag up the wrongs that the majority of us know were wrong.  We have graduated.  My family has been here for generations.  I am sure that if I investigated, I would find that many of my people were unjustly and unfairly treated.  We need to come together as a people, as a nation.  Stop the in-fighting, bickering and name-calling because there is a higher calling beckoning us--G-d.  If we continue to let the past weigh us down, we will surely drown.  The important thing is we can learn from the Past but the Past is just that...passed.  We live in the present.  And it is just that, a present for us to open up each and every day.

We Are The Keepers

Before You Oh G-d

I prostrate myself
I fall upon my face
In Submission
Holiness Sanctified
All is Consummate
All is Convergence
All is Beauty
All is Perfection
Your Energy flows
It comes and it’s goes
It fills every crevice
Transforming
Realigning
All the Universe is Yours
We are the Keepers
That You Have Assigned
For a Moment in Time

To the Woodshed....

I consider myself a person who listens to all sides of an issue, whether or not I agree or disagree--I'm willing to listen.  But when we have ridiculous, repugnant and scurrilous statements made by the Left and one person in particular, who has to keep drudging up some kind of 'race' issue, knowingly uses it vicariously and provocatively, I become a little unsettled.

Dare a Conservative to choose that shoddy path.  Double standard here.  Not to mention there's not a thread of truth in what she says.

I've read comments by Jeneane Garofalo before and her rhetoric is filled with hate.

I particularly take offense at her comments that Republicans are 'rascist' for voting for Herman Cain.  What about the Independents and the Dems oh Ms. Garafalo?

Why is it that we have some who continuously spew garbage and no one takes them to task?

Seems to me it is time someone took Ms. Garafalo to the woodshed.  She probably isn't used to discipline of any kind.

Ms. Garofalo really needs to settle down and take a good look at herself and how she is perceived by what shoots out of her mouth.

Maybe the mouth was in gear before the brain had a chance to catch up?

Have we not been admonished by those in Washington, D.C. to speak a little softer, speak a little kinder, and stick to the facts, Ms. Garafalo?

Apparently she was off somewhere, probably in Never-Mind Land, and didn't get the message.

The news service who give these people publicity seriously need to consider if they are doing us any public service at all.  Could it be that it is just to garner a small audience and a small amount of fame for a nanosecond to improve their ratings?

Everything 'Is'

Everything is but is not
We see but cannot see
We reach through the darkness
Hoping to grasp something tangible
But it constantly alludes us
The brooding Moon
The constant Sun
We know But do not know
We perceive But play the fool
Time is an Illusion
Floating Free
Nothinginess
Emptiness
Life is a Board Game
And We are the Players
Fragments of a whole
Splintered shards of broken glass
    strewn across a mosaic tile
A tree without roots
A fleeting glance
A mirrored sky
A sad and solemn brief good bye
We envision no Beginning
Therefore there is no End
We constantly search
But do not know what we are searching for
Even though there are Those With the Answer
We flee from the Truth
But like moths, drawn to a fiery flame
Misconception drives us
The flame is not real
It is a mirage
It is not hot
Pass your finger through it
It is cool, now cold
We are Masters of Deception,
Weavers of Beauty
We glide into being
But are lost projectiles in reality
We exist but Only for a Second
We Ascend Then Descend
Down that long and winding staircase
Murky shadows accompany us
Our shaking hands feel their way across
A cold, hard stone wall
A dank smell of mold and neglect
Fills our nostrils
Yet, up ahead, a small beam of light
Beckons us Onward and upward
We unite, We separate,
We rally, We retreat,
Over and over
The message is Replete
But our ears can't hear the Beat
Repetition ruling
One not of our choosing
