Do You Get It Now? - Obama's Plan "Overwhelm the System"

OBAMA'S COLLEGE CLASSMATE SPEAKS OUT

By Wayne Allyn Root , June 6th, 2010
Las Vegas Review-Journal
Rahm Emanuel cynically said, "You never want a crisis to go to waste." It is now becoming clear that the crisis he was referring to is Barack Obama's presidency.

Obama is no fool. He is not incompetent. To the contrary, he is brilliant. He knows exactly what he's doing. He is purposely overwhelming the U.S. economy to create systemic failure, economic crisis and social chaos -- thereby destroying capitalism and our country from within.
Barack Obama is my college classmate (Columbia University, class of '83). As Glenn Beck correctly predicted from day one, Obama is following the plan of Cloward & Piven, two professors at Columbia University. They outlined a plan to socialize America by overwhelming the system with government spending and entitlement demands. Add up the clues below. Taken individually they're alarming. Taken as a whole, it is a brilliant, Machiavellian game plan to turn the United States into a socialist/Marxist state with a permanent majority that desperately needs government for survival ... and can be counted on to always vote for bigger government. Why not? They have no responsibility to pay for it.

-- Universal health care. The health care bill had very little to do with health care. It had everything to do with unionizing millions of hospital and health care workers, as well as adding 15,000 to 20,000 new IRS agents (who will join government employee unions). Obama doesn't care that giving free health care to 30 million Americans will add trillions to the national debt. What he does care about is that it cements the dependence of those 30 million voters to Democrats and big government. Who but a socialist revolutionary would pass this reckless spending bill in the middle of a depression?

-- Cap and trade. Like health care legislation having nothing to do with health care, cap and trade has nothing to do with global warming. It has everything to do with redistribution of income, government control of the economy and a criminal payoff to Obama's biggest contributors. Those powerful and wealthy unions and contributors (like GE, which owns NBC, MSNBC and CNBC) can then be counted on to support everything Obama wants. They will kick-back hundreds of millions of dollars in contributions to Obama and the Democratic Party to keep them in power. The bonus is that all the new taxes on Americans with bigger cars, bigger homes and businesses helps Obama "spread the wealth around."

-- Make Puerto Rico a state. Why? Who's asking for a 51st state? Who's asking for millions of new welfare recipients and government entitlement addicts in the middle of a depression? Certainly not American taxpayers. But this has been Obama's plan all along. His goal is to add two new Democrat senators, five Democrat congressman and a million loyal Democratic voters who are dependent on big government.

-- Legalize 12 million illegal immigrants. Just giving these 12 million potential new citizens free health care alone could overwhelm the system and bankrupt America. But it adds 12 million reliable new Democrat voters who can be counted on to support big government. Add another few trillion dollars in welfare, aid to dependent children, food stamps, free medical, education, tax credits for the poor, and eventually Social Security.

-- Stimulus and bailouts. Where did all that money go? It went to Democrat contributors, organizations (ACORN), and unions -- including billions of dollars to save or create jobs of government employees across the country. It went to save GM and Chrysler so that their employees could keep paying union dues. It went to AIG so that Goldman Sachs could be bailed out (after giving Obama almost $1 million in contributions). A staggering $125 billion went to teachers (thereby protecting their union dues). All those public employees will vote loyally Democrat to protect their bloated salaries and pensions that are bankrupting America. The country goes broke, future generations face a bleak future, but Obama, the Democrat Party, government, and the unions grow more powerful. The ends justify the means.

-- Raise taxes on small business owners, high-income earners, and job creators. Put the entire burden on only the top 20 percent of taxpayers, redistribute the income, punish success, and reward those who did nothing to deserve it (except vote for Obama). Reagan wanted to dramatically cut taxes in order to starve the government. Obama wants to dramatically raise taxes to starve his political opposition.

With the acts outlined above, Obama and his regime have created a vast and rapidly expanding constituency of voters dependent on big government; a vast privileged class of public employees who work for big government; and a government dedicated to destroying capitalism and installing themselves as socialist rulers by overwhelming the system.

Add it up and you've got the perfect Marxist scheme -- all devised by my Columbia University college classmate Barack Obama.

Soros and liberal groups seeking top election posts in battleground states - Washington Times

None Dare Call it TREASON

at what point do WE THE PEOPLE call our Senators and Congressmen to accountability?

at what point do WE THE PEOPLE say, "enough is enough" with Congress' continued, irresponsible, out of control spending?

at what point do WE THE PEOPLE demand that Congress be made to rescind the money it has so flagrantly blown and return it to the people?

at what point, after the housing debacle, the takeover of a major U.S automobile manufacturer, General Motors by an out-of-control government, Goldman Sachs, Wells Fargo, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac cooking the books, do WE THE PEOPLE say, it's time for prison terms?

Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner is warning that if the debt ceiling is not raised, our armed forces, and folks on Medicare, could very well go without a paycheck or two.

at what point do WE THE PEOPLE continue to watch these lunatics savage our country, repeatedly assaulting her, with nary a peep from any of us?

at what point do WE THE PEOPLE continue to allow a bunch of thugs to steal our savings, our homes, our freedom, our liberties, our children's, our grandchildren's future, our peace of mind?

at what point do WE THE PEOPLE continue to watch a bunch of crooks continue to erode and undermine this country's national security?

AT WHAT POINT, AMERICA DO WE DARE CALL THIS TREASON?

Obama flubs at 10th Mountain meet-and-greet

And the Message Continues.....

Illawarra District, Australia, June 22, 2011.

Midwayer Messenger Sharmon (MNO-6).

Subject: “We Are All One. Persist.”

Sharmon: “I thank you for thinking of me, asking for me, and I’m pleased that you do not see me as just a pretty face, but a Teacher who imparted to you much understanding in years gone by. We are one, we are all one, really, and that knowing is innate in all of us Midwayers. It can be no other way for us, due to our connections to the many elevated far above our status. On this world, our world, so left behind, and still so troubled, it is generally uncommon for the human population to see the self other than as individuals.

“Times are changing, and yes, we see families that are close, tribes, communities, even nations that pull together, but as the pressures of economic difficulties play out on larger numbers, as few will have more, and most will have less, you will find yourself having choices of seeing yourselves as individuals, or seeing yourselves as being one. Of being part of an organism, as part of the whole, as immediate siblings, and children of the one Creator of all, who placed you here, and provided you with a Guide to bring you Home, experienced, wise.

“Only in part do I agree with your theory that the gift of human free will is initially compromised at the moment of birth, if not already at the moment of conception, because you did not ask to be born, to exist, to run this race of spiritual endeavor. It’s an observation, with some merit I give credit to. It is often in the minds, and in the words of those who go through difficulties great and small. For my part I see it otherwise, yes, that the gift of life is a granting of incomparable bigheartedness by a most loving and giving Parent of us all.

“Your world, our world, is a great testing ground from which have sprung, and in the future will spring, many that are strong, decisive, wise and tested – contributors of note – that will guide others, from the time of their arrival on Mansonia, to their eventual stewardship on the worlds of the universes now evolving in deep space, so persist. And still, tough and resolute as you will become as individuals, you will have the understanding that you, and all other children of the heavenly Creator, are one, and you will shed a tear for any of those of free will who refuse to go on.

“As I told you long ago: As evolutionary creatures you may get to see life as an unsolicited gift of unsurpassed generosity by the Gods. A refusal to go on then becomes a return-to-sender. Thank you. I tried life, and I can’t get it to work. It’s too hard, so please recycle my components… And even the Gods learn how to weep.

“Carry on. Be one. We love you all. This is Sharmon.”

We're All in This Together

no one can presume, with any certainty, to know the facts, other than those who experienced it, to feel or even possibly begin to fathom the depth of despair and hopelessness of the Jewish people as they were forcefully marched off to the gas chambers; nor the pain and suffering of millions of Russians who were brutally slaughtered during the Russian Revolution, and during WWII; nor the Cambodians who were murdered, by the millions, at the hands of Pol Pot.  there are many more examples of horrific atrocities committed and being committed by human beings on this planet.   hopefully, the times we are in will soon send a very clear message that this is not acceptable, anymore.  this morning i read the Drudge Report and one particular headline really reached out and grabbed me....the historic and unprecedented flooding now taking place in Minot, North Dakota.  i'm seeing alot of these words, lately...historic, unprecedented, biblical.  it doesn't matter  whether you live in India, Pakistan, Germany, the UK, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Uruguay, Russia, Chile, China, Japan, Peru, France, the U.S. or Timbuktu.  for the first time on this planet, we are (all together now) being chastened and hastened as we stumble headlong toward some kind of quantum mix.  there's nothing quite like a catastrophe to bring people together.  skin color fades and no one questions which church, synagogue or mosque you attend.  there is a staggering amount of tornadoes, drought, famines, floods, volcanoes, earthquakes and tsunamis happening.  it would be easier to accept this if these were isolated events but it appears that natural disasters are heating up all over the globe.  then add to that the human equation which appears to be making matters much worse.  if i didn't know any better, it would seem that this ole earth is being turned on her head.  are some of us still viewing these global events, both economic and otherwise, as separate and distinct occurences or are we beginning to get the feeling that the individual threads that make up our fabric are actually weaving themselves into one giant global tapestry?  that we are slowly losing our own personal identities as countries and as individuals and quite possibly in the first stages of being able to perceive ourselves as one whole unit instead of segmented parts?  that when you hurt, i hurt.  that we, as human beings, have a spiritual and moral obligation to help one another because it is the right thing to do.  that we all, being of different colors and beliefs, when it comes right down to it, are being forced and pushed to re-examine our roles as earthly co-inhabitants?  do you believe that a process is underway with the end result that we will finally acknowledge that which unites us rather than what divides us?  what we are witnessing is the continuation of humanity's planetary evolution.  this process appears to be accelerating; and that these natural disasters are actually part of the process by which we will all learn to come together.  we will be shown a new dimension; one in which we will happily shed our differences and love one another.  we will finally learn to live together peacefully.  we will connect with others in the universe who will embrace us and continue to help us evolve and lead us forward on our evolutionary journey as universe citizens.  toward a whole new awareness of just who we are and why we are here, on this beautiful planet that was hand-picked just for us and where we fit in the Creator's universal Grand Design.

Panetta's Attack on Reagan Defense Policies

By Cliff Kincaid, June 19 2011

Senate conservatives proudly call themselves “Reagan Republicans” because of Reagan’s “Peace Through Strength” military policies. But in Leon Panetta, whose nomination comes up for a full Senate vote for Secretary of Defense on Tuesday, they are being asked to endorse a man whose Congressional career was dedicated to fighting Reagan’s defense build-up and anti-communist policies. That is why the unanimous vote in favor of Panetta in the Senate Armed Services Committee is so mystifying.

Based on the facts about Panetta’s record and curious connections to a major figure in the Communist Party, which are only lately starting to get the attention of the conservative media, a vote for Panetta can only be viewed as trashing the Reagan legacy.

At a time when Reagan had said, “In virtually every measure of military power the Soviet Union enjoys a decided advantage,” Panetta sought to undermine Reagan’s pro-defense policies at every turn:

Panetta in 1983 endorsed the nuclear weapons freeze, a concept backed by the Soviet Union which would have frozen in place a Soviet nuclear advantage in Europe.

Panetta supported a ban on the testing and deployment of new nuclear ballistic missiles.

Panetta opposed CIA covert operations to undermine the Communist Sandinista regime, calling Reagan’s support for the Nicaraguan freedom fighters a “dirty war.”

Panetta opposed the neutron bomb, an enhanced radiation weapon designed to counter a Soviet tank build-up in Europe.

Panetta opposed the B-1 bomber, which was funded under Reagan and is today a key part of the fleet.

While most members of Congress were saluting Reagan and our troops for liberating Grenada, Panetta criticized the Reagan action and warned against the dispatch of a U.S. naval task force to the vicinity of Cuba. “This is not a time to seek out new targets to flex our military muscle,” Panetta said.

Panetta opposed the MX “Peacekeeper” missile, arguing it would jeopardize arms negotiations with the Soviets. Reagan had warned that defunding the system would “weaken our ability to deter war…”

When the Senate approved Panetta’s nomination as CIA director, Senators were denied important information about his relationship with Communist Party figure Hugh DeLacy and DeLacy’s ties to Soviet and Chinese intelligence operatives. It is not clear if Senate investigators or the FBI, or both, failed to investigate Panetta’s background. However, Diana West writes about this sensitive topic in The Washington Examiner. Regarding the lack of attention to this critical matter, she writes, “Our legislative branch is falling asleep on the job over stories that should be giving them—and us—night sweats.”

DeLacy, one of only two congressmen exposed as a member of the Moscow-funded Communist Party, was under suspicion when he was in the Congress (January 3, 1945 – January 3, 1947), having been elected as a Democrat who gave outspoken pro-communist speeches on the House floor. At the time, in response to his remarks in favor of the Chinese Communists, Republican Rep. Clare Boothe Luce had called him “Communist-fed,” one of the “Moscow-tuned voices,” a darling of the Communist Party publication The Daily Worker, and source of “Communist propaganda.” DeLacy, she said, had “a definite Communist bias,” after citing several cases of him belonging to Communist Party fronts. For his part, DeLacy would sing the praises in the Congressional Record of Harry Bridges, the “west coast labor leader” who was in fact a member of the Communist Party. He also attacked the House Committee on Un-American Activities, which exposed communists.

To cite just one example of DeLacy’s pro-Communist propaganda, he declared, “The Chinese Communists stand for a simple program which has long ago been achieved in Western nations, a program of simple land and tax reforms and of free elections.”

Years later, in 1974, DeLacy would cite his pro-Communist speeches on the floor of Congress in a successful bid to have Communist China pay for him to visit the country. There, DeLacy would meet with identified communist spy Solomon Adler, a former U.S. Treasury Department official later identified in Chen Hansheng’s memoirs as working for Chinese intelligence. He also met with another identified communist spy, Frank Coe, and accused spy John Stewart Service.

Eventually, DeLacy would move from Washington State, where he was elected to Congress, to California, settling in Rep. Panetta’s district. The DeLacy papers at the University of Washington feature a series of friendly exchanges between them, including requests for sensitive documents and Panetta’s eager desire to provide the information. Panetta paid tribute to DeLacy at a private party and in the Congressional Record, even hailing DeLacy for standing up to anti-communist “McCarthyism.” This was apparently a reference to DeLacy’s desire to keep his communist affiliations secret.

If all of this were not bad enough, Obama now wants Panetta to move from his super-sensitive CIA job to take over the Department of Defense. In the same way they overlooked the DeLacy connection, Senators are failing to take a look at what then-Rep. Panetta did to undermine the Reagan defense buildup.

There is also the matter of Panetta dramatically changing his position on the War Powers Act. He recently told Senator John McCain that “I believe very strongly that the president has the constitutional power as commander in chief to take steps that he believes are necessary to protect this country and protect our national interests. And obviously, I think it’s important for presidents to consult, to have the advice of Congress. But in the end, I believe he has the constitutional power to do what he has to do to protect this country.”

This was in response to McCain’s question: “Does it worry you if the Congress begins to tell the commander in chief as to exactly…what the president can or cannot do in any conflict?”

But in 1983, then-Rep. Panetta declared (Congressional Record, September 28, 1983, page 26163) that the War Powers Act was “the law of the land” and that the Reagan Administration was in “brazen disregard” of the law by using military force and troops in the Middle East. Panetta said the law “was designed to provide enough flexibility for a president to respond to attacks, yet limit his ability to use troops abroad in hostilities or in potential hostilities without congressional authorization or a declaration of war.”

“It is incumbent upon this body to protect the integrity of our legislative process by asserting its legal and constitutional role in deciding the extent of our commitment in Lebanon,” Panetta went on. “Congress must not abdicate its authority to participate in foreign policy decisions.”

Panetta’s flip-flop on the War Powers Act suggests he is more than willing to carry out Obama’s policies, including what are likely to be major defense cuts.

It is tragic that the Senate has not been made aware of Panetta’s record. The record even shows that Panetta was so far to the left that he praised a pro-Soviet “peace activist,” Lucy Haessler, and asked President Jimmy Carter for clemency for Leonard Peltier, the radical American Indian activist serving life in prison for killing two FBI agents.

There is still time, however, for the Senate to do the right thing and get the facts before taking a reckless vote. A vote on his nomination as Secretary of Defense is scheduled for Tuesday. Any member of the Senate can place a hold on the nomination until the questions about his relationship with DeLacy and his opposition to Reagan’s “Peace Through Strength” policies are answered. It is a “Time for Choosing,” as Reagan once famously said.

Texas State Officials Groped By TSA As “Punishment”

Texas Representative Ron Paul, "WE'RE BROKE"

video is no longer available. just go to youtube and type in Ron Paul, "We're Broke", it'll come up.....

Deja Vu?

History Unfolding

I am a student of history. Professionally, I have written 15 books on history that have been published in six languages, and I have studied history all my life. I have come to think there is something monumentally large afoot, and I do not believe it is simply a banking crisis, or a mortgage crisis, or a credit crisis. Yes these exist, but they are merely single facets on a very large gemstone that is only now coming into a sharper focus..

Something of historic proportions is happening. I can sense it because I know how it feels, smells, what it looks like, and how people react to it. Yes, a perfect storm may be brewing, but there is something happening within our country that has been evolving for about ten to fifteen years. The pace has dramatically quickened in the past two.

We demand and then codify into law the requirement that our banks make massive loans to people we know they can never pay back? Why?

We learned just days ago that the Federal Reserve, which has little or no real oversight by anyone, has "loaned" two trillion dollars (that is $2,000,000,000,000) over the past few months, but will not tell us to whom or why or disclose the terms. That is our money. Yours and mine. And that is three times the $700 billion we all argued about so strenuously just this past September. Who has this money? Why do they have it? Why are the terms unavailable to us? Who asked for it? Who authorized it? I thought this was a government of "we the people," who loaned our powers to our elected leaders. Apparently not.

We have spent two or more decades intentionally de-industrializing our economy... Why?

We have intentionally dumbed down our schools, ignored our history, and no longer teach our founding documents, why we are exceptional, and why we are worth preserving. Students by and large cannot write, think critically, read, or articulate. Parents are not revolting, teachers are not picketing, school boards continue to back mediocrity. Why?

We have now established the precedent of protesting every close election (violently in California over a proposition that is so controversial that it simply wants marriage to remain defined as between one man and one woman. Did you ever think such a thing possible just a decade ago?) We have corrupted our sacred political process by allowing unelected judges to write laws that radically change our way of life, and then mainstream Marxist groups like ACORN and others to turn our voting system into a banana republic. To what purpose?

Now our mortgage industry is collapsing, housing prices are in free fall, major industries are failing, our banking system is on the verge of collapse, social security is nearly bankrupt, as is Medicare and our entire government. Our education system is worse than a joke (I teach college and I know precisely what I am talking about) - the list is staggering in its length, breadth, and depth.. It is potentially 1929 x ten...And we are at war with an enemy we cannot even name for fear of offending people of the same religion, who, in turn, cannot wait to slit the throats of your children if they have the opportunity to do so.

And finally, we have elected a man that no one really knows anything about, who has never run so much as a Dairy Queen, let alone a town as big as Wasilla , Alaska .. All of his associations and alliances are with real radicals in their chosen fields of employment, and everything we learn about him, drip by drip, is unsettling if not downright scary (Surely you have heard him speak about his idea to create and fund a mandatory civilian defense force stronger than our military for use inside our borders? No? Oh, of course. The media would never play that for you over and over and then demand he answer it. Sarah Palin's pregnant daughter and $150,000 wardrobe are more important.)

Mr. Obama's winning platform can be boiled down to one word: Change. Why?

I have never been so afraid for my country and for my children as I am now.

This man campaigned on bringing people together, something he has never, ever done in his professional life. In my assessment, Obama will divide us along philosophical lines, push us apart, and then try to realign the pieces into a new and different power structure. Change is indeed coming. And when it comes, you will never see the same nation again.

And that is only the beginning..

As a serious student of history, I thought I would never come to experience what the ordinary, moral German must have felt in the mid-1930s In those times, the "savior" was a former smooth-talking rabble-rouser from the streets, about whom the average German knew next to nothing. What they should have known was that he was associated with groups that shouted, shoved, and pushed around people with whom they disagreed; he edged his way onto the political stage through great oratory. Conservative "losers" read it right now.

And there were the promises. Economic times were tough, people were losing jobs, and he was a great speaker. And he smiled and frowned and waved a lot. And people, even newspapers, were afraid to speak out for fear that his "brown shirts" would bully and beat them into submission. Which they did - regularly. And then, he was duly elected to office, while a full-throttled economic crisis bloomed at hand - the Great Depression. Slowly, but surely he seized the controls of government power, person by person, department by department, bureaucracy by bureaucracy. The children of German citizens were at first, encouraged to join a Youth Movement in his name where they were taught exactly what to think. Later, they were required to do so. No Jews of course,

How did he get people on his side? He did it by promising jobs to the jobless, money to the money-less, and rewards for the military-industrial complex. He did it by indoctrinating the children, advocating gun control, health care for all, better wages, better jobs, and promising to re-instill pride once again in the country, across Europe , and across the world. He did it with a compliant media - did you know that? And he did this all in the name of justice and .... . ... change. And the people surely got what they voted for.

If you think I am exaggerating, look it up. It's all there in the history books.

So read your history books. Many people of conscience objected in 1933 and were shouted down, called names, laughed at, and ridiculed. When Winston Churchill pointed out the obvious in the late 1930s while seated in the House of Lordsin England (he was not yet Prime Minister), he was booed into his seat and called a crazy troublemaker. He was right, though. And the world came to regret that he was not listened to.

Do not forget that Germany was the most educated, the most cultured country in Europe . It was full of music, art, museums, hospitals, laboratories, and universities. And yet, in less than six years (a shorter time span than just two terms of the U. S. presidency) it was rounding up its own citizens, killing others, abrogating its laws, turning children against parents, and neighbors against neighbors.. All with the best of intentions, of course.. The road to Hell is paved with them.

As a practical thinker, one not overly prone to emotional decisions, I have a choice: I can either believe what the objective pieces of evidence tell me (even if they make me cringe with disgust); I can believe what history is shouting to me from across the chasm of seven decades; or I can hope I am wrong by closing my eyes, having another latte, and ignoring what is transpiring around me..

I choose to believe the evidence. No doubt some people will scoff at me, others laugh, or think I am foolish, naive, or both. To some degree, perhaps I am. But I have never been afraid to look people in the eye and tell them exactly what I believe-and why I believe it.

I pray I am wrong. I do not think I am. Perhaps the only hope is our vote in the next elections.

How Can I Get This Message Across?

this a.m. i was wrestling with spirits, again.  i was tiring as they wouldn't stop harrassing me.  incessantly  probing and poking, determined to find any weak spots.  i guess i wasn't strong enough to fend them off right away, as I've done in the past many times, but eventually they tired from my persistence and i won.  they disappeared.  as i was walking toward the convenience store, i saw and heard a man and woman arguing.  they were standing next to their car or van.  i've seen him before but i can't recall where.  maybe the movies, maybe someone i saw in a parking lot or in a grocery store.  his face was very familiar.  maybe if i think long enough i'll remember.  anyway...the woman was standing quietly with her arms at her side as the man (I felt it was her husband) continued his barrage of words.  she had deep dark auburn hair tied in a knot and wore a dark blue short sleeved shirt.  i couldn't see what type of pants she was wearing.  her shirt appeared to be of a tight weave and had a soft sheen.  he had on jeans and a light blue shirt.  he was a little taller than she and was leaning over her.  i heard his words distinctly to her, "if you ever do that one more time, i can guarantee that you'll never see the kids again."  her reaction was passive.  she just stood there, taking it all in.
----
my recurring message is that "we are all one."  easier said than done as it is extremely difficult to see this happen or actually being able to even perceive this concept as there are so many who could care less about this being a true reality.  so many with personal problems (addictions, afflictions) so many with illnesses;  so many who don't even have the time to think about "oneness" as they are all consumed, looking for a job to pay their bills.  many are just plain evil and no way will they accept this "oneness" as a reality.

so, i'm aware that i'm sharing some things but there are many who don't care, can't care or won't care.  that's okay because the message is not going to go away.

as i awoke this morning i was receiving a beautiful message of how we are all part of one another.  together we make up the whole.  we are part of other people, yes, but we are also a part of our surroundings:  trees and grass, butterflies and dragonflies, rocks and marble, apples and pears, oysters and pearls, sunsets and sunrises, animals and insects.  do you get what i mean?  even though we are different life forms, we still are imbedded in each other.  how so?  i don't know but can feel it.  some would call me nuts but that's okay i believe what i believe to be the truth.  call it an essence if that will make it easier for you to understand.  it's like, when you cut down a tree, you are cutting down a piece of yourself; have you ever looked at a closet door in your house and seen the outline there?  it's the soul of the tree that was hewn.  when you squash a bug, you are squashing a piece of yourself, when you abuse an animal, you are abusing yourself.

the world is in turmoil.  would it be fair to say that not since WWI, WWII have we globally witnessed so many economic crises and natural disasters on such a global scale?  Could these economic disasters have been avoided or were they done on purpose?  Is it just that countries (as a whole) have overspent for so many years that it has finally caught up with them?  do you believe that our own economic situation could have been handled differently so as to prevent the dire economic and social situation we now face?

irregardless of what the answer is, it is what it is.

Being a Righteous Gentile I believe in the Righteous Redeemer (the Moshiach) Christians call him Messiah who will bring the Jewish Nation out of Exile and into the Final Redemption.

What we are seeing is a transformation, a transition from an old way of doing business to a new way - G-d's New World Order.

Rebelliousness and evil are being revealed...it is being dredged up from the stink and darkness where it's been hiding all along and held up to the light for all to see whether it be a sexting Senator, a hollywood star spilling his guts, or a drunken husband abusing his wife.  just fill in the blanks.

it can't hide anymore as we are in the wash rinse and dry cycle.

we (1) identify the dirty piece of laundry (2) walk on over to the washing machine and drop it in, pour in the detergent and proceed to let the machine do its job of loosening all the dirt and grime (impurities);   then the rinse cycle where all the impurities are rinsed away.

kinda like being re-born again.

so far this transition from the old to the new has been bumpy to say the least.  people have lost their lives, their savings, their homes, and last but not least, their trust.

they are tired of the same old same old and are looking for some kind of inspiration to keep going as the going is getting rougher and rougher.

Do you see anyone on the horizon that fits the bill?  I certainly don't. the only thing i have going for me is my unshakable faith that i believe this a G-d driven event (worldwide, not just here) and that He is solidly keeping to His timetable.  If and when He lets me in on the details is entirely up to Him, not me.

We are in the "Correcting Time."

the point is that as the stock market on occasion suffers a correction because they get things all wrapped around the axle, so it is now with humankind and the way we have been doing business.

It's hard to say with any accuracy as to how this oneness is all going to come about.  Whether it will be a smooth transition or fraught with problems.  At this point in time I am hopin for the best but it doesn't look very promising as the upheaval that I'm seeing with all kinds of natural disasters, wars breaking out all over the place, kingdoms falling, etc., prominent people going down, is something to behold.  But then again the Sages never could figure this one out either.

They couldn't say with certainty that it would be a cake walk.

I don't know your own personal situation yet i can bet that many of you are suffering greatly.

there is much uncertainty concerning everything right now and you and your families are going through a great deal of turmoil.

i have often wondered how the Founders handled all the uncertainty they were going through when they cast their lot on the side of liberty.  how many knew what sacrifices would be required of them; exactly what lay ahead, how many wondered where they would gain the strength to weather the problems; how many were keenly aware of how much they stood to lose or how many didn't have a clue?  but they made a decision...they did what they believed to be right and just.

how many people are willing to commit to that today?

well, it appears that we have come full circle.  we all have a choice and it is to seek the Truth in all things and then ask for the wisdom and guidance to go with it.

Do not drown in despair but hand the reins of your situation over to a just G-d.

things and events are unfolding quickly on this planet and this is just the beginning.  This turmoil is just concealing the real purpose of all of this and that is the gathering of all of us together.  some of us are going to come kicking and screaming (this is going to be the hard part, for all of us to get through)  but the All's Plan for Oneness will come about in due time no matter how many people or how many events try to derail it.

If ever there was a time for people of all faiths to come together in prayer, it is now.

Convergence

yesterday was the town's homecoming; a sumptious pancake breakfast in the morning complete with a fish fry in the evening.  then the homecoming parade this morning, the afternoon BBQ and finally the big get together at the fair grounds complete with the ice cream man, (he was very popular BTW), Pepsi, Coke and Mountain Dew.  I think I even saw Dr. Pepper.  Why, he hasn't changed one bit.  There were all kinds of tables and booths selling trinkets and memorabilia, a young country/western singer, and of course the horse races.  Many beautiful steeds showed up with little people holding the reins in one hand and a snow cone in the other.  large and tall; cowboys and showoffs.  tatoos and mohawks; folks were scattered everywhere, seeking any shade available.  sitting under sprawling trees, or in lawn chairs inside the long building with the open sides, fanning themselves, trying to stay cool.  a little four year old was playing hide and seek; he and i were giving high fives back and forth; a young Hispanic family with a little baby just beginning to walk,  teetering this way and that, but Dad held his hands firmly.  I bent down and picked one of the many yellow daisies growing all around, you know, the ones with the soft brown button centers, and walked over and handed it to the little guy.  his eyes drew down upon it and then pudgy little fingers reached up and and grabbed it.  his dad looked up at me and said, "oh no, he's going to eat it" and then laughed.  but, he didn't.  he held it firmly out in front of him, waving it this way and that.  little toddlers were toddling about; young moms pushing baby carriages; old and middle-aged, young, tawny, red and brown, black and white, all mingling together.  it was hot and sultry.  where's the June rain everyone was wonderin?  thank you, G-d, it will come when You see fit.  all were here to enjoy the day and have a good time.  i delighted in talking with many people from all different backgrounds.  even before i left the house this morning, i had a comforting   and overwhelming feeling that we, as an entire human species, are growing closer together, even though you wouldn't know it with all the nasty stuff going on in the world.  and many don't realize it, either.  but it is happening.  it made me feel very happy and knowing that, in the end, everything will be okay.  There are forces beyond our control that are gently pushing (sometimes they kick us in the behind) nudging humanity toward a new universal alliance with their planetary brethren.  this i believe with my whole being.  we will be shown, in due time and I strongly believe, very soon, proof of this.  today, 6.11.11, was one day when all the people came together as one group, and all with the intent purpose of having a good time and visiting with old friends.  no one was there for the express purpose of making trouble or harming anyone, but to have fun.  isn't it nice to see that happen, for a change?

HOO RAH! (that's Marine lingo for "JUS TRY IT")

A Simple Act of Kindness

One day, when I was a freshman in high school,
A kid from my class was walking home from school.
His name was Kyle.
It looked like he was carrying all of his books.
I thought to myself, 'Why would anyone bring home all his books on a Friday?
He must really be a nerd.'
I had quite a weekend planned (parties and a football game with my friends
tomorrow afternoon), so I shrugged my shoulders and went on.
As I was walking, I saw a bunch of kids running toward him.
They ran at him, knocking all his books out of his arms and tripping him so
he landed in the dirt.
His glasses went flying, and I saw them land in the grass about ten feet
from him...
He looked up and I saw this terrible sadness in his eyes .
my heart went out to him. So, I jogged over to him as he crawled around
looking for his glasses, and I saw a tear in his eye.
As I handed him his glasses, I said, 'Those guys are jerks.'
They really should get lives.
He looked at me and said, 'Hey thanks!'
There was a big smile on his face.
It was one of those smiles that showed real gratitude.
I helped him pick up his books, and asked him where he lived.
As it turned out, he lived near me, so I asked him why I had never seen him
before.
He said he had gone to private school before now.
I would have never hung out with a private school kid before.
We talked all the way home, and I carried some of his books.
He turned out to be a pretty cool kid.
I asked him if he wanted to play a little football
with my friends .
He said yes.
we hung out all weekend and the more I got to know Kyle, the more I liked
him, and my friends thought the same of him.
Monday morning came, and there was Kyle with the huge stack of books again.
I stopped him and said, 'Boy, you are gonna really build some serious
muscles with this pile of books everyday!' He just laughed and handed me half the books.
Over the next four years, Kyle and I became best friends.
When we were seniors we began to think about college.
He decided on Georgetown and I was going to Duke.
I knew that we would always be friends, that the miles would never
be a problem.
He was going to be a doctor and I was going for business on a football
scholarship.
Kyle was valedictorian of our class.
I teased him all the time about being a nerd.
He had to prepare a speech for graduation.
I was so glad it wasn't me having to get up there and speak .
Graduation day, I saw Kyle.
He looked great.
He was one of those guys that really found himself during high school.
He filled out and actually looked good in glasses.
He had more dates than I had and all the girls loved him.
Boy, sometimes I was jealous!
Today was one of those days.
I could see that he was nervous about his speech.
So, I smacked him on the back and said, 'Hey, big guy, you'll be great!'
He looked at me with one of those looks (the really grateful one) and
smiled....
'Thanks,' he said.
As he started his speech, he cleared his throat, and began ...
'Graduation is a time to thank those who helped you make it through those
tough years.
Your parents, your teachers, your siblings, maybe a coach...but mostly your
friends....
I am here to tell all of you that being a friend to someone is the best gift
you can give them.
I am going to tell you a story.'
I just looked at my friend with disbelief as he told the first day we met.
He had planned to kill himself over the weekend.
He talked of how he had cleaned out his locker so his Mom wouldn't have to
do it later and was carrying his stuff home.
He looked hard at me and gave me a little smile.
'Thankfully, I was saved.
My friend saved me from doing the unspeakable.'
I heard the gasp go through the crowd as this handsome, popular boy told us
all about his weakest moment.
I saw his Mom and dad looking at me and smiling that same grateful smile.
Not until that moment did I realize it's depth.
Never underestimate the power of your actions.
With one small gesture you can change a person's life.
For better or for worse.
God puts us all in each others lives to impact one another in some way.
Look for God in others.

'Friends are angels who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble
remembering how to fly.'

There is no beginning or end.. Yesterday is history.  Tomorrow is a mystery.

Today is a gift.

Liberty or Tyranny - The Choice is Yours

The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure.
