The Re-Set Button

The world in general, countries in particular, are being propelled toward some sort of global re-set.  It's a button we can't see but we sure can feel it.  This global re-set is just around the corner.  It's coming fast and I'm unsure just how all of this is going to turn out.  I have an uneasy feeling I just can't shake.  I wold like to be more optimistic.  It's like consciously remembering the struggle out of the birth canal.   First you had to make sure it was head first and not the other way around.  Man, I didn't believe this would be so difficult.  I'm elbowing my way down and it's so damn slippery.  I need all the strength I can muster.  Do I have what it takes to make it out of here?  And if I do, what is waiting for me on the other end?  The groundswell of indignant and angry human beings throwing off their tyrannical shackles and toppling tyrannical governments is impressive.  It truly is a Good vs. Evil scenario.  What I see happening here in the United States of America is another sorry tale which is taking a turn for the worse, under Obama.  George Orwell's "1984" is alive and well.  What a visionary Orwell turned out to be !  Trouble is I never thought I would be turning the pages of his book in my lifetime.  I am thankful that Snowden is safe in the Russian Federation (at least for the time being).  Who would have thought that I would be singing the praises of a former KGB Agent, Vladimir Putin, for granting sanctuary to a Whistleblower from the USofA?  I think, however, that part of Putin's decision had to do with his dislike of Obama.  It's a Tit for Tat sort of thing going on.  And just think of all that information Snowden has not disclosed.   I bet that's why Obama's so nervous.  The House of Representatives just voted to keep the NSA's PRISM Program going, allowing the NSA to continue spying on American citizens.  It appears that we don't have a House of Representatives anymore.  We have representatives drawing their pay but no representation when it comes to what the American people want.  Congress seems to have forgotten that when they took that oath of office it was to protect American citizens and the Constitution of the United States and in this case, The Fourth Amendment.  The Fourth Amendment specifically states that NSA cannot do what it is doing (using warrantless wiretaps) to gather information.  You must first get a warrant.  So much for the Rule of Law.  We have elected representatives who are now representing only themselves.    Hell, we're fast becoming just a shell of a country.  Why don't we just do away with Congress altogether?--The President already has with signing all them Executive Orders.  And Congress, with this latest ruling, has shown its true hand.  We desperately need a third party in this country.  All the Dems and Repubs are doing now is just taking up space and wasting our money. F**k the American people.  F**k the Constitution.  The Department of Homeland Security is building a bunker that is five times bigger than the Pentagon.  What the hell for?  And the acronym, "Homeland Security" is nauseating.  Security for what homeland?  The homeland I've lived in all these years is disintegrating fast.  Are we looking at another homeland?  Is there something else going on that could possibly make sense out of all of this?  Something we're not being told-- (what a stupid question).  Could we possibly be on an event of such epic proportions like being invaded by a bunch of ETs?  If so, is that why all the bunker building, gun and ammo buying is for?  Does the government have proof that the ETs are on their way for the purpose of subjugating, dominating us?  --  Take away all our drinking water, precious metals, beer and wine, popcorn and pop tarts and deprive us of watching the NFL and the NBA?  I don't think we have to worry about them so much as we have to worry about our own damn government.  Could these ETs be why FEMA is building all these so-called FEMA camps?  And for our own safety of course--What a joke.  Or has NASA determined that we're going to be hit head on by Comet ISON during the latter part of this year or Planet X? What was it that Jefferson said?  "When the government fears the people there is Liberty; when the people fear the government there is Tyranny." And that's the one thing Big Government really hasn't thought through yet.  We Americans, when we've had it up to here with being pushed around are going to push back and we're going to push back hard.   We may hit that re-set button but there's always that Off switch.

1. Life means suffering.

To live means to suffer, because the human nature is not perfect and neither is the world we live in. During our lifetime, we inevitably have to endure physical suffering such as pain, sickness, injury, tiredness, old age, and eventually death; and we have to endure psychological suffering like sadness, fear, frustration, disappointment, and depression. Although there are different degrees of suffering and there are also positive experiences in life that we perceive as the opposite of suffering, such as ease, comfort and happiness, life in its totality is imperfect and incomplete, because our world is subject to impermanence. This means we are never able to keep permanently what we strive for, and just as happy moments pass by, we ourselves and our loved ones will pass away one day, too.

2. The origin of suffering is attachment.

The origin of suffering is attachment to transient things and the ignorance thereof. Transient things do not only include the physical objects that surround us, but also ideas, and -in a greater sense- all objects of our perception. Ignorance is the lack of understanding of how our mind is attached to impermanent things. The reasons for suffering are desire, passion, ardour, pursuit of wealth and prestige, striving for fame and popularity, or in short: craving and clinging. Because the objects of our attachment are transient, their loss is inevitable, thus suffering will necessarily follow. Objects of attachment also include the idea of a "self" which is a delusion, because there is no abiding self. What we call "self" is just an imagined entity, and we are merely a part of the ceaseless becoming of the universe.

3. The cessation of suffering is attainable.

The cessation of suffering can be attained through nirodha. Nirodha means the unmaking of sensual craving and conceptual attachment. The third noble truth expresses the idea that suffering can be ended by attaining dispassion. Nirodha extinguishes all forms of clinging and attachment. This means that suffering can be overcome through human activity, simply by removing the cause of suffering. Attaining and perfecting dispassion is a process of many levels that ultimately results in the state of Nirvana. Nirvana means freedom from all worries, troubles, complexes, fabrications and ideas. Nirvana is not comprehensible for those who have not attained it.

4. The path to the cessation of suffering.

There is a path to the end of suffering - a gradual path of self-improvement, which is described more detailed in the Eightfold Path. It is the middle way between the two extremes of excessive self-indulgence (hedonism) and excessive self-mortification (asceticism); and it leads to the end of the cycle of rebirth. The latter quality discerns it from other paths which are merely "wandering on the wheel of becoming", because these do not have a final object. The path to the end of suffering can extend over many lifetimes, throughout which every individual rebirth is subject to karmic conditioning. Craving, ignorance, delusions, and its effects will disappear gradually, as progress is made on the path.

Look in the Mirror

We have a tribal mentality in this country--a Black subculture of hatred that hides just below the surface.  We have people lurking in the shadows, waiting for opportunities to exploit events, such as the verdict just handed down in the George Zimmerman, Trayvon Martin case.  All because one side refuses to admit, even after all facts were presented, that one was clearly the perpetrator and the other the victim.  These shadowy individuals then take it upon themselves to go out, actively recruit and goad people into mobilizing together for the express purpose of citing race and rascism as their just cause, whipping them up into raging mobs.  These trouble makers and their ignoble plans include Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Eric Holder and the President of the United States.  Since when does a President of the United States take sides in something that's none of his concern?  Answer:  Because Obama only cares about driving a wedge between people, further creating anger and divisiveness.  Al Sharpton is mobilizing people all over the country in protest.  Fine.  Protest all you want but be careful.  You do not have the right to incite violence harm and/or destroy other people or their  property.   I believe there are many in this country, right now, who have had it up to here with violence being used as a cure all (by certain groups of people) because of a perceived problem.  This time, I strongly believe the result(s) of your actions:  violence, vandalism, maiming, murder and mayhem will be placed squarely upon your shoulders and, I believe, with formidable consequences to follow.   We have a debate ongoing in Congress regarding how we're going to handle the millions of illegals in this country.  I would argue that we don't need to worry so much about them as Congress will eventually (sigh) address and act upon this issue.  In addition, these people are not causing many problems.  But now, let's turn our attention to the Black Community.  As a whole, the Black Community hasn't even gotten to first base yet.  Blacks are the first ones to point the finger at others, refuse to take responsibility for their own problems and are the first ones to take to the streets and riot when they can't even clean up the messes in their own back yards:  broken families, single mothers, multiple fathers, multiple mothers, kids strung out on dope, alcoholism, gangs, high murder rates, and a lack of respect for anything that doesn't measure up to some type of Pyrrhic groupie Black standard.  Plus their hatred for Whitey and the Rule of Law has deepened, fueled by the likes of Sharpton, Holder, Jackson and Obama.  Eric Holder as head of the Department of Justice is, excuse me, an oxymoron.  You might as well just leave the "oxy" part out.  Eric Holder as head of the DOJ, in charge of this country's justice system?  --justice for whom?  It's pretty clear to me the answer to this question.  If you feel you want to resort to calling me a rascist because I am bringing up the facts, just to make yourself  feel better, be my guest.  But before you do, could you do one thing for me?   Take a look in the mirror and see if you can find that big logjam lodged between your own two eyes.  Because if you can't see it,  you can't fix it and you'll undoubtedly continue to wreak havoc on the rest of us, all the while sucking us dry while refusing to admit you've got some very serious problems of your own that need to be addressed and resolved.  Problems that nobody else created but you and you alone.  Then ask yourself who is really rascist?  Is it the ones who go about their daily lives just trying to earn a living, pay their bills and keep their family together?  Who don't take to the streets in order to openly engage, openly enrage because they're too busy making a living?  Or the ones who openly advocate anarchy in the guise of a rascist verdict, thus fueling anger and humiliation because one of their own was found to be a guilty of not giving a shit about anything or anybody other than  himself?  Because the verdict didn't go the way you wanted, even though you presented a witness no one could understand, subjected all of us to watching two prosecuting attorneys nauseatingly proselytizing themselves before God and country and a judge who did everything she could to sway the jury?  Quit using the rest of us as your own personal scape goat.  Quit blaming the rest of us for your own decisions, your own circumstances and start taking responsibility for your own actions, your own communities, your own decisions, your own families, your own lives.  And quit calling the rest of us rascist because you've made the decision to let others constantly think for you.  Just like the Pied Piper of Hamlin with all those drones marching in lockstep behind him...eventually they all wound up agreeing to drown together in a nearby river.  Hey, he didn't do this to them...they did.  All because they didn't bother to question, didn't bother to ask just where they were going, didn't think to ask who was leading them (motive) and why they were marching in the first place.  He deceived all of them into thinking something else entirely.   And, how did that collective decision work out for them?  Not very well, as I recall.

All for One and One for All

I'm finally breaking free.  I'm finally going to be me.  I feel like I'm pushing through a crust.  I feel like the exoskeleton that I've been wearing for so long is finally breaking away and slowly being discarded.  It's making cracking sounds as a new life form emerges (like a baby making its way down the birth canal, or the caterpillar exiting its cocoon) and entering the world for the very first time.  The exoskeleton that has protected the old life form is giving way, crumbling away, as its no longer of any use, no longer needed.  This all encompassing feeling is stirring up from the very depths of my being.  I am very much aware of it.  It is as if it is behaving of its own accord.  Like the wind continuing to playfully tousle your hair when you're trying to keep it all straight; walking face first into a spider's web; the soft summer rain splattering all over, moistening your upturned face as your mouth tries to catch each drop; watching a slow motion video of a fragrant, dark red rose as she  slowly reveals her true inner self, enigmatic and throaty, one petal at a time.  Sitting under a blanket of a trillion stars, keeping count of the ones that shoot across the sky.  The feeling is you've finally  arrived at predetermined destination and are now, for the first time in this incarnation, starting to feel alive.  Your perception has changed.  You're able to see the same old things through new eyes. I love animals, I love babies, toddlers, those whom we call Down Syndrone Children, those who are pure in heart, because these beings are closest to the Creator.  Their souls haven't been tainted yet.  They know no prejudice as they have not learned to be prejudiced; they have no hate as they have not been taught to hate; they know only the warmth of loving arms and a pat on the head.  They know no fear as they have not yet experienced fear.  I believe that we're just now beginning to catch on to the fact that there is a different way of living out our lives on this planet.  That we humans have within us the capability and capacity to make this place we call home (Earth) a better place for all.  As a species we are being awakened (are awakening) to a new understanding of who and why we are here.  This awakening is going to impact and encompass each and every one of us, whether we want it to or not.  It's coming irregardless of how much we cling to the old ways; it's coming irregardless of how much the old guard attempts to stifle and thwart it.  This new way that's coming is for the good of all not just a select few.  And seeing that each individual counts as one and that one turns into all, the all becomes the One.

soule:  I, quite frankly, do not know how much more time I have to freely upload information on this blog without some type of government interference (or other(s).  I feel that my own government has gotten way too big, way too intrusive and way too authoritative.  We are turning into a totalitarian state, under the watchful eye of Big Brother.  Under the Obama administration our rights, as free men and women, are being dismissed at an alarming rate.  The United States was once a beacon and bulwark of liberty and freedom.  I don't believe this to be the case anymore.  It is becoming quite clear that those in power are doing everything they can to circumvent, cut off or deny completely, our God-given rights as free men and women.  People yearn to be free.  Free from government oversight.  Free from regulations.  Free to do their own thing, as long as it does not infringe on others.  This yearning to be free, cutting the chains and shackles of oppression and control, is happening all over the world.  Human Beings are coming together in unity.  I am sick to death of those in power just wantonly mowing people down in the streets; pushing people around; using excessive force; clubbing and hitting those who only want to be left alone.  Here in the United States our police forces are becoming more militarized with grants from the Department of Homeland Security, et. al., so they can buy military style uniforms and hardware.  Then they go out and kill a man's dog when all he was doing was filming the police.  People are gathering together all over the world to protest their governments and ask for redress of grievances; to fight for what is naturally theirs.  The pursuit of life, liberty and happiness is an inherent goal of all human beings.  But, there is a huge concerted and coordinated effort to take these away.  If you do not fight but look the other way when others are having their rights stripped from them, then what makes you think it won't happen to you?  This is not a Singularity we are witnessing but a Collective DOS movement taking place.  And, we're being tested.  You're either for standing up and fighting for what is rightfully yours or you are not.  It's that simple. We still have time to turn things around but time is running out.  The question you have to ask yourself now is this, "which side am I on?" 

Shame

This morning, before I awoke, I felt shame.  It permeated every fiber of my body.  I couldn't shake it off even when I was brushing my teeth, combing my hair and walking downstairs for my morning cup of Joe.  I actually had the gut feeling that I was experiencing this because, somewhere, there was an embedded message that needed to be shared.  Have you ever experienced shame?  I've experienced deep shame before, as the result of my actions and choices.  But this time the shame I felt was somehow different.  It was as if someone had laid a blanket of shame over me.  It was not coming from within, from something I had done.  And I had the distinct impression that I was experiencing this because someone wanted me to share my experience.  When you look at the world and what is going on today, is part of the problem because we do not know how to, nor want to, experience shame or remorse for our actions?  It seems we put our egos before everything else.  Therefore, the good in us suffers and is stifled along with the bonds we have with friends, family and relationships.  Everything suffers.  It doesn't matter your status in life...whether you're the CEO of a big corporation or a poor dirt farmer.  We are not immune to shame.  But when we consciously ignore this feeling in favor of our egos, to hell with the consequences, then we have a recipe for disaster.  Shame is a way of keeping us in check.  Too bad our leaders haven't gotten the message.

The unanimous Declaration of the thirteen united States of America,
When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

Nor have We been wanting in attentions to our Brittish brethren. We have warned them from time to time of attempts by their legislature to extend an unwarrantable jurisdiction over us. We have reminded them of the circumstances of our emigration and settlement here.
