soule: How much more damage will we Americans allow this administration to get away with? When we wake up one cold Winter morning and find that our kitchen cabinets are completely empty, because the local grocery stores have all closed down because the trucking companies have gone under, that we have no gas or oil to heat our homes, because we didn't "drill here, drill now", and we frantically open our wallets and look at our bank accounts and find out that there is no more money? Or quite possibly could we find ourselves imprisoned behind a barbed wire fence because we dared speak out in defiance of what we see this President and his administration doing? Wake up folks. This is not a dream, this is a real possibility. You know when you see the signs that something is wrong, it generally is. Mr. Obama and his administration are on a one-way mission - the utter destruction of this country.
SAY IT LIKE IT IS.
So, I did.
Listen to the people who have lived under tyranny. People from the former Soviet Union, Poland, Cuba, the Czech Republic, et. al. They came here to escape from exactly what this administration is now trying to do to us.
Do you for one moment think that this country can remain a strong and free nation if we embrace Mr. Obama's Marxist/Totalitarian Change that he touted on the campaign trail?
We need to speak up, get involved in stopping this dark descent into hell and most importantly, for G-d Sake, get out and vote. And this time, let's do it right.
We have a decision to make. Submit to Obamaism or remain a free people, a free nation. We can't have it both ways.
Someone wins, someone loses. It's up to us.

"In Absentia"
Forget the Travel Channel. All we need do is turn on the T.V. and there is President Obama, sauntering across the White House lawn, waving another fond adieu to the viewers, as he boards the "people's" helicopter for Andrews AFB, Maryland. Ah, to be whisked away again to another exotic country where the President is far from the "maddening crowd"...who just happen to be a bunch of ticked-off Americans. And forget his Presidential duties, who are taking second place to lunching with a bunch of charlatans chatting Climate Change, bowing to Saudi Princes and apologizing time and again for how "bad" this country is. It must be great to wine and dine and be wined and dined by some of the world's greatest. And all the while, being taken for a dullard. Of course the President doesn't know this, he's too busy enjoying the limelight. Ah, the great Mantra, HOPE and CHANGE...well his HOPE and CHANGE has spent America into oblivion and like a kid with his hand stuck in the candy jar, the President just can't stop, so now we all must kneel at the altar of Stealth Care, and watch as the President and his thugs pound the last nail in our coffin. While the President was away, enjoying sunny Hawaii, we had another Jihadist attempting to blow up an airliner with 300 people on board. President Obama, fawning, in his customary "no big deal way," spoke to the nation (yeah right he had to say something) and used the word "alleged" this and "alleged" that. Is this guy nuts? No, he's speaking the way he believes. Frightening. We are the nuts because we actually fell for his HOPE and CHANGE. But, on the brighter side, at the rate he and Congress are going, I would suggest that President Obama and the Democrats start burying their own nuts as I see a really big change coming and boy am I hoping.

Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano came in for some well-deserved criticism for declaring over the weekend that "the system worked" with respect to Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab's effort to blow up the plane he was flying from Amsterdam to Detroit. By Monday, she was backpedalling, acknowledging that "our system did not work in this instance." In truth, for a lot of Americans, Ms. Napolitano has not had much credibility since she tried to ban "terrorism" from the official lexicon of her department. But arguably the most serious indication that she is wholly ill-equipped to carry out her present responsibilities can be found in another - as yet uncorrected - statement she made on Sunday. She told CNN's "State of the Union" that, "Right now, we have no indication [that Abdulmutallab's actions were] part of anything larger." Not "part of anything larger"? Is she serious? Does she take us for fools? Read my lips, Secretary Napolitano: Abdulmutallab's actions were absolutely, positively part of something larger. What they were part of is the comprehensive theo-political-legal program that authoritative Islam calls Shariah.
This supremacist program requires its adherents to engage in jihad, or holy war, to bring about the triumph of Islam under a global theocracy, one that will impose Shariah on Muslims and non-Muslims alike. Pursuant to Shariah, jihad should - wherever practicable - be pursued through the terrifying use of violence. Where violent jihad is impractical or would be counterproductive, Shariah directs faithful Muslims to use other means to advance the same goal. Koran expert Robert Spencer calls the latter "stealth jihad." The question must be asked: Are we seeing a dramatic increase in violent jihadism in America - National Public Radio reported on Saturday that there had been fourteen attempts in 2009 (compared to two or three in recent years) and that they had been increasingly "operational" in character, not just "aspirational" - because violence is now seen to be practicable here? Specifically, could it be that jihadists have been emboldened by what they see as weakness and/or fecklessness on the part of the U.S. administration? Could steps Team Obama has taken - such as the closure of Guantanamo Bay, the release of some hardened terrorists held there to Yemen (where Abdulmuttalab claims he got his plastic explosive device), granting others access to civilian courts and constitutional rights, etc. - actually be emboldening them to believe that murder and mayhem will accelerate the defeat and conquest of the infidel West? The U.S. government was warned by Abdulmutallab's father at least two months ago that his son had been "radicalized" - in other words, that he had embraced Shariah. That being the case, he was transformed from being one of the hundreds of millions of Muslims around the world who are not a problem into one of those who are. In the wake of the latest, narrowly averted massacre at the hands of jihadists, we are being promised executive branch reviews of the practice that, in the wake of his father's warning, put Abdulmuttalab on the improbably named Terrorist Identities Datamart Environment (TIDE) database - but did not revoke his multiple entry U.S. visa or otherwise keep him from flying. Multiple congressional investigations will be launched, as well. Such reviews will, however, amount to little more than a waste of time and taxpayer resources - and possibly a serious distraction - if they do not address, and henceforth require screening for, the motivation for such attacks. It is absurd to think that "the system" is going to do anything other than exponentially increase the amount of discomfort for airline passengers as long as it does not weed out those who embrace as an article of faith their duty to destroy us.
We need to be equally clear about the menace posed by those who adhere to Shariah but profess to seek to "Islamicize" America through non-violent means. In the wake of the recent actual and averted attacks, the press has, for example, trumpeted the views of parents of five jihadists from Northern Virginia, imams at mosques where they worshipped and prominent fixtures in the various Muslim Brotherhood front organizations. Unsurprisingly, all of them profess shock - shock! - that these young people would want to do as they have been taught to, pursuant to Shariah: namely, follow the way of jihad against the Dar al-Harb (the "House of War" that is the non-Muslim world). Nowhere in these disinformation operations is any mention made of the Muslim Brotherhood's self-declared mission in America. According to an internal Brotherhood strategic plan dating from 1991, that mission is: "A kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and "sabotaging" its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and Allah's religion is made victorious over all other religions." As long as Janet Napolitano, Attorney General Eric Holder, the intelligence community, law enforcement, the military, the media and most especially President Obama refuse to acknowledge what animates our enemies, we will never develop an effective strategy for defeating them, let alone successfully implement it. Part and parcel of achieving such an understanding is to stop allowing the stealth jihadists in our midst to blind us to this reality.

The astounding clarity and depth with which this gentleman has written about the inept nature of our own United States foreign policy decision makers is truly alarming. It simply appears we do not have any or maybe our leaders have simply put the blinders on? In any case, their actions/nonactions have left us in a very precarious situation.

"The Boston Tea Party, 1773," EyeWitness to History

It was December 16, 1773,
George Hewes was a member of the band of "Indians" that boarded the tea ships that evening. His recollection of the event was published some years later. We join his story as the group makes its way to the tea-laden ships:
"It was now evening, and I immediately dressed myself in the costume of an Indian, equipped with a small hatchet, which I and my associates denominated the tomahawk, with which, and a club, after having painted my face and hands with coal dust in the shop of a blacksmith, I repaired to Griffin's wharf, where the ships lay that contained the tea. When I first appeared in the street after being thus disguised, I fell in with many who were dressed, equipped and painted as I was, and who fell in with me and marched in order to the place of our destination.
When we arrived at the wharf, there were three of our number who assumed an authority to direct our operations, to which we readily submitted. They divided us into three parties, for the purpose of boarding the three ships which contained the tea at the same time. The name of him who commanded the division to which I was assigned was Leonard Pitt. The names of the other commanders I never knew. We were immediately ordered by the respective commanders to board all the ships at the same time, which we promptly obeyed. The commander of the division to which I belonged, as soon as we were on board the ship, appointed me boatswain, and ordered me to go to the captain and demand of him the keys to the hatches and a dozen candles. I made the demand accordingly, and the captain promptly replied, and delivered the articles; but requested me at the same time to do no damage to the ship or rigging. We then were ordered by our commander to open the hatches and take out all the chests of tea and throw them overboard, and we immediately proceeded to execute his orders, first cutting and splitting the chests with our tomahawks, so as thoroughly to expose them to the effects of the water.
In about three hours from the time we went on board, we had thus broken and thrown overboard every tea chest to be found in the ship, while those in the other ships were disposing of the tea in the same way, at the same time. We were surrounded by British armed ships, but no attempt was made to resist us.
...The next morning, after we had cleared the ships of the tea, it was discovered that very considerable quantities of it were floating upon the surface of the water; and to prevent the possibility of any of its being saved for use, a number of small boats were manned by sailors and citizens, who rowed them into those parts of the harbor wherever the tea was visible, and by beating it with oars and paddles so thoroughly drenched it as to render its entire destruction inevitable."

Letter from a Young Man Just Before the American Revolutionary War....
"It's been another long and arduous day," he wearily thought, as he sat at his desk, with head in hands, staring out the kitchen window. The young man, with tattered cream colored shirt and stockings to match, and grey blue breeches, rubbed his legs together, trying to keep warm. The heavy glass panes were covered in frost and the cold winter air emanated off the panes, swirling around him. He blew on his mittened hands and watched his breath crystalize into a white vapor. Just a short distance away a wooden split rail fence criss crossed back and forth, marking the long winding road into town. The road was lined with majestic tall oaks. But now it was getting late in the day. The sun was barely to be seen, just a brilliant white starry light here and there, moving slowly among the branches of the furry pines and peeking out, every so often. Snowflakes were making their way through the air, settling softly on the many oak leaves that covered the grass. Soon it would be time to light the lamps. His soft brown hair askew, he had hastily pulled it back with a dirty piece of linen. As he lowered his head to continue writing, a small lock of it dangled in front of his eyes. Patiently he pushed it back and, shivering, took to writing once more. "My Dear and Most Consummate Friends, as you well know my beloved wife and companion of many years, hath passed away. It was not without warning, as she hath lain ill for many days. Our youngest, Todd, hath not taken kindly to this circumstance. I hath found him on more than one occasion, not wanting me to comfort him. Instead, he hath pushed me aside. My other two, Emily and Dottie, are coping as best they know how and, I am certain, in their own way. I hope this will not linger much longer, as I am growing very weary. But I believe that the good Lord hath His own timetable and, therefore, I must be stout not only for my children but for other reasons, as all of us painfully know all too well. May God help me with my own grief and that of my children. As to our meeting the other eve, it meant much to me to be with friends, all of whom it seems are in very calamitous situations, and anguish, and broken-hearted as to what they see befalling their country. It appears that God Almighty hath turned on us and wrested what little we did have, from us. Sometimes I am faint of heart. Sometimes I hath even doubted as to how this situation we find ourselves in, can be remedied. I am ashamed to say that I hath even argued with and lashed out at Him and then in a drunken stupor, fallen to my bed in such a frightful stage, unable even to comfort or be comforted, all the while trying to keep my sobbing quiet so that my children do not hear my mournful dirges. Yet when morn awakes me, I am somehow different....I somehow feel stronger, more resolute, more direct in my being and in my heart. But, Lord I ask You, how much more? How much more shall Thee place upon us? Were it not for you--my companions, there would be much more despairing. So much so I could not last but one more day. Did we bring this upheaval upon ourselves? Did we do something to God to awaken the Almighty's anger against His Creation? My head is throbbing with many a question, yet no answer comes. I believe they will, in time. At our last meeting we at least laid out some topics for discourse and the recourses before us and agreed to certain things. We shook hands and there was a bit of uplifting of spirit there among us. I felt we did indeed make progress. We hath certainly met on many an occasion, and some close to a ruinous situation what with the British spies and their troops nearby! But last eve I felt a true spirit of kinship with thee Brethren, that we had truly become a "Band of Brothers." Brothers All united in spirit and with one belief....to see that This Tyrant King and his feudal lords no longer are able to do as they wish, when they wish. To assail us at every occasion! To steal our livestock, raze our fields, despoil our women, kidnap our young men, enslave them and sail them off to England to be put on trial, kill and tax us into oblivion. Enough. The chains of bondage hath never felt so binding. They are strangling us. We must not let this go on any longer. We CANNOT let this go on. I know that there are others who are meeting, just as we, in hidden locations, reflecting on what they are seeing happening all around them. I know because I hath met with them and they all feel the same. Yet one question they raise which I believe must be pondered very deeply......What price liberty? What price freedom? What price are we willing to pay to dislodge this despot and his minions and remove this tyrant's yoke from around our necks? When I look at my children and see fear in their eyes and their hollow looks, as our food supply is wearing very thin, I think of my deceased wife, and her very last words to me.....'you must not give up, you will find a way, all you need do is bow down on your knees and to Him you must pray. After deep reflection, I believe we hath our solution. The answers we seek do not always come when we want them too. But if we continue to be forthright, stout of heart and earnestly seek Him, then they WILL come, and none too soon".

Is Obamacare Constitutional?
A reporter recently asked House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D–CA) where in the Constitution Congress is given the authority to force Americans to buy health insurance, she responded, "Are you serious? Are you serious?" Responding to a follow-up question to this non-answer, Pelosi's press secretary said, "That is not a serious question."
We think otherwise at The Heritage Foundation. So should all Americans who value the liberties which our Constitution protects. And once the mandate question is thoroughly examined through the lens of the Constitution's original meaning, the answer is inescapable: it is not constitutional.
"For those with a traditional understanding of the Constitution as a charter of liberty (as opposed to the 'living version'), the list of Congress' powers in Article I, Section 8, grants it no authority to require any such thing, "writes Heritage expert Bob Moffit. To defend their unprecedented expansion of federal power, Obamacare's proponents rely upon excessively broad interpretations of Congress' powers -- namely the powers to regulate interstate commerce and impose taxes.
Commerce and taxing power don't support mandate
In a recent legal memorandum, Heritage legal scholar Todd Gaziano, joined by Georgetown law professor Randy Barnett and Nathaniel Stewart, LLP, argues that the individual mandate is both unconstitutional and unprecedented.
Neither the power to regulate commerce nor the power to impose taxes grants Congress the power, they write, to "mandate that an individual enter into a contract with a private party or purchase a good or service and…no decision or present doctrine of the Supreme Court justifies such a claim of power."
Though many on the Left overlooked it, the nonpartisan Congressional Research Service even recognized the constitutional obstacles to the individual mandate:
Whether such [an individual mandate] requirement would be constitutional under the Commerce Clause is perhaps the most challenging question posed by such a proposal, as it is a novel issue whether Congress may use this clause to require an individual to purchase a good or a service.
The Supreme Court has long held that there are limits to Congress' power under the Commerce Clause. An individual mandate would require stretching these limits. Although this has been done in the past, "the current Supreme Court is unlikely to stretch the commerce power further than it already has," explain Gaziano, Barnett and Stewart.
Congress' power to "lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defense and general Welfare of the United States...." also does not validate an individual mandate. The Constitution requires that a tax be apportioned on the basis of the census population, and not vary based upon factors such as the financial condition of the state's residents. Is Obamacare Constitutional?
A reporter recently asked House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D–CA) where in the Constitution Congress is given the authority to force Americans to buy health insurance, she responded, "Are you serious? Are you serious?" Responding to a follow-up question to this non-answer, Pelosi's press secretary said, "That is not a serious question."
We think otherwise at The Heritage Foundation. So should all Americans who value the liberties which our Constitution protects. And once the mandate question is thoroughly examined through the lens of the Constitution's original meaning, the answer is inescapable: it is not constitutional.
"For those with a traditional understanding of the Constitution as a charter of liberty (as opposed to the 'living version'), the list of Congress' powers in Article I, Section 8, grants it no authority to require any such thing, "writes Heritage expert Bob Moffit. To defend their unprecedented expansion of federal power, Obamacare's proponents rely upon excessively broad interpretations of Congress' powers -- namely the powers to regulate interstate commerce and impose taxes.
Commerce and taxing power don't support mandate
In a recent legal memorandum, Heritage legal scholar Todd Gaziano, joined by Georgetown law professor Randy Barnett and Nathaniel Stewart, LLP, argues that the individual mandate is both unconstitutional and unprecedented.
Neither the power to regulate commerce nor the power to impose taxes grants Congress the power, they write, to "mandate that an individual enter into a contract with a private party or purchase a good or service and…no decision or present doctrine of the Supreme Court justifies such a claim of power."
Though many on the Left overlooked it, the nonpartisan Congressional Research Service even recognized the constitutional obstacles to the individual mandate:
Whether such [an individual mandate] requirement would be constitutional under the Commerce Clause is perhaps the most challenging question posed by such a proposal, as it is a novel issue whether Congress may use this clause to require an individual to purchase a good or a service.
The Supreme Court has long held that there are limits to Congress' power under the Commerce Clause. An individual mandate would require stretching these limits. Although this has been done in the past, "the current Supreme Court is unlikely to stretch the commerce power further than it already has," explain Gaziano, Barnett and Stewart.
Congress' power to "lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defense and general Welfare of the United States...." also does not validate an individual mandate. The Constitution requires that a tax be apportioned on the basis of the census population, and not vary based upon factors such as the financial condition of the state's residents. Yes We Can
I long for the past, I guess I'm just getting old. The normal, familiar, the sweet fairy tales told. A small round child's table with four little chairs, there's Beatrice and Clarence and brown Teddy Bear. We sit in a circle, not one voice is heard as we sip Ginger Tea and enjoy whey and sweet curds. But then Teddy speaks, his voice is real low. His brown eyes well up and the tears start to flow. "What happened to goodness and hu-mility? What happened to conscience and credibility? What happened to love and compassion and such? Where did it go? Is it stuck in the muck?" Then Beatrice chimed in, her red hair aglow, she looked at us all as she picked at her bow. "It's here, all around us, it's not gone away. We only need waken it so it won't from us stray." Clarence, with glasses atop of his nose, chose his words carefully, he was a "Poet of Prose." "I see it this way, we all have a role, to fight the good fight with body and soul. We are all up against a most formidable force, one that is Evil, the head of its source. Reach out with your hand, reach out with your heart, your wallet, your home, refer to your charts. And love we need make no longer "lost art." He balled up his fist and the small table jumped. He surprised all of us by the depth of his thump. And then he grew silent, fell back in his chair. No longer poetic, his face was blank stare. The sun drew her lines on red checkered cloth. The small lacy curtains stirred slow back and forth. We all knew the answers they were staring at us. We gathered our courage, our strength and our must. We decided that Teddy would lead the small band. So together the four of us linked hand in hand. And we strode out of that small room and into the Light, where demons and goblins and beasts fear to bite. We stood in a circle and vowed that we would, do all that was needed, all that we could. To make this world better for everyone here. To do what was right and not turn to fear. With G-d as our leader and listening to Him, we could all make a difference through thick and through thin. We looked at each other and what faces there were! Beatrice and Clarence and of course Teddy Bear. And for me, I was happy, the happiest I've been. For we all had one purpose and our purpose was Him.

9. Don't take guilt trips.. Take a trip to the mall, even to the next county; to a foreign country but NOT to where the guilt is.

A Time to Rejoice
Thanks to G-d's Wisdom and the men who recognized and acted upon it, this country was founded. Not an easy task, but one fraught with many problems, uncertainty and danger. Yet, after much heavy thought and debate, they willingly took that chance, after having suffered aggregiously at the hands of an English Despot for many a year. "Enough is Enough," they agreed in unison. "We shall no longer tolerate, allow, or permit any more suffering under his oppression, his ruthlessness, his economic tyranny. We shall, this very day, take matters into our own hands. We shall draft a Constitution of these United States, a Declaration of Independence...a severing of the heartless bondage to which we have been mercillessly yoked, and subjected to hardship and toil year after year. No longer will we be called "British Subjects" but Americans and this new nation will be called The United States of America". With little specks of dust suspended in the still air, and these courageous men standing nearby, the sunlight was fading faster and faster. Heavy, dark blue drapes gently slouched on the planked floor as each Founder gathered round the table on which a precious piece of parchment lay. Previous to this meeting they had met, they had gathered, they had talked, they had prayed, they had argued, they had, at last, laid the entire matter at G-d's doorstep. Each man earnestly, and with firm determination etched in the furrows of his brow, steadily took the quill in hand, and with no hesitation, eloquently signed his name, thus breaking the Olde and giving way to the New--breathing new life into a new nation.
We as that nation and that people have so much to be Thankful for. So many things we take for granted. Walking the aisles of a nearby grocery store, our eyes search for that special something to satisfy a "sweet tooth." Milk, butter, eggs, fresh fruit, veggies, meats, and so many other items, all brought to us, courtesy of this nation's "Producers." Not the consumers, the Producers. For without them their wouldn't be any "consummerism" goin on. Dairy Farmers, Livestock Producers, Store Owners, Poultry Farmers, Grain Farmers, Vegetable and Fruit growers, Manufacturers, Automobile workers, Bakers, Candlestick makers, etc. And a great big thank you to the truckers who tirelessly traverse from East to West picking up these goods for us to enjoy. For without our transportation system we wouldn't be eating, or picking out that nice tie, prom dress, refrigerator/freezer or wide screen t.v. There are many, many others who complete the circle and their contributions and sacrifices are so appreciated and never ending...Law Enforcement, Fire Fighters, Educators, Priests, Pastors, Rabbis, and of course, our military, who choose to "put their lives on hold" for us as they go off to fight to keep us and this nation free. A special thank you to the parents with children who so lovingly tend to them day in and day out. Thank you to our Seniors who have given so much for this country. Thank you...Doctors, Nurses, Hospitals, Hospices, Nursing Homes, for the care you give our sick and elderly. All of these things happen because we are a free people, a caring people, and a free society. Our way of doing business has some flaws, yes, but our free enterprise system, limited government, libertarianism, in which we are free to pursue our own happiness without having to watch behind our backs, entrepreneurism which creates jobs and enables so many leaps in technology, and other wonders that propel man further and further to maybe, hopefully, one common goal>Peace for All Mankind is something to cherish, protect and fight for. Thank You America, Thank You Americans, for without your enterprising and inspiring spirit none of us would be sitting down this Thanksgiving to a sumptiously stuffed turkey, a sweetly glazed ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet potatoes smothered in brown sugar and mini marshmallows, cranberry sauce, Mincemeat Pie and Pumpkin Pie. Thank you all for our freedoms which we enjoy so bountifully at this time of year. Liberty, Freedom and Justice For All. Let's keep fighting for these blessings because, as our Founders knew (very up close and personal) and all too painfully, in the blink of an eye these blessings can be wiped out by another Tyrannical Despot if we don't mind the store. Blessings to you all and a Very Happy Thanksgiving.

We Still Have Time, But How Much?

But Where can Wisdom be found; where is the source of understanding? When He fixed the weight of the winds, set the measure of the waters; When He made a rule for the rain and a course for the thunderstorms, then He saw it and gauged it; He measured it and probed it. The lofty mountains raise their heads behind Him as the once fertile valley sprawls endlessly below, in futility, as she cries for fruition. But her breadbasket is empty. His ears catch the sounds of small whimpers, dying notes... softly, soulfully, they quickly fade away. He follows them to their source. The sight is overwhelming. Tiny corpses, discarded like empty milk cartons, hollow vessels, litter the field. He stops, makes an entry in His Journal and moves on. "Even though I AM THAT I AM even I am having difficulty dealing with man's ignorance and the magnitude of his evil inclinations. How long am I to allow this to continue? Human on Human atrocities and other corruptions have filled up the pages of My Holy Journal: Defiling of My Holy Name; Worshipping False Idols; Lewdness; Perversion; Depravity; Murder; Selfishness; Greed; Power; Arrogance, until their numbers spill over. Man has willfully disobeyed and corrupted My Laws I set forth for Him since the Beginning. I am a patient G-d but Man's Evil proclivity is wearing thin and his time is running out". The Old Farmer
A bus load of politicians was driving down a country road when all of a sudden the bus ran off the road and crashed into a tree in an old farmer's field. The old farmer, after seeing what happened, went over to investigate. He then proceeded to dig a hole to bury the politicians. A few days later the local sheriff came out, saw the crashed bus, and asked the old farmer where all the politicians had gone. The old farmer said he had buried them. The sheriff asked the old farmer, "Were they all dead?" The old farmer replied, "Well some of them said they weren't, but you know how those bastards lie."

Poll after poll indicates that official Washington is held in very low regard by the American people. One reason is that our leaders are seen as out of touch with the realities confronting ordinary folks - and with what those folks' common sense suggests are appropriate responses to such realities.
There could scarcely be a more graphic example of that disconnect - and its ominous implications - than the contortions the U.S. government is now going through in the wake of the murder of 13 people and the wounding of dozens more at Fort Hood last week. For example, the FBI declared immediately after the attack that it was not an act of terrorism. Other officials are promoting the idea that it is simply a case of an individual afflicted by post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) or deranged by the prospect of an upcoming deployment to a war zone. President Obama insists that we should reserve judgment, evidently because the facts are open to varying interpretations.
Such statements are an affront to most Americans' intelligence which commonsensically applies a prosaic form of the scientific method: They look for the explanation that best fits the facts. The facts - which are becoming ever more numerous by the day - are that the alleged perpetrator of these crimes, Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan, is "a devout Muslim" who, as such, has had to follow at least since 2001 the dictates of the theo-political-legal and seditious program that authoritative Islam calls Shariah. One of those dictates is that the faithful must engage in jihad, or holy war, to achieve the submission of unbelievers to Islam.
Consider the following, partial but illustrative listing of behavior that speak to Hasan's dangerous proclivities:
During his posting in the Washington area, Hasan attended one of the most virulently Shariah-adherent mosques in America, Fairfax County's Dar al-Hijrah Islamic Center. He publicly expressed admiration for its one-time imam, Anwar Al-Awlaki - an exponent of jihad associated with two of the perpetrators of the 9/11 attacks.
Hasan repeatedly tried to proselytize his psychiatric patients - many of whom genuinely did have PTSD - to convert to Islam, prompting complaints from a number of those he was treating.
He apparently authored blog postings that favorably depicted suicide bombings who go to their heavenly virgins shouting "Allahu Akhbar!"
According to the New York Times, "about a year ago" in the course of his work towards a masters degree at the military's health sciences university, Hasan "gave a Power Point presentation...titled ‘Why the War on Terror is a War on Islam.'" The London Telegraph reports he "even told classmates that Islamic law trumped the U.S. Constitution."
Hasan gave away his belongings immediately before the shootings, saying to one recipient "I am going away" - an act of charitable form of cleansing consistent with Shariah's injunctions to would-be shaheeds (martyrs).
The New York Times also reports that, in the words of a friend, the night before the shootings, Hasan felt he should quit the military because, "In the Koran, you're not supposed to have alliances with Jews or Christian or others, and if you are killed in the military fighting against Muslims, you will go to hell."
As troubling as these indications of Maj. Hasan's embrace of Shariah are, even more alarming is the inaction of the Army in the face of those of which it was informed. Retired Lieutenant Colonel Ralph Peters scorched the Army's leadership in a New York Post column last Friday saying: "For the first time since I joined the Army in 1976, I'm ashamed of its dereliction of duty. The chain of command protected a budding terrorist who was waving one red flag after another. Because it was safer for careers than doing something about him."
What is really frightening, though, is the prospect that our civilian and military leaders may think it "safer for their careers" to persist in the politically correct, but mendacious, contention that there is no link between murderous actions like Hasan's and adherence to authoritative Islam's Shariah program. That is the line of the Muslim Brotherhood - an organization sworn to "the destruction of Western civilization from within." It is not the truth, however.
If the U.S. government cannot come to grips with the reality that authoritative Islam is rooted in Shariah, that Shariah demands its adherents engage in supremacist jihad, and that jihad is - pursuant to Shariah - intended to inflict terror on its victims, it will be wholly unable to defeat an enemy bent on its destruction. And official Washington will only further alienate the American people who have the eminent sense to appreciate that, while not all Muslims (in or out of uniform) embrace Shariah and its obligation to wage jihad, those that do are our mortal enemies. The latter have no more business in our military than does their program in our country.
Sen. Joe Lieberman has the right idea. Announcing on "Fox News Sunday" that he would launch an investigation in the Senate Homeland Security Committee, the Senator declared that, "If Hasan was showing signs, saying to people that he had become an Islamist extremist, the U.S. Army has to have zero tolerance. He should have been gone." Under those circumstances, the least the Army can do is ensure that his victims - both those who now are gone and those wounded in his attacks - receive Purple Hearts for the losses they incurred at the hands of the enemy.

Political Correctness - It's Killing Us

America is still mourning the murders of 13 soldiers at Fort Hood in what can only be characterized as a vicious slaughter by a jihadist terrorist, an attack incubated and nurtured by an irrational pandemic of political correctness.
I know no one else is putting it quite like this. I know I will be flamed for introducing politics into this terrible tragedy. But sick and twisted politics is what led to this massacre, and somebody has to say it. How many times do we need to see man-made disasters like this occur before we recognize we are at war? This is not some game. This is not an enemy that will go away if we turn our backs and pretend it really doesn't exist. This is war – all-out war against Americans and America.
The questions are legion:
How did Nidal Malik Hasan rise to the rank of major in the U.S. Army with his background? I'm not talking about his Muslim faith. I'm talking about his troubled history – the disciplinary record of inappropriate proselytizing, the extremist Internet postings, the statements to comrades about American foreign policy, the mandatory counseling he had to receive because of his behavior. How could he ever have been placed in such a position of authority?
How is it possible that an officer who had expressed such grave misgivings about a deployment to Afghanistan or Iraq have been assigned to such a mission without careful scrutiny?
What kind of screening goes on in the military for security safety risks?
Why was this man chosen to participate in transition plans for the new administration less than a year ago by a major university – particularly on an issue involving homeland security
Why are soldiers on U.S. military bases strictly forbidden to carry firearms – weapons that could have prevented this travesty? If they are to be trusted with firearms to carry out their foreign missions, why not at home to defend themselves like other Americans? Why have military bases, of all places, been turned into virtual gun-free zones?
And how is it possible after so many incidents like this in America are the U.S. media still so obsessed with withholding information and denying terrorism as even a possible motivation?
These are actually dangerous questions to pose in our country today. I will most assuredly be attacked for even asking them. Yet, like them or not, most Americans are clear-thinking enough to know exactly what I am talking about.
I write these words as an Arab-American. I bear no hostility toward people from the Middle East. I bear no hostility to people to are Muslims. However, I do bear hostility – and, I believe, rightly so – to people who want to destroy America or radically alter its form of governance.
Have we lost our senses?
Do we not recognize threats when they are staring us straight in the face?
I pray that the deaths and suffering of the victims at Fort Hood is not in vain. I pray that our nation learns some critical lessons from this tragedy. I pray that we will once again begin using our heads when it comes to matters go grave as our national security and the personal safety of people willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for their country.
Let's get our heads out of the sand.
Let's start confronting our cunning and wily enemy with discernment.
Let's begin using common sense instead of irrational political correctness to make our national policies.
Let's look around soberly at the threats all around us with mission-oriented clear-headedness.
Let's stop playing pretend.

Like They Really "CAIR"
Fort Hood Massacre: A Day of Media Cowardice

The brave soldiers who were massacred at Fort Hood had trained to fight the jihadist enemy abroad. But they seem to have ended up being murdered by the same enemy on American soil, in a place where they thought they were safe -murdered, apparently, because a series of military and medical officials recognized what was going on with this major and chose to do nothing about it. Most of the people in the mainstream media, I suspect, could also see early on exactly what was going on - but to an outrageous degree, they, too, spent Thursday evening doing their best to turn away from the obvious truth. Throughout the evening military and other authorities kept saying, and the talking heads on CNN kept repeating, that there was no sign that this was "a terrorist act"- as if Nidal Malik Hasan had to be officially connected to al-Qaeda to be a jihadist, a pious Muslim who saw the infidel as his enemy. Living in Norway, I get CNN International, which is different from CNN in the U.S., though when major stories are breaking in the U.S. the international network often switches to the U.S. feed for hours at a time. CNN International's sponsors are disproportionately Middle Eastern airlines, tourism authorities, and such; so it was that in between ads for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, for Abu Dhabi tourism, for some art show in Abu Dhabi, and for the Dubai World Championship, not to mention cozy promos for an apparently soft-feature series called Inside the Middle East (presented "in association with Qatar Foundation" ), CNN reporters kept hammering home the line that Hasan had been the victim of anti-Muslim prejudice by his military colleagues. Repeatedly they read out, and showed onscreen, a long statement from the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) condemning the massacre- never mentioning, of course, CAIR's well-established terrorist links.

Unprecedented Times...Unprecedented People
I guess if one wanted to make the comment, "we have always lived in unprecedented times," I don't think you'd get much push back from me. For that's a pretty broad statement that covers just about everything humanity has faced....wars, famines, economic disasters, this group of people wiping out that group of people, and every other bit of nastiness that one could possibly think of. And all these things haven't stopped, they are very much alive today.
From Day 1, The Human Race didn't know what lay ahead, what hardships, what catastrophes, what horrors, or the battles we would face....to overcome, or succumb to. For G-d didn't issue us a crystal ball or special goggles to look through.
Yet he did provide us with a certain sense of "knowing." Maybe it's a relationship that you know you shouldn't even start in the first place (so don't); maybe it's the actions of that next door neighbor who has sent alarm bells going off inside your head so you need to keep a more watchful eye on your kids. Maybe, just maybe, you don't believe the "rosy" picture that we're being force fed by the Federal Reserve and the White House as the Trillions of Dollars and continued spending just don't add up.
So we do have something going for us, after all, if we will just listen. For this little "inner voice" is G-d speaking. He is whispering something to you, He is giving you clues, and a sense of direction...a path to follow.
So back to the subject of "unprecedented" times. From my own personal viewpoint, I think that word is mild compared to what I believe is still coming. For this global financial "hit" which has left no nation unscathed is just a blip on the radar. We still have not hit bottom, here in the United States. We are still in the "baby throes" of the aftershock of government mismanagement, thuggery... of mind-boggling proportions. Of having the rug jerked out from under us by a bunch of characters who now leave an overwhelming stench wherever they go, whenever they speak. Maybe they always had that "stench" it's just that only now have we caught on to it.
For they litter the corn fields like hags, ugly, gaunt scarecrows, arms askew, their dried up matter falling into harrowed rows, scantily clad in some rotten piece of tattered cloth, their straw limbs jerking wildly in the wind, hollow mouths festering away, battered faces staring into no where....falling over, as the wooden stakes they are tied to start giving away.
Well, they've done their job. They've managed to usher in a "new" direction for this country. What direction is that, you ask? It's a direction I would like to see this country not taking. It's a long way from A to Z and we're only in the A's. There is alot of ground to cover before we make landfall. And that, I believe, is going to be some time down the road. In the meantime, forget the "rosy" picture that the Deceivers are spoon feeding us. We can count, thank you. And the numbers don't add up.
We are in for some painfully hard times before we get through all of this. Give you some examples? Okay, if Obamacare passes, we are going to be made to swallow a bitter pill in that what Health Care we relied on before, what worked, is going to be wiped out and replaced with "The Totalitarians' View of What American Healthcare Should Be According to the Totalitarians'". It will be run by the Totalitarians, Policed by the Totalitarians and make no mistake, Enforced by the Totalitarians.
There is legislation being introduced that will monitor and tax our own backyard food production>from the roadside veggie/fruit stands to what you can grow in your own backyard garden. Let's see, how many chickens does Granny own? "Get somebody out there from the government and get a count." Let's see, how many tomato plants is Suzie growing this year? "Get out there and take a count". Doesn't Ole Jim have a milkin cow? "Get out there and take a count". And this legislation is being touted as "protecting the American consumer" from food poisoning. Well, if the U.S. had bothered, some years ago, to label the beef, chicken, etc., grown here, ON AMERICAN SOIL, as American-made, and SAFE, and not co-mingled your hamburger with burger from Mexico, Guatemala, Argentina, etc. then maybe we wouldn't have had so many Salmonella outbreaks. But this is just another example of government's encroachment, digging its claws deeper and deeper into our way of life. And one more example that I'm giving of the change that's coming, that we will most likely have plenty to say about but it certainly appears that no one is listening.
So, now that we've connected some dots....we've been lied to, we know that harder times are coming, what do we do, what can we do?
Well, we use our brains and that "knowing" feeling that's coming through....can we refinance our mortgage? Is it possible to do without that Credit Card and just pay cash? Can we move in with family? How about making a budget and sticking to it? Put off painting the house, buying that new car? Start a garden and make sure you buy Heirloom Seeds as you can collect the seeds and plant them next year. The seeds you buy in Walmart or elsewhere, unless they are marked "Heirloom" you're just throwing away your money, and your seeds.
I know I just talked about the bureaucrats comin out and countin your tomatoes but don't let that stop you from feeding your family as I see higher prices coming at the grocery store, along with higher fuel prices, and/or maybe a shortage of what we're used to buying at the grocery store. Buy some chickens so you'll have some meat and eggs. They are easy to raise just make sure you buy the right variety for where you are living, that's all. And learn how to butcher them, as you may have to.
And most importantly, we need prayer. Prayer is going to be needed like never before. Prayer to help guide us through the unseen, the unknown. Prayer for courage and decision-making. For no matter what lies ahead, we will get through, to the other side, because of what we have. Not what we DO NOT have. For we have our families, our friends, our convictions, our country. We are a strong people with a strong resolve. It just hasn't been tested as of late. But it's coming.
We are One Nation, One People, Under G-d. And no matter what is thrown at us, no matter by whom, no matter what we have to endure, we will prevail not only as One People but as One Country, United Together Like Never Before.
As a Just and Merciful G-d Walks us down the path He has chosen for us, the one where we step neither to the left nor the right, all He asks is we hold onto His hand and follow His light.
From Day 1, The Human Race didn't know what lay ahead, what hardships, what catastrophes, what horrors, or the battles we would face....to overcome, or succumb to. For G-d didn't issue us a crystal ball or special goggles to look through.
Yet he did provide us with a certain sense of "knowing." Maybe it's a relationship that you know you shouldn't even start in the first place (so don't); maybe it's the actions of that next door neighbor who has sent alarm bells going off inside your head so you need to keep a more watchful eye on your kids. Maybe, just maybe, you don't believe the "rosy" picture that we're being force fed by the Federal Reserve and the White House as the Trillions of Dollars and continued spending just don't add up.
So we do have something going for us, after all, if we will just listen. For this little "inner voice" is G-d speaking. He is whispering something to you, He is giving you clues, and a sense of direction...a path to follow.
So back to the subject of "unprecedented" times. From my own personal viewpoint, I think that word is mild compared to what I believe is still coming. For this global financial "hit" which has left no nation unscathed is just a blip on the radar. We still have not hit bottom, here in the United States. We are still in the "baby throes" of the aftershock of government mismanagement, thuggery... of mind-boggling proportions. Of having the rug jerked out from under us by a bunch of characters who now leave an overwhelming stench wherever they go, whenever they speak. Maybe they always had that "stench" it's just that only now have we caught on to it.
For they litter the corn fields like hags, ugly, gaunt scarecrows, arms askew, their dried up matter falling into harrowed rows, scantily clad in some rotten piece of tattered cloth, their straw limbs jerking wildly in the wind, hollow mouths festering away, battered faces staring into no where....falling over, as the wooden stakes they are tied to start giving away.
Well, they've done their job. They've managed to usher in a "new" direction for this country. What direction is that, you ask? It's a direction I would like to see this country not taking. It's a long way from A to Z and we're only in the A's. There is alot of ground to cover before we make landfall. And that, I believe, is going to be some time down the road. In the meantime, forget the "rosy" picture that the Deceivers are spoon feeding us. We can count, thank you. And the numbers don't add up.
We are in for some painfully hard times before we get through all of this. Give you some examples? Okay, if Obamacare passes, we are going to be made to swallow a bitter pill in that what Health Care we relied on before, what worked, is going to be wiped out and replaced with "The Totalitarians' View of What American Healthcare Should Be According to the Totalitarians'". It will be run by the Totalitarians, Policed by the Totalitarians and make no mistake, Enforced by the Totalitarians.
There is legislation being introduced that will monitor and tax our own backyard food production>from the roadside veggie/fruit stands to what you can grow in your own backyard garden. Let's see, how many chickens does Granny own? "Get somebody out there from the government and get a count." Let's see, how many tomato plants is Suzie growing this year? "Get out there and take a count". Doesn't Ole Jim have a milkin cow? "Get out there and take a count". And this legislation is being touted as "protecting the American consumer" from food poisoning. Well, if the U.S. had bothered, some years ago, to label the beef, chicken, etc., grown here, ON AMERICAN SOIL, as American-made, and SAFE, and not co-mingled your hamburger with burger from Mexico, Guatemala, Argentina, etc. then maybe we wouldn't have had so many Salmonella outbreaks. But this is just another example of government's encroachment, digging its claws deeper and deeper into our way of life. And one more example that I'm giving of the change that's coming, that we will most likely have plenty to say about but it certainly appears that no one is listening.
So, now that we've connected some dots....we've been lied to, we know that harder times are coming, what do we do, what can we do?
Well, we use our brains and that "knowing" feeling that's coming through....can we refinance our mortgage? Is it possible to do without that Credit Card and just pay cash? Can we move in with family? How about making a budget and sticking to it? Put off painting the house, buying that new car? Start a garden and make sure you buy Heirloom Seeds as you can collect the seeds and plant them next year. The seeds you buy in Walmart or elsewhere, unless they are marked "Heirloom" you're just throwing away your money, and your seeds.
I know I just talked about the bureaucrats comin out and countin your tomatoes but don't let that stop you from feeding your family as I see higher prices coming at the grocery store, along with higher fuel prices, and/or maybe a shortage of what we're used to buying at the grocery store. Buy some chickens so you'll have some meat and eggs. They are easy to raise just make sure you buy the right variety for where you are living, that's all. And learn how to butcher them, as you may have to.
And most importantly, we need prayer. Prayer is going to be needed like never before. Prayer to help guide us through the unseen, the unknown. Prayer for courage and decision-making. "Stealth" Health
We have the three stooges huddled behind closed doors "debating" our health care future. Why the secrecy? What happened to transparency, reaching across the aisle...D-E-B-A-T-E?
At the rate they're going, with all these "breaking news flashes" concerning where we are with all this mess, I'm unsure if I'll even be around for this legislation to be enacted, my heart is doing so many flipflops.
I am now convinced that sheer, insane lunacy has overtaken the Thralls of Capitol Thrill. These pathetic sorry excuses for "doing the peoples' work" continue to schmooze us with preposterous statements...."Oh, don't worry, Stealth Care isn't going to add one more penny to the deficit--in fact, it will actually decrease the deficit. Medicare won't be affected but wait!!!!...Medicare will be affected but we're unsure just HOW much; Granny won't have to worry about being bumped off by some Bureaucratic Nincompoop (but maybe she should take that Concealed Carry Course after all) just in case. The American people aren't going to pay for abortion; the American people aren't going to be paying for illegal aliens; and on and on and on...Ad Nauseam.
And you don't think we're going to raise YOUR taxes do you? What do you think we are now, a BUNCH OF CROOKS?"
Well at least they answered that one correctly.
This is the biggest power grab in history. With a price tag to match. How much longer do they figure they can go on with spending money they don't have because they already spent it? If my math is right, we're broke now and this will be the "straw that breaks the camel's back".
I'm gagging at what I'm seeing going on.

Where Are Our Spiritual Leaders?
Where are our Priests, Ministers, Rabbis?
A spiritual battle is clearly being waged upon Planet Earth. It has been going on now for centuries, since the Beginning. But is somehow more sharply focused. More and more people are seeing the results that are reaching far wide. The lens on the camera is being tweaked ever so slowly. In this country we just elected a President whose Hope and Change Mantra has resulted in just the opposite...a growing fear and alarm at what has been done/undone in just a few short months. If one hasn't gotten it by now that this country is undergoing a dramatic transformation, and not necessarily a positive one, then maybe one needs to get one's head examined?
Is this all part of a plan? I'm not talking political but spiritual. Okay, I said it. Agree or disagree it makes no difference. For if you say there is good then there is evil.
I'm seeing things happening here in this country, to this country, that I never dreamed I would ever see happening in my lifetime. And yet I know that this is also a "global" thing going on. But yet I live here, not over there. I have to focus on things happening here, all the while knowing that what happens "over there" is also going to affect what happens "here."
Seeing the tsunami of upheaval, turmoil and chaos that has occurred here in America, following the election of President Obama, I have a question...where are our spiritual leaders?
For if ever there was a time when they were needed, THE TIME IS NOW. I remember the painting of our first President, George Washington, humbly kneeling in prayer, his horse patiently waiting nearby, as he earnestly spoke with G-d, during the Revolutionary War, asking for guidance.
Wisdom, Forgiveness, Guidance, Courage, Deliverance....these are the things that are going to get us through the days ahead. I keep getting emails from this Trendsetter, this Financial Guru, this guy, ..."the sky is falling, we're going to have a global economic collapse, America is headed for the worst depression in its history". Then I hear, "the Stock Market is rebounding. From the Fed: We're over the recession. Then another source: Foreclosures are down, the economy is getting stronger, unemployment numbers this week aren't as bad as they were last week".
We all have a brain so let's connect the dots: #1: Thanks to a Fast-Track Congress we are now in debt to the tune of Trillions of dollars which we can't even comprehend much less pay off in this lifetime, the next lifetime, or two or three lifetimes thereafter.
#2: This administrations wants to add another ONE TRILLION DOLLARS MORE OR LESS (HEALTH CARE REFORM) to this debt.
#3: Nothing has been done to create jobs, even though this was all part of the gargantuan spending program put forth by Congress. Jobs are what stimulate the economy; get the engine of Capitalism moving. Then people have the money to buy things like the good little Capitalists we are. This in turn creates more jobs, more opportunities, and we have a vibrant economy. Ain't happenin. I see no jobs being created but I certainly see millions of jobs continuing to be lost.
If you have noticed there has been an all out assault on our religious freedoms here. We can't have nativity scenes in public places anymore; take down the Christian Crosses; no Ten Commandments can be displayed; no school prayer. The Park Service just recently announced that we couldn't even have Christian ornaments on our National Christmas Tree but has since recanted. The Pedophile Protection Act, Senate Bill 909, protects "alternative" lifestyles (Pedophiles, Homosexuals) but will punish any Priest, Rabbi or Minister who dares speak out about these lifestyles. They may even wind up in prison.
So why do I say this is spiritual warfare, because I believe it is. And we need all the ammo we have at our disposal to fight back.
That is why I am appealing to our Spiritual Leaders to come forth and bind us all together, to hold us up, as we're being cast down, to strengthen us as we're losing faith, and to arm us with the Wisdom and the Guidance we need to realize what "IT" (the enemy) is that we are fighting and facing.
It is Good vs. Evil. Simple as that.
And for those who have lost their jobs, their homes, who are down and out, who are just plain fed up, too depressed, too tired to go on, addicted, afflicted, who just don't care anymore, who just do not know what to do or where to turn....please, please, pick yourselves up, just one more time and head to a local church, parish, synagogue, food pantry, Salvation Army, food kitchen, some where you will find nourishment for your body, mind and most importantly your souls. For this is where the real fight begins...with the soul. Strengthen that first and then you'll be ready for anything.
Men of Providence Where Are You? We need you now more then ever as hand in hand we stand, all across this great land, with Torah, Bible, in our hands and maybe even a Koran. Come forth from thy hiding places and show us your Graces, resplendent from G-d, and with a nod, we fall to our knees, all overcome by His blessed Mysteries. We ask for Forgiveness, Wisdom, Courage and Faith all of these things we ask with your Grace. So come forth and show us please show us your face. America is waiting and her people are to, so let's not wait until the shoe other drops too.

Do you get the feeling that something's wrong? That something just isn't right? That maybe we better hunker down, in a bunker for the night? Seven Year Old Sentenced To 45 Days in Reform School
There was this little boy, with a freshly scrubbed face, who even insisted on sporting a spiffy tie, he so looked forward to going to school every day. How old? Seven? He had just become a Cub Scout. So he brought his new handy-dandy emergency tool kit to school. It was made up of a knife and some other devices, maybe a screw driver and other tools that Cub Scouts use on camping trips, etc. He wasn't going to do anyone any harm. He was proud of this honor, this little badge of "manhood." A straight A Honor Roll student. But because of the "slash and burn" techniques used by our public school systems today, in the guise of "protecting all" this little boy was quickly and with no thought given to any psychological repercussions it would have on he and his family...the school singled him out, demonized, punished, and he was given 45 days in a reform school for bringing his Cub Scout knife to school. Now I know about the schools' "no tolerance" policy. Of course that makes sense if you're bringing something to school to harm someone with. But clearly this little boy wasn't going to harm anyone. Could the school not have taken some time considering this before they passed sentence? Have we lost our minds here in the US of A? A resounding yes. I wonder if the school officials now admit they made a big mistake in coming down so hard on this little fellow. Or will they slither by, saying they were just "following company guidelines". Do you think the Principal and the Teacher and the other officials might feel the least little bit of remorse and say well, "we made a mistake here, we're deeply sorry" and release this little boy from his 45 day prison sentence? I think it's time that the parents of this country re-think just who the heck is in charge of their children and make a decision. It's long overdue. The NEA has fallen down on the job of educating our kids for a long long time and now public education has taken a turn for the worse. Its bad enough sending your child off to a building and not seeing them for 8 hours a day, not knowing exactly what's going on within those walls, but when school officials start acting like a bunch of Nazis and sentence a straight A Honor Roll seven year old to 45 days in a "reform school" for carrying a Cub Scout knife to school, it's time for a PARENTS' REVOLUTION. And I have one last question...just who the hell needs to be "reformed" here? It sure isn't this little boy and his family....

If we had been vigilant, kept a steady hand on our ship of state, charted this country's course, we wouldn't have ended up foundering on a jagged pile of rocks. Do we still have time to reset our course? Yes, but it's going to cause each and every one of us who cherish liberty and freedom....effort, work, and pain. Are we up to the task? You bet we are. Because we are AMERICANS. If there's one thing we're good at, it's getting things done. The difficult? This can be handled immediately. The impossible? The only requirement for this is a little more time.

Words to Ponder......
Patriotic Resistance
I have noted that many elected officials, both Democrats and Republicans, called upon America to unite behind Obama.
Well, I want to make it clear to all who will listen that I "AM NOT" uniting behind Obama. However, I promise to give our country the devoted loyalty of a patriot.
I will respect the Office which he holds, and I will acknowledge his abilities as an orator and wordsmith and pray for him, BUT that is it.
I have begun today to see what I can do to make sure he is a one-term President!
Why am I doing this? It is because I do not share Obama's vision or value system for America;
I do not share his Abortion beliefs;
I do not share his radical Marxist's concept of re-distributing wealth;
I do not share his stated views on raising taxes on those who make $150,000+ (the ceiling has been changed three times since August);
I do not share his view that America is arrogrant;
I do not share his view that America is not a Christian Nation;
I do not share his view that the military should be reduced by 25%;
I do not share his view of amnesty and giving more to illegals than American Citizens who need help;
I do not share his views on homosexuality and his definition of marriage;
I do not share his views that Radical Islam is our friend and Israel is our enemy who should give up any land;
I do not share his spiritual beliefs (at least the ones he has made public);
I do not share his beliefs on how to re-work the healthcare system in America;
I do not share his Strategic views of the Middle East, and certainly do not share his plan to sit down with terrorist regimes such as Iran.
Bottom line, my America is vastly different from Obama's, and I have a higher obligation to my Country and my God to do what is right!
For eight (8) years, the Liberals in our Society, led by numerous entertainers who would have no platform and no real credibility, but for their celebrity status, have attacked President Bush, his family, and his spiritual beliefs!
They have not moved toward the center in their beliefs and their philosophies, and they never came together nor compromised their personal beliefs for the betterment of our Country! They have portrayed my America as a land where everything is tolerated except being intolerant!
They have been a vocal and irreverent minority for years;
They have mocked and attacked the very core values so important to the founding and growth of our Country;
They have made every effort to remove the name of God or Jesus Christ from our Society;
They have challenged capital punishment, the right to bear firearms, and the most basic principles of our criminal code;
They have attacked one of the most fundamental of all Freedoms, the right of free speech!
Unite behind Obama? Never!
I am sure many of you who read this think that I am going overboard, but I refuse to retreat one more inch in favor of those whom I believe are the embodiment of Evil!
PRESIDENT BUSH made many mistakes during his Presidency, and I am not sure how history will judge him. However, I believe he weighed his decisions in light of the long established Judeo-Christian principles of our Founding Fathers!!!
Majority rules in America, and I will honor the concept; however, I will fight with all of my power to be a voice in opposition to Obama and "his goals for America ."

I have noted that many elected officials, both Democrats and Republicans, called upon America to unite behind Obama.
Well, I want to make it clear to all who will listen that I "AM NOT" uniting behind Obama. However, I promise to give our country the devoted loyalty of a patriot.
I will respect the Office which he holds, and I will acknowledge his abilities as an orator and wordsmith and pray for him, BUT that is it.
I have begun today to see what I can do to make sure he is a one-term President!
Why am I doing this? It is because I do not share Obama's vision or value system for America;
I do not share his Abortion beliefs;
I do not share his radical Marxist's concept of re-distributing wealth;
I do not share his stated views on raising taxes on those who make $150,000+ (the ceiling has been changed three times since August);
I do not share his view that America is arrogrant;
I do not share his view that America is not a Christian Nation;
I do not share his view that the military should be reduced by 25%;
I do not share his view of amnesty and giving more to illegals than American Citizens who need help;
I do not share his views on homosexuality and his definition of marriage;
I do not share his views that Radical Islam is our friend and Israel is our enemy who should give up any land;
I do not share his spiritual beliefs (at least the ones he has made public);
I do not share his beliefs on how to re-work the healthcare system in America;
I do not share his Strategic views of the Middle East, and certainly do not share his plan to sit down with terrorist regimes such as Iran.
Bottom line, my America is vastly different from Obama's, and I have a higher obligation to my Country and my God to do what is right!
For eight (8) years, the Liberals in our Society, led by numerous entertainers who would have no platform and no real credibility, but for their celebrity status, have attacked President Bush, his family, and his spiritual beliefs!
They have not moved toward the center in their beliefs and their philosophies, and they never came together nor compromised their personal beliefs for the betterment of our Country! They have portrayed my America as a land where everything is tolerated except being intolerant!
They have been a vocal and irreverent minority for years;
They have mocked and attacked the very core values so important to the founding and growth of our Country;
They have made every effort to remove the name of God or Jesus Christ from our Society;
They have challenged capital punishment, the right to bear firearms, and the most basic principles of our criminal code;
They have attacked one of the most fundamental of all Freedoms, the right of free speech!
Unite behind Obama? Never!
I am sure many of you who read this think that I am going overboard, but I refuse to retreat one more inch in favor of those whom I believe are the embodiment of Evil!
PRESIDENT BUSH made many mistakes during his Presidency, and I am not sure how history will judge him. However, I believe he weighed his decisions in light of the long established Judeo-Christian principles of our Founding Fathers!!!
Majority rules in America, and I will honor the concept; however, I will fight with all of my power to be a voice in opposition to Obama and "his goals for America ."

He Has the Whole World in His Hands
"He has the whole world in His hands." We have to cling to this truth that "we have nothing to fear" for if we do not, then all's lost, my dear. Though the high and lofty mountains topple to the ground, though the vast ocean runs dry, unfettering the mighty Leviathan, arousing him from his deep and dark watery domain, all living things have long sensed this day would come. But the exact time, the exact hour? Were we not to know? Was only the L-rd G-d to have knowledge of this event? Did He aspire to just let us wander about our days, just let us go about our ways, giddy in ignorance? Or did He provide us with signs? If so, were we discerning enough to pick them out? Were we discerning enough to read them? Were we discerning enough to heed them? One wonders....Ah, the Angels of Good and Evil...the Increase of G-d, ready to set Humanity's record straight; to requite all the wrongs we ever committed. This endless sea of towering, unmoving, steadfast, solemn beings, unwavering in their mission, powerful faces chiseled in stone. Resolute in fulfilling G-d's command, they silently stand their ground...facing off across a giant, yawning abyss, assembled shoulder to shoulder, these two groups, placed precisely atop two pinnacles, and convened at two very strategic battle points. Thousands of them, no, millions, I don't know, there is no way to count them. With axes to grind and weapons, "of the very finest kind," they wait, they wait, and they wait. The sky is roiling, boiling, like a giant serpent, as it's recoiling. Blustery, angry clouds and a monster wind is hurling chunks of debris through the air. The ground is badly beaten. Rocks and pebbles, like jagged shards of glass, explode in the atmosphere, like a fine wine glass. Earthquakes unsteady us, flashes of lightning tear up the sky, so brilliant, so white-hot, they sear the all-seeing eye. This is followed by heart-stopping, pulse pounding, deafening roars of thunder that never seem to stop. Everything is shaking badly. The sun, we can barely see it at all anymore. Slowly it makes it descent in the western sky. But now its face has turned ugly. It's purple and brown and black and red, adding to our sense of dread. It is struggling to get its rays out, but to no avail...and now the hail starts its tremendous downpour. Nothing escapes its deadly deluge, nothing, except the angels, whom the L-rd of Hosts has protected from all that is happening. Nothing touches them. For they are not yet ready to do His bidding; for He has not yet given the command. For the time is not yet right and the hour is not quite midnight.

Nanny State Doesn't Like Competition

“A Michigan woman who lives in front of a school bus stop says the state is threatening her with fines and possibly jail time for babysitting her neighbors’ kids until the bus comes,” CNN reports.
Lisa Snyder of Middleville, Mich., says she takes no money for watching the three children for 15-40 minutes each day so that the neighbors can get to work on time.
The Department of Human Services, acting on a complaint that Snyder was operating an illegal child care home, demanded she either get a license, stop watching the kids or face the consequences, WZZM says.
Snyder calls the whole thing “ridiculous” and tells the Grand Rapids TV station that “we are friends helping friends!”
A DHS spokesperson tells the station that it has no choice but to comply with state law, which is designed to protect Michigan children.
She’s not getting paid. She’s possibly not even letting the neighbor kids into her house. The kids are waiting for a school bus in front of her house, and she’s told her neighbors she’ll keep an eye on their kids. And the government wants her to get a license. (Something similar is happening in Britain.) This is what people mean when they warn that an ever-expanding government threatens the values of neighborliness and community. When the government provides services for free, or when it erects obstacles to individuals’ providing those services, it reduces private provision and simultaneously increases the demand for government services. If you make it illegal for neighbors to watch one another’s kids, you weaken ties of neighborhood and community.
Our nanny-state government not only wants to take care of us from cradle to pre-K to K-12 to homebuying to medical care to retirement to grave, it not only considers adult Americans “just like your teenage kids, [not] acting in a way that they should act,” it not only wants to “nudge” us into acting the way it thinks we should, now it thinks that neighbors should have to get a license to keep an eye on the kids congregating in front of their homes. It’s enough to make you think we have too much government.

United Who?
The United Nations, an organization with a noble charter but somewhere, long ago, lost its way. A giant landmark jutting skyward, with the flags of many nations fluttering in the wind. Curbside decorations, nothing more. Inside, hollow rooms, hollow people, hollow speeches. Podiums for Tyrants, Despots and Dictators spewing their slanted view of the world; slaying their opponents with twisted, venomous hateful words. Never once do they consider the people they oppress whom they have brutally caged and controlled. But oh how they love to point the finger at the United States and others who are always to blame for everything. Who are always the ones causing the trouble, never them. While their rants tirelessly ramble on, a few dissenters leave the room, but are outnumbered by the many who stay, numbed into nothingness, "do-nothingness." By their non actions, they sanction, give credibility to those tyrants and their inexcusable actions and tirades when they should be roundly condemned. But today was different, this September 24, 2009. Today was a day to remember. For on this day a man spoke with more clarity, more truth, more moral fiber than any other person who has ever spoken at the United Nations. The righteous words were uttered by the Prime Minister of Israel, Mr. Benjamin Netanyahu. They were a G-d knock on the head, a pierce to the heart, and a bruise to the soul. For he spoke to this body as it should have been spoken to a long time ago. His chastisement of the United Nations was a breath of fresh air. A rightful condemnation of a frightful body of people who have lost their way. He spoke about the continuous rocketing of his homeland by terrorists, with no regard for whom they murdered...babies, small children, men, women, old people. The Israelis, thinking that giving up more of their land would stop these incessant terrorist attacks, found out, much to their horror, that just the opposite happened--the attacks increased. But to Israel's incredulity the UN condemned Israel NOT the terrorists. Huh???? When Mr. Netanyahu talked of Iran's Holocaust Denier, Ahmadinejad, and actually had to hold up a map showing the location of the concentration camps where Jews were incarcerated to the members listening, it was almost too surreal to watch. Was Mr. Netanyahu's display because most of the people listening believed, along with Ahmadinejad, that the Holocaust "did not" occur? And Mr. Netanyahu's "have you no shame in allowing this Holocaust Denier a podium at the UN?" was right on target. Because the biggest problem with the UN is the one Mr. Netanyahu touched on, they have no shame. They have grown too big for their britches. They have lost sight of their real goal - their charter. It is long gone. It has been replaced with their new charter of power and greed. If ever there was a leader in the world today, Mr. Netanyahu gets my vote, hands down. If ever there was an organization that has done more to silence democracy, pervert justice, enrich itself at the expense of others, it is the UN. Mr. Netanyahu, thank you for standing up, because you really didn't have any other choice as no one else would stand up for you. Thank you for saying what needed to be said, because you really didn't have any other choice as no one else would stand up for you. Thank you for standing up for Israel because you really didn't have any other choice as no one else would stand up for you. And I see now that your staunchest ally, the FORMER United States, has now abandoned you. Thank you Comrade Obama. Thank you Mr. Netanyahu for saying what needed to be said, because you really didn't have any other choice as no one else would have spoken the truth as you did. Thank you for taking the Iranian Holocaust Denier to task, because NO ONE ELSE WOULD HAVE DONE IT. Thank you for taking the UN to task BECAUSE NO ONE ELSE WOULD HAVE DONE IT. The UN has let Israel down, its charter down, its members down. Mr. Netanyahu, you champion freedom and truth and morality and courage and stand your ground. I am proud to align myself with you and your country. You and your country Israel are and always will be a shining light to ALL THE GENTILE NATIONS. And shame, shame shame on you United Nations. "Sacred Geometry" - G-d's Blueprint for Creation
The snowflake....Scientists say that each snowflake design is different. How many snowflakes fall in a year? Think about this. We skip a stone across a pond and watch, mesmerized, as ripples magically fan out, small at first they grow larger and larger, drawing us in. We watch the tiny spider spin her lacy curtain, her lovely negligee draping across a nearby fence post or a veranda. We count the seconds before a drop of dew falls from a leaf. We listen to the haunting sounds of the wind as it winds its way through a pine grove. We hear the sound of the Hoot Owl on a frosty night. We watch the glow of red eyes, as they cautiously study us, from the edge of the meadow. We listen to the enchanting sound of the Mockingbird. We stop to breathe in the fragrance of the Rose the Lilac, Hyacinth, Lavender. Do not the stars make their scheduled appearance in the evening sky each and every night? Does not the sun waken us in the morning and the moon beam brightly to bid us goodnight? The rains gently quench a thirsty earth, enabling the seedling to give birth. Shadows lengthen in the fall, the days grow shorter. Seasons come, seasons go. Just like them, are we "sow." We are born, we have our "run" at things, and then our clock starts to wind down. Finally it stops for good. Now we return to whence we came. But for now, we're on the outside, looking in. Can't we see that we can't win? Unless we completely surrender ourselves to Him. But before we can do that we must first stop the din. There is a rhythm that weaves throughout G-d's universe. It's in our own back yard. It's within us. We just need to quiet down long enough to get in touch with it.

Could Obama Be America's Worst Folly Yet?
World events are a series of "ebbs" and "tides". First up, then down. You could also liken them to two tectonic plates grinding against each other. Sometimes grinding ever so slowly, you barely feel the tremblor. And then there are other times they savagely thrust against one another with such force that no one can escape their notice. Such was the case with Obama's decision to forego the Eastern Europe Missile Defense Program that the former administration had worked on for years. And Mr. Obama's timing couldn't have been more perfect. His decision, bolstered by Defense Secretary Gates, that the U.S. new Missile Defense project would be just as good or better, and his announcement to the world, on the very day, seventy years after the start of WWII and the invasion of Poland and the former Bohemia (in the Czech Republic) by Germany on Sept. 1, 1939 and by the Soviet Union on Sept. 17, 1939. This decision by the United States couldn't have been a better dagger to the heart. One wonders what is driving this man. Could it be his dangerously naieve inexperience in world politics? His just plain horribly inexcusable lack of knowledge at how easily one can be manipulated, played, by cunsters who are much more adroit at the game of oneupsmanship? Being had is not hard to accomplish when the one being had doesn't even have a clue he's being had. That he's being played like a deck of cards, a fine-tuned piano, seduced by the best of the best. By one of the world's best known con artists, the darling of the Eastern chopping block, Vladimir Putin. Obama..." Ah, Mr. Putin, I will have a bottle of your finest Vodka, along with the finest cut of Soviet beef, seared ever so slowly to a medium rare, (that's Obama being seared if you didn't get it) a baked potato with gobs of butter and sour cream, and how 'bout a scrumptious piece of New York Cheescake complicit with succulent, ripe cherries on top"? We all know about them cherries don't we? With heads and hearts together, the two, in a frenzy of political lovemaking, Vladimir, tipsy with another easy conquest, and holding a tipsy and "doesn't have a clue Obama" up, another bottle of "ze" finest Vodka clenched firmly in hand, they saunter off to the nearest hotel to "seal" the deal. Mr. Obama, in his quest to be the best, has now alienated our friends in Eastern Europe who stuck their necks out for us (who trusted us)- bad decision; thrown away this country's reputation as having any concern at all for any other country's freedom or defense of that freedom; and has most certainly emboldened our enemies to where they feel they have been given the green light to continue to go about building their nuclear power plants, and continue with their campaign of terror against the "infidels" and anyone else who stands in their way. All because of an inept President who doesn't know his history. Stupidity at this level is mind-boggling enough when left to the common folk but when it is applied at the Executive level, folks we have a problem. The problem is that this decision by Obama and his administration is going to come back to haunt us in a very desperate way. And all because the American people voted a dullard into office. When THAT time comes, All the finger pointing in the world by the Left and Obama will lead in only one direction - THEIRS and no one else.

I am Proud of My Country
I think it plain to see that things are not the way should be. We put our trust in one of us who turned out to be just "WHO IS HE???" Obama says, "I'll bring together, no racial smears...just a couple of beers, no lies no games, but we're to blame. All that we've seen is a "tearing" apart, no "coming" together, no "heart-to-heart." What more is in store from this country's "elite", the ones who rebuke, call Patriots "freaks?" The pols seem to think they can just get away with flaunting, so daunting, but then "it's okay." Well it won't be much longer, in fact, moments away, when long lines of citizens will have "their own say." And then you will hear us, "Have a Nice Day!" Adios! And get lost, just go away. Take a train to no where we've work now to do. All that you've plundered we have to re-glue. Take your Czars and your cars, your liquor, your bars, your rants and your vomit, your spews and your blogs. Bury them deep in a dark smelly bog. Where you'll all be at home with the green wollypogs. So you cannot resurface to do us more harm, to this people, this land, causing us more alarm. For this is a country laced through-and-through with folks who are just plain FED UP with you. They're tired of the way you've squandered THEIR money, they're tired of the way your lips drip with honey. They see what you're doing, they're not stupid, you know, as you've seen by the TEA PARTIES and the just "average" Joe. You awakened their passion that's long been asleep, a love for their country, and the principles she keeps. When you trample, besmirch all that we hold dear...MAKE NO MISTAKE...IT WILL COST YOU NEXT YEAR.

Why are Americans so united? They would not resemble one another even if you
painted them all one color! They speak all the languages of the world and form
an astonishing mixture of civilizations and religious beliefs On 9/ll, the American tragedy turned three hundred million people into a hand put on the heart. Nobody rushed to accuse the White House, the Army, or the Secret Service Nobody rushed to empty their bank accounts. Nobody rushed out onto the streets nearby to gape about Instead the Americans volunteered to donate blood and to give a helping hand. After the first moments of panic, they raised their flag over the smoking ruins, putting on T-shirts, caps and ties in the colors of the national flag. They placed flags on buildings and cars as if in every place and on every car a government official or the president was passing.. On every occasion, they started singing: 'God Bless America !' I watched the live broadcast and rerun after rerun for hours listening to the story of the guy who went down one hundred floors with a woman in a wheelchair without knowing who she was, or of the Californian hockey player, who gave his life fighting with the terrorists and prevented the plane from hitting a target that could have killed other hundreds or thousands of people.. How on earth were they able to respond united as one human being? Imperceptibly, with every word and musical note, the memory of some turned into a modern myth of tragic heroes. And with every phone call, millions and millions of dollars were put into collection aimed at rewarding not a man or a family, but a spirit, which no money can buy. What on earth can unite the Americans in such way? Their land? Their history? Their economic Power? Money? I tried for hours to find an answer, humming songs and murmuring phrases with the risk of sounding commonplace, I thought things over, I reached but only one conclusion...
Only freedom can work such miracles.
