Underlying all the surface-changes of present-day history, the reality and paramount importance of a single basic event is becoming daily more manifest: namely, the rise of the masses, with its natural corollary, the socialization of Mankind. How many clowns do you have to have to meet the definition of a circus? Just exactly who do you believe, anymore? In my increasingly old and feeble mind, all credibility has been lost with government and I don't care what agency you are talking about. Now we have Donald Trump, whom none of us really know anything about, entering the political scene, and causing scenes. We don't know anymore about him other than he's made a few economic blunders and is still listed as a billionaire. (maybe i shoulda invested in real estate) But whom is stroking whom? Could this be another con in the form of one who appears to be speaking to the concerns of the middle class but underneath is just another in a long list of political operatives, entering the scene, at just the right time, to sway people this way or that? And all because of a more sinister motive? By sinister I mean something that is hidden from view, something that smells, something someone doesn't want the average American to know about? My trust-o-meter is on empty. The list is endless of the Presidents who have done........what? How have they contributed to improving this country? Give me a worthy example. Let's get real. This country has had a figurehead for a long time. And the real entites running the show are the corporate elites and special interest groups. Will we ever get back to this country's real roots of free enterprise and entrepreneurship? At this point in time I have to say no as I believe it is going to take a miracle to clean up the mess we've created.

soule: I dunno, but this is how I received this number, exactly as I have it here: 5-7-11. I at first thought it was a date but then began wondering. I feel this number is of some significance so I circled it on my calendar. I looked up some info regarding numbers which you might find interesting. First of all 5 7 11 are all PRIME numbers and this led me to another site.
Numbers are used in Scripture, not merely as in Nature, with supernatural design, but with spiritual significance:
FIVE. Denotes Divine grace. It is 4+1. It is God adding His gifts and blessing to the works of His hands. The Heb. Ha'aretz (the earth), by "Gematria" (i.e. the addition of the numerical value of the letters together) is a multiple of four, while Hashamayim (the heavens) is a multiple of five. The Gematria of Caris (charis), the Greek for Grace, is also a multiple of five. It is the leading factor in the Tabernacle measurements.
SEVEN. Denotes spiritual perfection. It is the number or hall-mark of the Holy Spirit's work. He is the Author of God's Word, and seven is stamped on it as the water-mark is seen in the manufacture of paper. He is the Author and Giver of life; and seven is the number which regulates every period of Incubation and Gestation, in insects, birds, animals, and man.
ELEVEN. Denotes disorder, disorganization, because it is one short of the number twelve: see below
TWELVE. Denotes Governmental perfection. It is the number of factor of all numbers connected with government : whether by Tribes or Apostles, or in measurements of time, or in things which have to do with government in the heavens and the earth.

We've come to expect politicians promising us things to get elected and then turning around and not fulfilling them.  But I have to tell you, from what I am seeing, going on in Washington, D.C., the deception is beyond the pale.  I believe that for many people it just doesn't matter anymore.  So let's paint a broader picture.  President G.W, how would I rate him?  Maybe a C.  President Clinton, maybe a C-.  We small folk (peasants to our handlers) have quietly gone about the business of being Americans for a long time.  We proudly wrapped the flag of Old Glory around our shoulders and patriotically went out and did what was required of us.  We made it through the Great Depression, left behind loved ones to fight war after war, paid our taxes and raised our families.

What a Country!

Watching the two parties duke it out to reach some sort of budget agreement was interesting as alot of facts surrounding this budget debacle finally surfaced.  Is anyone else sick of this nonsense?  It's really more than nonsense seeing that Congress, the people we elected to office, have pretty much emptied out our bank accounts.  Do they really care that this nation is on the brink of fiscal insolvency?  I think this latest round of talking deals answers that question.  The voters sent a clear message to Congress back in November.  STOP THE SPENDING.   That meant BOTH parties but we still have one party (the Democratic Party) that refuses to step up to the plate.  I'm sorry but that's the way I see it.  And I believe I have the facts to back this statement up.  How do you label a group (there may be a few exceptions) who seemingly ignore the gargantuan fiscal crisis this country is in but can only feels pain for one of its pets...Planned Parenthood?  Forget the fact that the country is going down the drain but don't you dare touch my population control project.  Man is is it working and the money it brings in...wow.  Then, when it appears that it might get axed, because we are broke, they let the  loonies loose who start with absurd accusations to drum up support.    I'm sorry but this shenanigan only made me madder.  What is truly frightening is watching a bunch of spoiled brats who have full control of my money.  Apparently their Mommy or Daddy didn't do a good job of using the paddle.  You know the ole saying, "spare the rod and spoil the child."  Can you spell D-E-M-O-C-R-A-T?  Forget the fact that with a looming government shutdown our military would not receive their pay.  But you damn well can count on Congress receiving theirs.  The Tea Party needs to continue the pressure.  The Freshmen Congressmen, in both parties who really want to turn this country around need to stick to their guns.  No backing down.  Time has run out.  To summarize, If you're not willing to work toward truly fixing our economic mess then I say, lead, follow or get the hell out of the way.  The President has certainly gotten this message.  I haven't seen him in months.   Oh please, don't tell me he'll  be out of town again.  Where is it this time?  This guy certainly has alot of vacation time saved up.  I guess that's the hard part of bein a Prez...when the hard times hit,  just hit the road, that's what I always say.  What a guy, what a Congress, what a country!

And, it's pretty obvious that Mr. Von NotHaus (you've got to be kiddin me...this is the guy's real name???) had some brains left and knew what to do with them. I guess that's against the law, now, too.
