If you want to get a good look at government "nannyism" and the jerks who are in control of our lives, I suggest you read this article. Let's get this out in the open, okay? I'm friggin tired of playing footsy. We have a huge welfare class in this country, black, whites and others, who are coddled, babied, and spoon-fed by the government. Lazy and too entitled to get off their fat asses and find a job, they continue to grovel at the government's pig sty. And the rest of us continue to pay for this with our taxes. Im all for helpin people but this situation is way out of control and government doesn't want to do anything about this because it's a huge voting block. Well, guess what, I'm sick and tired of the real folks working their butts off, having it rammed to them continually in the form of more regs and higher taxes and the rest of the bunch getting passed over. We don't have any more damned money. We have other "entitlements" that are on the brink of insolvency or out of money entirely yet this government ignores this pressing problem and continues to spend us into oblivion. Can the government get a grip and just stop spending? The thinking that more taxes is the answer is not the answer. Just some liberal utopian feel-good, lazy, quick fix for them screwing things up in the first place. Taxing us even more is going to throw another roadblock in the way of job creation, stifle entrepreneurship and just continue to fill government coffers with more of our hard earned money so they can all blow it again. You guys in office need your heads examined. And while we're on the subject, your wallets need to be examined, also. All of You who represent We The People could set a very good example that you mean business in decreasing our trillions of dollars in debt starting by freezing those automatic pay raises you vote yourselves every year. Yeah, you're for the people alright. We have a "working class" in this country and may I differentiate between a working class and the producers of this country? There is a big difference. Workers can be state, federal, municipal. There might be some others I forgot to mention. They get up and go to work and then come home. But do they actually produce anything? We then have the producers of this country, whom I believe to be members of the real working class. The farmers, the ranchers, dairymen, manufacturers, oilmen, fishermen, etc., who continue to produce "some" thing tangible for us...food to eat and products to wear or use. But they are dwindling in numbers and either quitting their profession or leaving for greener pastures...many of them, overseas. Alot of those decisions have to do with a decreasing profit margin as big government continues to raise our taxes, environmental regulations and unions. Let's talk prices. Right now the price of nitrogen fertilizer is over $400/T for the farmer, rancher. I just heard recently that that figure might even be on the low side...and more like $600.00/T. Three years ago it was $180/T. Back in October of last year a Ton of dairy commodities (stuff you feed cows like corn, wheat mids, soybean meal) was approx. $190.00/T. Right now it's $250/T for the same mix, possibly higher. The rest of the working people on this planet have to put up with seeing 65% of their meager "pay" go for food and fuel. Grain products have sky-rocketed because of more demand from countries in Asia and elsewhere. If our government taxes us even more, doesn't it stand to reason that the price of the food and products we buy will be higher, for everyone? Yeah the big guys with the millions of money pouring into their bank accounts can take these higher costs on the chin. But they will still be passed on to the rest of us in the form of higher food and fuel prices. What will happen to the budgets of the rural folks who have to drive long distances to work if they are slapped with a mileage tax? What if they have to travel a long way to shop or visit a Dr. or go grocery shopping? What about just visiting for the sake of visiting? What about the small livestock producers (and this country has thousands of them) the ranchers and farmers who have a 50, 100 or more head of livestock, the fishermen, the manufacturers, etc? Are they not just as important as the big guy? They contribute to the food supply and production of goods in this country. What about the price of commodities and hay and fertilizer and fuel they use? Does anyone give one crap about them? What if they have to travel a long distance to fuel up their trucks, tractors and other equipment? And we have the Congressional Budget Office and Senator Kent Konrad from North Dakota who are considering taxing us even more for using the highways that we are already being taxed for? We're not out of control...the government is. The few people that are willing to put up with this or can even afford this will still hang in there but for how long? The rest will just give up. And those that give up will undoubtedly end up in the unemployment line and very likely on welfare. The little guy is scratchin his head, totaling up the numbers and they just don't add up. And the President of the United States just gave Brazil billions of our tax dollars to drill there but we can't drill here? And what about refineries? You can drill all you want but if you don't have the mechanism to refine the crude, then what? Mr. Obama is not the only one to blame for where this country is, right now. For approximately 40 years this country's leaders have ignored and dilly dallied about creating an energy policy and because of their negligence, I believe we are now facing a very big problem. And, I believe that these high gas prices aren't going away but are here to stay. This CBO article points to the fact that this country is heavily dependent on foreign oil and that by taxing our mileage (and the government wants to install some type of device to ensure they know just how many miles we do travel) it will add additional revenue to maintain our roads.
This is nuts.

You see, the things that were once important to many have now become less important. It is now human relationships, and values of love, compassion, and sympathy that are most important in these uncertain times. These are tremendous opportunities for soul growth and transformation, and these are opportunities for you, students on the path, to re-think what is truly important to you.
“Your short stay on the worlds of time and space may be even shorter for some, so it is best to live each day with gratitude, and enjoy the moments you have with loved ones, for tomorrow change will come upon you, and you may never again get the chance to tell someone how feel about them, how you love them, or how important they are in your life. I admonish you to be conscious of this temporary estate you inhabit and stop wasting days in mundane sleep giving care to material matters -- reach out to your fellows and enjoy the moment with each and every one who crosses your path.

Injustice
2 Years Down, 13 Years To Go!
To the thousands of Michael Behenna supporters,
On March 20th it will have been two years since Michael’s freedom was taken away from him. Shortly after that horrific day he was publicly paraded through three airports en route to Ft. Leavenworth to begin serving a 25 year sentence for killing a known al-Qaida terrorist. When Michael first went to prison he was bitter for the incredible injustice that had been done to him by a country he put his life on the line for. But that bitterness was soon replaced by an attitude of inner peace and a desire to discover himself.
Today Michael works 5 days a week in exterior grounds maintenance, lifts weights in the prison gym, reads his numerous cards and letters, and has immersed himself in books sent to him or that he checks out from the prison library. He is treated well at Leavenworth because many of the MP’s know that his situation is vastly different than most incarcerated there. However, it is still a prison with the associated hardships of “groundhog day” monotony, violent flair-ups of inmates, strip searches, full prison lockdowns, and the predictable food menu every week. He lives in his own cell and he finds solace among the other Leavenworth 10 soldiers who have been convicted of similar war crimes. They have been a Godsend for one another as they have a common bond and each are remarkable individuals and soldiers who have been entangled in a bizarre legal quagmire for unknown political purposes. Your generous contributions to Michael’s canteen account enable him to call home regularly and we are lucky enough to live a few hours away from Leavenworth so that either family or friends can visit him almost every weekend.
Michael recently wrote a letter about what he has learned while he has been in prison. We wanted to share it with you now.
Since arriving in prison I have begun a journey of continuous refining of both my thought and my action; the way I relate to others, an appreciation for life, and self-understanding. As Emerson once wrote ‘What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us’ and I am finding that what lies within us knows no limits.
I have no access to the outside world except through newspapers and magazines and phone calls and weekend visits with my family. Yet I am not confined to my cell so long as I have books that take me to places I have never been. Books have become my avenue to knowledge and it is through them that I have met some magnificent people whose lives have inspired me to not only continue my fight for freedom, but to find freedom behind these bars.
Solitude was necessary for me to know myself. Once I began to truly know myself I began the journey of transformation. I have a notebook where I write down anything that I find meaningful in the books and letters I read. I have learned that it is not how much one knows, but what one does with what one knows.
There is a story of an old Cherokee who told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside of every person – it is a battle between two wolves. One wolf is life-taking: it is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, guilt, arrogance, self-pity, resentment, inferiority, lies, and ego. The other wolf is life-giving: it is joy, peace, love, hope serenity, humility, kindness, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather which wolf won. The old Cherokee simply replied, ‘The one you feed’. I am working on only feeding the wolf who gives life.
One of the most inspiring books I’ve received is called ‘Gives Me Hope’. It is filled with true stories of kindness and generosity and I highly recommend it. When I first came to prison I had very little hope and a whole lot of bitterness. That is no longer the case. To all those who have supported me through this struggle I want you to know from the bottom of my heart that YOU GAVE ME HOPE! And still do…
As you can see, Michael’s attitude through this ordeal remains unbelievably good. His greatest fear going to prison was that he would be forgotten. Quite to the contrary (and to the dismay of the Army) Michael’s case is getting more attention than ever and there are things in the works that are going to put it in the spotlight even more so. Every week we hear from someone who tells us they knew nothing about Michael’s case until they saw a DefendMichael.com wristband or bumper sticker. It is a grass roots effort that keeps getting bigger and bigger.
The status of Michael’s appeals currently sits with the Army Court of Appeals. They should make a decision on the many legal issues of Michael’s case sometime later this year.
Keep spreading the word about Michael’s case and continue writing letters to your representatives. And please keep sending Michael cards and letters that ‘Give Him Hope’. That is a gift that we will be forever indebted to you for.

A Tribute to the Japanese
I silent stand among cherry trees, a gracious gift from Japanese, and, as far away as I can see, a lonely form comes into view, she's shrouded by dark mist and dew, faint troubled calls I now hear and lonely visages of ones so dear, a tiny speck upon the sea, she is so very dear to me, her travail is oh, so painfully, coming home for all to see, I cannot bear what before my eyes, this cataclysmic earth surprise, she struggles on so valliantly, through heartbreak, ravage, now on her knees, whence cometh her help? her cry is heard and from afar, her earth-bound brethren, descend upon a convulsed nation, and with open hearts to her devastation, stand their posts, stay their stations. Is this the end? one has to wonder, is this the time for earth go under? No, it's just a call to arms, not the ones that bring us harm, but a call to everyone that this misfortune is telling us we're not alone, for this Planet Earth she is our home and that we all are one. The earth is mirrored high above, soft stirs of angels, like turtle doves, descend upon her, spirit guides, to help all mankind ride this tide, a brand new day is dawning here, one of peace and not of fear, a new consciousness is sweeping through the world, it's deepening still and around us whirls, how we are suffering, but we always have, and will go on until the last, we cannot stifle muffled cry, the tears they well up in our eyes, for the abject horror unfolding there is bringing us all to despair, the world is seeing its reflection, as we try to stay the course correction, we will prevail as G-d has seen, that all has meaning yet unseen, this, my home, from long ago, this my people, all heroes.

JERUSALEM – Two members of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas' official security forces were arrested in conjunction with this past weekend's bloody massacre in which five family members were brutally stabbed to death inside their home in the Jewish village of Itamar, WND has learned.
The names of the apprehended suspects will be released to the Israeli media within hours but were revealed to WND by security officials working on the murder.
Two cousins are now in Israeli custody and are suspected in the slayings. Ahmed Awad is an officer in Abbas' Preventative Security Services in the northern West Bank city of Nablis. Iyad Awad is an officer in Abbas' General Intelligence services in Ramallah. Both the Preventative and General Intelligence services of Fatah are armed, trained and funded by the U.S.
The duo did not personally carry out the murders, but rather they assisting in the planning and logistics, informed security sources told WND.
Since the late 1990s, the U.S. has run training bases for PA militias. The U.S. also has provided hundreds of millions of dollars in financial aid and weapons to build up the PA militias. Since 2007, the U.S. has stepped up its efforts at training the PA, including a new, advanced program for Palestinian police to train 500 to 600 cadets at a time at the American bases. The U.S. currently operates training bases for the PA police and other militias, such as Force 17 and the Preventative Security Services in the West Bank city of Jericho and the Jordanian village of Giftlik.
Yesterday, WND was the first to report that cells from the PA's so-called military wing were involved with planning and carrying out the killings.
The Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, the "military wing" of Abbas' Fatah party, at first released a pamphlet taking responsibility for the attack and then quickly retracted the statement. Many Brigades members, including much of the group's senior leadership, double as members of Fatah's U.S.-backed security forces.
Top sources in the Brigades leadership in the northern West Bank city of Nablus confirmed to WND that members of the Fatah group planned and helped to carry out the attack. The sources claimed the attack was not sanctioned by the Fatah leadership but was planned by Brigades members who were acting on their own.
Also, the sources said the actual perpetrators of the attack were sleeper cells from Hamas, while the Brigades leaders planned the attack, provided logistical support and aided in the Hamas agents' escape. If accurate, this would demonstrate unusual cooperation between Hamas and Fatah rivals. The U.S. administration has labeled Fatah as a "negotiating partner" for peace in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Just two weeks ago, WND reported exclusively that members of Abbas' Brigades, now classified by the U.S. State Department as a terrorist organization, have been brandishing weapons publicly in recent days despite a disarmament agreement with Israel. According to informed Israeli security sources, messages were passed to the PA by the Israel Defense Forces and Israel's Shabak security services that the armed Brigades members must lay down their weapons or face arrest. Last Friday's massacre, in the northern West Bank village of Itamar, saw Palestinian assailants stab to death the Fogel family – father Udi, 37; mother Ruth, 36; 10-year-old Yoav; 4-year-old Elad; and 3-month-old Hadas – inside their home. Two other children in the house at the time were not hurt in the attack, apparently because the terrorists did not notice them. Israel National News reported the initial findings of the investigation show the terrorists stabbed the Fogel family's sleeping 3-year-old in the heart and slashed the throat of his 3-month-old sister.
The assailants apparently entered the Fogel's home through a living room window. They did not notice a 6-year-old boy sleeping on the couch and continued on to the bedroom, where they slashed the throats of the father and newborn baby sleeping there. The mother, Ruth, came out of the bathroom and was stabbed in the doorway. The evidence shows she tried to fight the terrorists.
The Palestinians found 10-year old Yoav reading in bed when they stabbed him to death. They apparently also did not notice a 2-year old asleep in his bed but murdered the 3-year old with two stabs to his heart.
After that, the terrorists reportedly locked the door of the house and exited through the window. The Fogel's 12-year-old daughter returned home only to find the horrific scene. She reportedly ran out of the house screaming.
According to reports, she was not able to initially enter the locked house so she woke up a neighbor, who assisted her in waking up one of the sleeping children inside the Fogel home who had had not been noticed by the terrorists.
Palestinian Media Watch today reported on the rampant incitement to violence in the PA media in the days and weeks before yesterday's attack.
Just one day before the assault, Sabri Saidam, adviser to and under-secretary of the Fatah Revolutionary Council, delivered a speech in which he emphasized that weapons must be turned towards the "main enemy [Israel]" and that internal differences of opinion must be set aside.
In the week leading up to the terrorist attack, the PA announced plans for a football tournament named after the first female Palestinian suicide bomber, Wafa Idris, who killed one and reportedly injured more than 150 when she blew herself up in Jerusalem in January 2002.
Earlier, Abbas' representative, Azzam Al-Ahmed, member of the Fatah Central Committee, was the guest of honor at a Palestinian scout ceremony in which buildings representing Jewish residents of the West Bank were blown up.
In December, Abbas granted the relatives of a Palestinian terrorist $2,000 as part of a regular PA campaign that supports so-called "shahids" or "martyrs" who die while attacking Jews.

JERUSALEM – Two members of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas' official security forces were arrested in conjunction with this past weekend's bloody massacre in which five family members were brutally stabbed to death inside their home in the Jewish village of Itamar, WND has learned.
The names of the apprehended suspects will be released to the Israeli media within hours but were revealed to WND by security officials working on the murder.
Two cousins are now in Israeli custody and are suspected in the slayings. Ahmed Awad is an officer in Abbas' Preventative Security Services in the northern West Bank city of Nablis. Iyad Awad is an officer in Abbas' General Intelligence services in Ramallah. Both the Preventative and General Intelligence services of Fatah are armed, trained and funded by the U.S.
The duo did not personally carry out the murders, but rather they assisting in the planning and logistics, informed security sources told WND.
Since the late 1990s, the U.S. has run training bases for PA militias. The U.S. also has provided hundreds of millions of dollars in financial aid and weapons to build up the PA militias. Since 2007, the U.S. has stepped up its efforts at training the PA, including a new, advanced program for Palestinian police to train 500 to 600 cadets at a time at the American bases. The U.S. currently operates training bases for the PA police and other militias, such as Force 17 and the Preventative Security Services in the West Bank city of Jericho and the Jordanian village of Giftlik.
Yesterday, WND was the first to report that cells from the PA's so-called military wing were involved with planning and carrying out the killings.
The Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, the "military wing" of Abbas' Fatah party, at first released a pamphlet taking responsibility for the attack and then quickly retracted the statement. Many Brigades members, including much of the group's senior leadership, double as members of Fatah's U.S.-backed security forces.
Top sources in the Brigades leadership in the northern West Bank city of Nablus confirmed to WND that members of the Fatah group planned and helped to carry out the attack. The sources claimed the attack was not sanctioned by the Fatah leadership but was planned by Brigades members who were acting on their own.
Also, the sources said the actual perpetrators of the attack were sleeper cells from Hamas, while the Brigades leaders planned the attack, provided logistical support and aided in the Hamas agents' escape. If accurate, this would demonstrate unusual cooperation between Hamas and Fatah rivals. The U.S. administration has labeled Fatah as a "negotiating partner" for peace in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Just two weeks ago, WND reported exclusively that members of Abbas' Brigades, now classified by the U.S. State Department as a terrorist organization, have been brandishing weapons publicly in recent days despite a disarmament agreement with Israel. With the Japan Self-Defense Force leading 'Operation Tomodachi,' U.S. Pacific Command (USPACOM) provided various capabilities to include additional search-and-rescue provisions, medical services, food, shelter, command and control, fuel and other capabilities.
The USS Ronald Reagan Carrier Strike Group (CSG 7) flew several helicopter missions conducting surveys, delivering humanitarian supplies and is currently conducting the evacuation of 640 people from Takata, Japan.
Also, Japanese authorities are directing U.S. Navy personnel in at-sea search-and-rescue and recovery operations east of the Miyagi Prefecture, while providing transport to approximately 700 Japan Ground Self-Defense Force personnel to needed areas.
Yokota Air Base has provided a reception center for incoming aircraft and has received more than 10 commercial airliners diverted from the Narita International Airfield.
The 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit continues to provide coordination assistance and conduct relief operations with aviation assets.
U.S. military personnel, supplies and capabilities continue to arrive as needed by the Japan Self-Defense Force. In total as of March 11, eight U.S. Navy ships, more than 15 U.S. Navy aircraft, 1400 lbs. of food , more than 8,600 lbs. of supplies, and approximately 5,300 Sailors and Marines are currently serving along with the Japan Self-Defense Force as other assets continue to arrive.

Silence is golden but it can also be deafening. I'm refraining from using the term President in front of Mr. Obama's name because there's no connection between the two. It's just a shallow title. Sorta like "Community Organizer." I have tried to find anything "presidential about this man. One of the saddest things is this man does have all the makings of a great President (somewhere) but he's blown it. To my fellow Americans I ask...What folly have we wrought? To vote a man into office who didn't/doesn't have a clue on how to run a country other than into the ground with the help of his neer-do-wells. What a pity, what a shame, for this country called the United States of America has finally gone down on its backside. Mind-boggling that so many couldn't have cared less about the background of this man and in spite of all the warning signs, still went out and voted for him...a charlatan, a do-nothing, a passive extremist who cares more for golfing and watching basketball than stepping up to the plate of leading this country he was elected to lead. And, addressing the most massive destructive act of nature ever witnessed by the world against a tiny island nation, Japan. America, you and I are going to pay for this mistake and dearly. We won't even get to Libya and the call for help from the freedom fighters to the West to take Ghaddafi down. Where is Obama? MIA. The light of day (a wake up call?..one can only hope and pray) is finally shining on this man whom I believe has despoiled the title that was bestowed on him back in November. And because of that decision, a vacuous, empty-headed, clueless, indecisive, spineless individual now occupies the Oval Office. I am afraid for my country for the decision we made back in 2008. I am afraid for the world. I am embarrassed beyond words that a majority of Americans voted him into office. The Left really did a number on you along with their cohorts in the MSM. And anyone who wants to take issue with what I just posted, go ahead....MAKE MY DAY

A "WAKE UP" CALL?
Utter devastation, disbelief, horrific, tragic, all words from one who is only able to watch the pictures streaming out of Japan and feeling tremendous heartbreak. The world's leaders, the United Nations, must all come together, now, as one unit, laying aside their own personal private agendas and embrace this Planet's "oneness." It is evident that these horrendous acts are tearing people and countries apart. We need a strong glue to keep us all together. That is why we need prayer right here, right now. And on a global scale. If what just happened to Japan does not provide a "prompting" to all of us, then I believe we need to have our heads examined. Petty things such as grievances, anger, hostility, what's yours is mine, etc., all fade into nothingness when viewed through the prism of a global cataclysm. The Ring of Fire is unzipping. Another of Indonesia's volcanoes just erupted; Yellowstone has within it a caldera that, according to scientists, is lagging behind (it's overdue for blowing its top); remember New Zealand's earthquake just a few weeks ago? And how can we forget Chile? I remember reading somewhere just recently that some type of hole has opened up in Central America and the people can see fire coming out of it. Then we have the biblical flooding in Australia. Can we expect more of the same? My prediction...YES. Countries are running short of resources and money to handle these acts of nature. But what about our spiritual resources? I believe we haven't even begun to tap them yet. But, we are being pushed, even propelled, more and more, in that direction. How many more G-d "knocks" on the head do we need? Will we humans continue to ignore the message coming straight at us until we are left with only one more wake up call? Or will we be able to rise above our evil inclination and realize that if we do not heed the warning, that the next picture we see will be that of our own demise. It is up to us.

U.S. Dollar Collapse Could Occur at Any Time
China this morning reported 4.9% price inflation for the month of February, exceeding analyst expectations of 4.8%. With China now mimicking the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and taking steps to artificially manipulate their consumer price index (CPI) numbers as low as possible, it is likely that real price inflation in China is now closer to 10%. China was at least smart enough to raise interest rates last month by 25 basis points to 6.06%, while the Federal Reserve continues to leave interest rates near zero with there being absolutely no talk of the Federal Reserve ever raising interest rates again. China will be successful at containing inflation, as U.S. inflation spirals out of control and becomes the greatest economic crisis in American history.
China this week reported a $7.3 billion trade deficit for the month of February, its largest trade deficit in seven years, which surprised many global economists. NIA believes China's trade deficit is temporary and that China will quickly return to having a trade surplus. The Federal Reserve's QE2 along with China's destructive monetary policies, which artificially devalue the yuan, have led to a massive rise in China's raw material costs this year. NIA believes that in the upcoming months, Chinese manufacturers will raise the prices of their products that get exported to the U.S., to counteract rising commodity prices. With most products used by Americans today having been manufactured in China, this will mean Americans will soon see massive price inflation in just about all consumer goods they use. NIA projects that by the end of 2011, we will begin to see the U.S. CPI increase by 4.9% or higher on a year-over-year basis, with real U.S. price inflation rising north of 10%.
The mainstream media is proclaiming that China's trade deficit will silence calls for the Chinese to allow their currency to strengthen against the U.S. dollar. The fact is, China's government has for long been making the major mistake of printing too many yuan in order to artificially prop up the U.S. dollar. Their fear was, if the U.S. dollar was allowed to decline too rapidly, prices of Chinese goods would rise in terms of U.S. dollars and Americans would no longer afford to import them.
The truth is, if China allowed the yuan to strengthen, the Chinese would have enjoyed a much higher standard of living. Sure, prices would rise in dollars and Americans would import less, but the Chinese would have the ability to consume more of their own products. Now, as a result of China expanding its own money supply in order to keep the yuan pegged to the U.S. dollar, Americans will be forced to pay a much higher price for Chinese goods anyway. The same higher prices Americans were going to pay as a result of exchange rate appreciation, Americans will now pay as a result of inflation. For the Chinese, the exchange rate appreciation route would have been a much better route to take than the inflation route, because now the Chinese will also be forced to pay higher prices. In the very short-term, China might actually suffer more than the U.S. because they lack the social safety nets that have been implemented here in America.
The U.S. government has been successful at temporarily paying off Americans into not rioting in the streets like in Arab nations. It was just announced a few days ago that the number of Americans on food stamps in the month of December of 2010 was a record 44,082,324, up 13.1% from one year earlier and 1.1% from one month earlier. That is more than 14% of the total U.S. population! Combined with President Obama extending unemployment benefits up to 99 weeks, American citizens are too busy and distracted playing with their iPad 2s and gossiping on Twitter about Charlie Sheen, to have any time to protest in Washington, DC.
NIA believes the U.S. government's entitlement spending is currently having the unintended consequence of making Americans dependent on government. It is like when you take wild animals into captivity and you feed them, teach them to do tricks and take care of them for a period of many years; if you just dump them one day back into the wild, it will be very difficult for them to survive. Americans who have become dependent on unemployment checks and food stamps will likely soon abruptly find out that they must begin to fend for themselves without any help from the government. The result will be many Americans turning into wild animals and becoming so desperate that they will have to rob and burglarize their fellow neighbors who were smart enough to prepare, or else they will risk starving to death.
As a result of QE2, the Federal Reserve is now buying 70% of U.S. treasuries, up from previously only buying 10% of treasury bonds. Foreign central banks are now buying just 30% of U.S. treasuries, compared to previously buying 50% of treasury bonds. The U.S. budget deficit in the month of February reached a record $222.5 billion or $2.67 trillion on an annualized basis. With the Federal Reserve now monetizing our debt in full swing, a complete and total loss of confidence in the U.S. dollar could be imminent.

Americans will take to the streets like the world has never seen before.
The biggest question NIA has today is, will the U.S. government resort to firing at its own citizens, if major riots take place in Washington, DC. On Thursday, police in Saudi Arabia shot and wounded three protesters. The price of oil rose by a few dollars per barrel as soon as this news hit the wire, which shows just how nervous the world's financial markets have become in recent weeks. The fact that the Dow Jones has declined significantly in recent days, in our opinion means that the odds of QE3 being launched as soon as QE2 is over, are now much higher than they were several weeks ago.

After all, with no QE3, the Federal Reserve will go from buying 70% of treasury bonds to being a seller of U.S. treasuries. NIA is 100% sure that foreign central banks aren't itching to jump back in to fill the hole. While in the past, the private sector may have picked up the slack, we believe individual investors will now be more reluctant to jump into government bonds, especially with bond king Bill Gross reducing the government bond holdings in his Pimco Total Return Fund down to zero. The bottom line is, no QE3 means interest rates will fly sky high and destroy the phony so-called "economic recovery".
From April to August of 2010, the last time the Federal Reserve allowed its balance sheet to shrink, the Dow Jones fell by over 1,000 points. If Bernanke doesn't soon begin to leak out the strong likelihood of QE3, we could see the stock market decline by 1,000 points or more, which will force Bernanke into launching QE3. If we see a major sell off in stocks, NIA doesn't necessarily think that precious metals prices will follow. In fact, we could see gold and silver rise along with the Dow Jones falling. NIA projects the Dow Jones to gold ratio to decline to 6.5 in 2011. This means even if the Dow Jones fell to below 11,000, we still believe gold is likely to rise to around $1,600 to $1,700 per ounce this year, with silver soaring to around $42 to $44 per ounce. NIA believes the worst decision any American can make is to sell their gold and silver and go long U.S. dollars, hoping to buy their precious metals back at a lower price in the future.

U.S. Dollar Collapse Could Occur at Any Time
China this morning reported 4.9% price inflation for the month of February, exceeding analyst expectations of 4.8%. With China now mimicking the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and taking steps to artificially manipulate their consumer price index (CPI) numbers as low as possible, it is likely that real price inflation in China is now closer to 10%. China was at least smart enough to raise interest rates last month by 25 basis points to 6.06%, while the Federal Reserve continues to leave interest rates near zero with there being absolutely no talk of the Federal Reserve ever raising interest rates again. China will be successful at containing inflation, as U.S. inflation spirals out of control and becomes the greatest economic crisis in American history.
China this week reported a $7.3 billion trade deficit for the month of February, its largest trade deficit in seven years, which surprised many global economists. NIA believes China's trade deficit is temporary and that China will quickly return to having a trade surplus. The Federal Reserve's QE2 along with China's destructive monetary policies, which artificially devalue the yuan, have led to a massive rise in China's raw material costs this year. NIA believes that in the upcoming months, Chinese manufacturers will raise the prices of their products that get exported to the U.S., to counteract rising commodity prices. With most products used by Americans today having been manufactured in China, this will mean Americans will soon see massive price inflation in just about all consumer goods they use. NIA projects that by the end of 2011, we will begin to see the U.S. CPI increase by 4.9% or higher on a year-over-year basis, with real U.S. price inflation rising north of 10%.
The mainstream media is proclaiming that China's trade deficit will silence calls for the Chinese to allow their currency to strengthen against the U.S. dollar. The fact is, China's government has for long been making the major mistake of printing too many yuan in order to artificially prop up the U.S. dollar. Their fear was, if the U.S. dollar was allowed to decline too rapidly, prices of Chinese goods would rise in terms of U.S. dollars and Americans would no longer afford to import them.
The truth is, if China allowed the yuan to strengthen, the Chinese would have enjoyed a much higher standard of living. Sure, prices would rise in dollars and Americans would import less, but the Chinese would have the ability to consume more of their own products. Now, as a result of China expanding its own money supply in order to keep the yuan pegged to the U.S. dollar, Americans will be forced to pay a much higher price for Chinese goods anyway. The same higher prices Americans were going to pay as a result of exchange rate appreciation, Americans will now pay as a result of inflation. For the Chinese, the exchange rate appreciation route would have been a much better route to take than the inflation route, because now the Chinese will also be forced to pay higher prices. In the very short-term, China might actually suffer more than the U.S. because they lack the social safety nets that have been implemented here in America.
The U.S. government has been successful at temporarily paying off Americans into not rioting in the streets like in Arab nations. It was just announced a few days ago that the number of Americans on food stamps in the month of December of 2010 was a record 44,082,324, up 13.1% from one year earlier and 1.1% from one month earlier. That is more than 14% of the total U.S. population! Combined with President Obama extending unemployment benefits up to 99 weeks, American citizens are too busy and distracted playing with their iPad 2s and gossiping on Twitter about Charlie Sheen, to have any time to protest in Washington, DC.
NIA believes the U.S. government's entitlement spending is currently having the unintended consequence of making Americans dependent on government. It is like when you take wild animals into captivity and you feed them, teach them to do tricks and take care of them for a period of many years; if you just dump them one day back into the wild, it will be very difficult for them to survive. Americans who have become dependent on unemployment checks and food stamps will likely soon abruptly find out that they must begin to fend for themselves without any help from the government. The result will be many Americans turning into wild animals and becoming so desperate that they will have to rob and burglarize their fellow neighbors who were smart enough to prepare, or else they will risk starving to death.
As a result of QE2, the Federal Reserve is now buying 70% of U.S. treasuries, up from previously only buying 10% of treasury bonds. Foreign central banks are now buying just 30% of U.S. treasuries, compared to previously buying 50% of treasury bonds. The U.S. budget deficit in the month of February reached a record $222.5 billion or $2.67 trillion on an annualized basis. With the Federal Reserve now monetizing our debt in full swing, a complete and total loss of confidence in the U.S. dollar could be imminent.

Disbelief
I came to a standstill this morning when I saw the devastation. Then I broke down and cried. The news was entirely devoted to the 8.9 monster earthquake that hit Japan early this morning. Nothing about Wisconsin, nothing about Charlie Sheen. We are slowly on our way to realizing that it's we, the people of earth, that really matter. Their well-being, their safety, their health. We constantly focus on the unecessary, the stupid, the frivolous, the Hollywood headlines that grab our attention. We keep forgetting that we are all connected, I believe now, more than ever. To the Japanese people, I am so beyond words regarding what just happened to you, your island, your home, I cannot find them. All I can do is continue praying for all of you. I will visit your beautiful country and your beautiful people one day, as I have been planning to do so for some time.

Check Your Watches
We humans are a complex and curious lot. We are vast in numbers and the silken threads of our genetic tapestry are woven together in a beautiful and vibrant mosaic. I believe all of us came from a single rootstock comprised of one genetic code but with a different sequence of numbers that would ultimately define our ethnicities. We are all from the same tree but with different branches. I believe this genetic code binds us together into one big family and the same lifeblood that courses through my veins courses through yours. The question is, will we ever be able to embrace this way of thinking?

And the sixties had nothing to do with meriting out justice in this case". If I remember correctly, the Black Panthers were deliberately standing in the way of voters wishing to cast their ballot(s). They were there for the purpose of intimidating people who wished to do so. I thought this was a crime. What was the verdict by Mr. Holder's Justice Department as a result of their investigation? If my memory serves me well, didn't the Black Panthers just get a slap on the wrist? Correct me please if I am in error. If so, this question begs to be asked, "if this had been a conservative group or quite possibly a group of Democrats standing in the way of voters, would the result have been the same"? Would it have made a difference if the group was white or not? Mr. Holder's answer to the question asked by the Congressman was tainted by emotion and not one of setting aside any personal feelings and just plain doing his job. And what about the Black Panthers? Are they or are they not on the Department of Homeland Security's Terror Watch List?
