The Time Is Here, The Time Is Now

The long-awaited, final temple miraculously appeared before the people. Majestic bronze columns stretched skyward and disappeared into the clouds. Magnificent semi-precious and precious stones...Jasper, sapphire, emerald, beryl, chalcedony, amethyst, tourmaline, sardonyx, and diamonds made up its walls. The tall temple doors were made of Sacred Oak from the Garden of long past. Its edifice was of the purest, choicest gold. Cherubim kept watch on either side of the marble entrance along with two tall stoic angelic beings. Each clothed in a tightly woven shimmery gold garment covering them from head to foot. In one hand they held a sword inscribed with many names. In the other, a staff with numerous eyes constantly turning this way and that. No person was permitted to look upon these beings, for if they did it was instant death. Watching from on high one could see that the masses of people below were so vast they spread out from one corner of the earth to the other. How many people this earth could hold! It was amazing to gaze upon this vast throng! The people looked like gum drops, they were made up of so many colors. Not a sound was heard from all the nations who were gathered together because they knew the reason they were here. "Humanities' time had finally come". The clock had finally struck "one." The Christians' long-awaited End of Days, the Jewish Final Redemption and their long, long, End of Exile was over. The New Era had begun--The Messianic Era. G-d was opening up His Judgment Book and each and every person's Life History was being reviewed. All wrongs, and all rights would be disclosed and settled. As we waited to be called forward, a soft lovely white mist issued forth from the temple doors and wound its way up and out and into the open air. It continued upward until it hovered just above the masses of people. Its fragrance was indescribable. Think of a garden filled with the most beautiful flowers on earth. The fragrance so overwhelming you never want to leave. The people breathed it all in, TOTAL EARTH -- North/South/East/West--ALL PEOPLES breathed as one. Drops of the finest dew covered the pines; stars glittered so brightly in the night sky they looked like twinkling diamonds; white doves covered every tree branch and looked like they were flocked with snow; the glow from campfires dotted the landscape like tiny little fireflies had perched for the night; a vast pure winding River of Life with every imaginable species of fish flowed ever so gently through the landscape quenching everyone's thirst and hunger; the sweetest morsels of bread were baked over hearths. And all the while the people waited patiently. There was no pushing, no shoving. There was no angry pointing of fingers as to why this person was ahead of that person. There was only joy at what lay ahead. No trepidation. At last the L-rd was here. At last everything was in place and settled. For the L-rd was finally seated on His earthly Throne. His Divine Presence (Shekhinah) had returned. The time for war, pestilence, famine, anger, revenge, depravity, greed, corruption, avarice, thievery, and all the other evils was over. "IT" had run its course. Now the Messianic Era was at hand. G-d's era of peace and harmony, the lion lying down with the lamb, mankind living alongside one another as brethren. For we finally knew what G-d had been trying to tell us all these thousands of years...that we are all one. That we are ALL brothers. We may look differently, we may act differently, we may come from different countries and speak different languages. But it's what's inside that makes us the same. Inside resides the soul. The soul is where our life events are recorded. What we do right what we do wrong; when we reach out to someone or decide to pull back; when we put someone else's needs ahead of ours. G-d has given each of us a yardstick (it's called FREE WILL) and it's up to us to measure up. How do we do this? So we can do or not do. I also think alot has to do with how we're brought up. What were our parent's values? Did they believe they were responsible for their actions? And if they did something wrong did they make it right? Did they give to charity? Were they compassionate toward those in need? And did they pass these values down to their children? For this very reason is that good works will pave the way for an Almighty G-d to return to this earth to make it His home. He does not want to dwell in some high and lofty place, peering through spyglasses watching the "goings on" down here. He desires this earthly realm to be his dwelling place. Here, among us, His creation. In order for this to be accomplished we must do our good works, our "Mitzvots" works of charity, kindness, good will, visiting a neighbor in the hospital, picking up groceries for a sick person, taking care of an elderly parent, you get the idea. Putting aside our "comfort" zone and embracing our "uncomfortable" zone. These efforts are to cleanse the earth of a insatiable scourge who has long entrenched itself and whom a rightful G-d has now called to accountability. For this is the era of Moshiach, The Messianic Era. It just takes one small step to get the ball rolling. Then, it will become a tidal wave. So all we need to do is just take that one small step to Bring it On!

And the Answer Is.......

To those of you who read this blog I have a question, "still in a fog?" "Are you caught betwixt, between, or has your brain finally come clean?" For we are in a new time zone, one of skulls and gnarled crossbones. A creeping sludge has overcome, our once entirely happy home. Now it strains against us all and smelleth like an old hag's shawl. Hold on fast! Don't flinch, don't gasp! No time to even look aghast! For we're in good company, just look around and you will see--It's Tom and Ben and James and Paul. Hey, it's called a Free For All! We're standing proud on shoulders tall. The Founders have called a new Town Hall. Determination with furrowed brows, jaws are locked, and beads of sweat roll onto chests, eyes are fixed like bayonets. Shoulder to shoulder and in lockstep, AMERICANS ALL, coming together, seeing that this administration's toll has left us no choice but rock and roll. The snakes that slither, who so viciously slight, we'll take to task, wrongdoings unmasked. Wrongs will be righted; the people requited; sweet sunshine re-lighted. This sacred, dear land whose blood runs deep, where Liberty and Freedom have never come cheap will rise once again from this foul stench-filled heap. Again thanks to those who stand strong and not weak.

Congress, Practicing Medicine Without a License

I thought you were required to have a medical license before you could legally practice medicine in this country. Okay Congress show us yours. I bet you can't produce one. Isn't it scary that we have a President who admits he hasn't even read his own Health Reform Bill and a Congress who says they don't even know what's in the very legislation they propose? And yet they are determined to pass this health scare sham on us no matter what. This is a clear case of an administration menstruating all over a population. This isn't about "health care" this is about absolute power. An absolute POWER GRAB by an authoritarian Congress. This is treachery folks, pure and simple. It still is puzzling to me how a man from out of nowhere, with an unclear background, who won't reveal his real birth certificate, college transcripts and other documentation, just "showed up" with a mantra of "HOPE AND CHANGE" managed to "zombeize" 52% of Americans who then lined up like good little robots, went out in droves and voted for him. The puppet appeared right on schedule while the gleeful puppet masters all cheered behind the scenes. Their scheme worked. The dirty deed was accomplished. Their man became President of the United States. Remember that Obama is just a "figure head." The real "behind the scene power players" are the ones you really want to worry about.
And remember this one, for this is the "biggie." No where in the Constitution does it say that we are entitled to health care. It is not a right it is not a privilege. If we decide we want some type of insurance to cover our medical costs than it should be left to the private sector and NOT the federal government. But more importantly we need solutions to our health care problems not a "one size fits all" instantaneous fix. This slam dunk approach will, in the end, only make a bad situation worse. Could Congress at least consider some of these solutions? I don't hear any talk from them at all about this except from us angy "mobsters"....

Two Halves Make a Soul

I am not a saint. I have made alot of mistakes in my life. But I do know some things. There are two parts to a whole. There are two halves to a soul. And they talk to one another. Most of the time we don't come in contact with either one. But then there are those rare moments when we do. And if you take your own painful experiences seriously and vow to change some bad habits, they can help mend the damage done to this innermost part of your being. These are some examples that I'd like you to consider: Maybe you willfully neglected the needs of an elderly neighbor. Remember the time you were too busy to tend to a sick parent? How about when you spoke out in anger because your spouse ticked you off and you said some pretty mean things but couldn't stop your mouth from running over and the obscenities just kept coming. You're in the supermarket and your baby is crying, your three year old toddler is tugging at your sleeve and you're trying to read your grocery list. Wouldn't a good shake, a loud "shut up" or maybe a slap solve your uncomfortable situation? Or, could you just stop what you are doing, put down your grocery list, comfort your baby, and tenderly pick up your three year old and take the time to find out what is bothering the little one? How about when you kicked a helpless animal because you just found out you were laid off from your job? Or you opened your Visa or Mastercard and realized you were stupid enough to rack up enough credit card charges to rival the national debt and angrily backed your car through the garage door? Doesn't all of this signal something to you? These experiences are either going to (1) lay a guilt trip on your soul and you're going to once and for all get your act together or (2) bypass your soul altogether. You will either do something to change your behaviour while here on this earth or G-d will see to it that He changes your behaviour after you leave this earth. I personally believe that G-d has special schools all lined up for each one of us so what we don't get "right" down here we will definitely get "right" up there. So you see it's really very simple. If you decide you just don't care to change, you just don't have the time, or you're not interested, that's okay, because once you leave here you won't have any more excuses. Because they're gone. Kaput! Now it's G-d's turn. And it will be His Finishing School you will be required to attend. No dillydallying, no excuses, no tardiness, no cheating. So maybe it would be a good idea to "rethink" changing at least some of your selfish and bad habits while here. Not only will it save you some grief after you depart this earthly realm, but it just might save a grateful G-d from having to fill out alot of unnecessary paperwork.

The Wooden Bowl

A frail old man went to live with his son, daughter-in-law, and four-year-old grandson. The old man's hands trembled, his eyesight was blurred, and his step faltered. The family ate together at the table. But the elderly grandfather's shaky hands and failing sight made eating difficult. Peas rolled off his spoon onto the floor. When he grasped the glass, milk spilled on the tablecloth. The son and daughter-in-law became irritated with the mess. 'We must do something about father,' said the son. 'I've had enough of his spilled milk, noisy eating, and food on the floor.' So the husband and wife set a small table in the corner. There, Grandfather ate alone while the rest of the family enjoyed dinner. Since Grandfather had broken a dish or two, his food was served in a wooden bowl. When the family glanced in Grandfather's direction, sometimes he had a tear in his eye as he sat alone. Still, the only words the couple had for him were sharp admonitions when he dropped a fork or spilled food. The four-year-old watched it all in silence. One evening before supper, the father noticed his son playing with wood scraps on the floor. He asked the child sweetly, 'What are you making?' Just as sweetly, the boy responded, 'Oh, I am making a little bowl for you and Mama to eat your food in when I grow up.'The four-year-old smiled and went back to work. The words so struck the parents so that they were speechless. Then tears started to stream down their cheeks.. Though no word was spoken, both knew what must be done. That evening the husband took Grandfather's hand and gently led him back to the family table. For the remainder of his days he ate every meal with the family. And for some reason, neither husband nor wife seemed to care any longer when a fork was dropped, milk spilled, or the tablecloth soiled. On a positive note, I've learned that, no matter what happens, how bad it seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow. I've learned that you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles four things: a rainy day, the elderly, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights. I've learned that making a 'living' is not the same thing as making a 'life..' I've learned that life sometimes gives you a second chance. I've learned that you shouldn't go through life with a catcher's mitt on both hands.You need to be able to throw something back sometimes. I've learned that if you pursue happiness, it will elude you But, if you focus on your family, your friends, the needs of others, your work and doing the very best you can, happiness will find you I've learned that whenever I decide something with an open heart, I usually make the right decision. I've learned that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one. I've learned that every day, you should reach out and touch someone. People love that human touch -- holding hands, a warm hug, or just a friendly pat on the back. I've learned that I still have a lot to learn.

These are the Times.....

Americans..Does it matter what our color is? NO. Does it matter where we came from? NO. We come in all shapes and sizes, from all walks of life, from all over the world. Isn't it interesting that many folks COME HERE for their health care? That's because we have access to affordable health care, procedures and good Doctors. It's been widely reported that we have folks that purportedly do not have any health care (according to Congress). Yet they can walk into any Emergency Room and WE THE TAXPAYERS FUND THEIR CARE even NON-CITIZENS and WE THE TAXPAYERS FUND THEIR CARE. But it doesn't seem to matter to Congress that under OBAMASCARE this will drastically change. For ALL Americans. Someone who has a life-threatening disease, who needs a life-saving medical procedure, a life-saving drug, won't be getting it anymore or will be put on a waiting list. Seniors will be reduced to getting "counseling" for end of life matters. That our health care will be rationed, that those of us who meet some government profile, some "government one size fits all" mentality will be imposed on us. No matter how many voices cry out, no matter how many calls we make to Congress, no matter how many emails we send. THEY AREN'T LISTENING. I don't remember any M.D.'s attached to the end of Reid, Pelozi, Kennedy, Rangel, Schumer, Dodd. So how come they are practicing medicine without a license? Isn't that against the law? And, nowhere in the United States Constitution does it guarantee health care for anyone. If you want health care for you and/or your family, you shop around and find a policy you can afford and buy it, from the private sector. Health care is not a PRIVILEGE. Health care is not a RIGHT. This is just another power grab by a bunch of thugs. We might as well be living back in the days of King George. We've been sold a bill of goods. As a matter of fact we've been taken for a very long ride for a very long time. We're finally waking up. This is only the beginning.

Land of the Bled, Home of the Frail and the Badly Bruised

Walking into a department store yesterday, I was preceded by an elderly couple. They walked slowly by, arm in arm, as I reached for a shopping cart. I was mindful, as I watched them however, of the unfolding latest piece of legislative garbage being debated in the Thralls of Congress, the so-called "Health Care Bill". I think a better name is STEALTH CARE BILL. And how many people this socialist piece of filth would touch. How many lives it would ruin. How many American businesses, employees, Doctors, medical school students, insurance companies, drug companies, Senior Citizens, private citizens, military vets, military families, etc., it would harm. And a Congress unwilling to listen to the voices of millions of Americans more and more fearful, raising an alarm, as they continue to hear more and more about what was is contained in this bill. Instead, Congress stands in lock-step with a Socialist Tyrant of a President, racing against a non-existent clock, all to shove another piece of legislative dribble down our throats. And the piece de resistance...DRUM ROLL PLEEEEZE....Congress has voted to "OPT OUT OF THIS LEGISLATION". IT WON'T EVEN AFFECT THEM. The more I thought about this the angrier I got. End of Life Counseling for Seniors, Rationing of Health Care? Barack, these folks are the ones who kept this country together. These are the Americans who raised the families, fought the wars, grew the victory gardens, went without, did the dirty work, just so you could be elected President of the United States and you turn around and do this to them? Oh, I get it. You just don't give a damn. You weren't around anyway. Oh, I remember, your background is taking FROM the people, not giving TO the people. And abortion-is this atrocity included? Are the American people going to be paying for abortions in this bill whether or not they believe in abortions? And what other surprises are awaiting us as the worm turns? To all you morons who voted for this guy I have a phrase I'd like you to memorize. In fact before you memorize it, a little advice. Get an education. Not public education, G-d forbid. I'd recommend home schooling. Where they teach things like Reading, Writing, Arithmetic, Economics, AMERICAN History. And while I'm at it, pick up a copy of The Constitution of the United States of America and READ IT along with The Declaration of Independence. These are the cornerstones of Our Republic. And next time around: "IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHO TO VOTE FOR, FOR THE SAKE OF THE REST OF US, AT LEAST KNOW WHAT THEY STAND FOR".
