This Administration Ain't Got No Soul

rapid transformation--this is what's happening.  from the old to the new.  i never thought i would see this happen, so fast, in my lifetime.   are we going from bad to worse?  from good to bad?  every day i'm reading articles showing what desperate straits we're in.  how many people, poor, middle-class, even the rich are getting hammered by ideologues who have no compassion for people.  they use us like their very own credit card except this one has no spending limit.  They do care alot about money and power though.  and a maniacal thirst for more and more and more.  just how much more can they extract from us?  as i see this country being disseminated, power houses like China are ramping up.  American jobs continue to move overseas and with them the security, happiness and well-being of American citizens.  our foundation is crumbling.  no one can foresee, foretell, just how we're going to come out of all of this.  but i'm wary.  i don't have a crystal ball yet when one can clearly see the damage being done by a clueless Congress, and administrations that have grabbed the reins of a chugging giant and weakened her ability to function over the years, i shudder.  by weakening i'll give examples:  fair trade (fair for whom?  it seems like everyday we're always giving something away but not demanding anything in return); emboldening and encouraging the U.N. to take over more and more of our lives by signing into law bills that take away our rights as parents and individuals; more taxes to supply government with an endless supply of our money to blow; we can't drill here to offset our high fuel costs yet Cuba and China can.  i have to commend the Congressional Black Caucus for trying in vain to get the President to acknowledge that the black community is going down the toilet because of no jobs, no jobs, no jobs.  and yet, the Black Congressional Caucus is but one of a gazillion special interest groups.  we don't need no more special interest groups.  that's one of the things dividing us, as a nation, as a people.  we need one special interest group and that would be US..you and me.  this situation we're in kinda reminds me of the movie, Edge of Darkness with Mel Gibson.  the scene that poignantly portrays what i am trying to share here is the one where he's lying in a hospital bed, his face all grayish, (this would be the U.S.) from radiation poisoning.  he's done his job.  he's served his community.  he's paid his taxes.  he's faced his challenges.  he fought for good and routed evil.  and we see that he was even used by his own.  yet, what did it get him?  he can't enjoy his pension after all his sacrifice and hard work.  he's lost his house, his job.  hell, he can't even enjoy his only daughter, as the bad guys blew her to kingdom come as she was walking out his front door.  she, BTW, was taken out because she blew the whistle on the company she worked for because they be doin somethin illegal.   so what did all this sacrifice get him?  all i can see is a bed in a hospital.  is this where we are now?  is this where we're headed?  i'm talking to each of you.  we need to get our acts together and come together.  we, collectively, need to get a grip on our situation because none of us is gonna come out of this alive, if we don't.  our way of life, our jobs, our economy, is up for grabs.  what can we do?  we need to start demanding recalls, we need to start showing up on the Capital steps as one unit.  We better get it through our heads that we live here.  would you rather live somplace else?  well, then who the heck is stoppin ya?  but i prefer to live here because i don't see any other place to go where we still enjoy the freedoms we do here.  Black, White, Asian, Hindu, Muslin, Buddhist, whatever. we all be in the same boat because we all be here, in the good ole U.S. of A.    and we is all gonna get knocked down and if'n we don't stand up soon, it'll be permanent.  one of my heroes was (and still is) Martin Luther King.  i personally believe he was taken out because he had so much persuasion over Americans by his peaceful means of trying to change things, for the better, that he was an out and out threat.  we need to be emulating him.  so where are our preachers?  so where are our teachers?  so where the hell are our leaders?  i am looking for one good man or woman who knows what's goin on and can grab the reins and bring this hostile takeover to a grinding halt.  it sure ain't Obama as he and his comrades be the ones doin all the destruction.  i'm lookin for one good man or woman who can bind us all together, not continue to split us up.  for we don't have much time left if we want to save what's left of a great nation.  this nation was founded under God, with liberty and justice for ALL OF US. we need to grab hold of this undeniable truth and realize that if we don't start protectin these precepts they will be just hollow words...you know, the kind the President spews out.
