Congress Dithers While Livestock Wither

the answer to our economic mess -- more taxes

congress has drained our bank account dry and now wants even more from us.

SHAMEFUL

they're like drug addicts on steroids...they want us to believe that solving their spending habit is simple....just roll up our sleeve while they stick that filthy needle into our veins, again, and drain us dry.

where have all the manufacturing jobs gone?  - overseas
who creates jobs?  - the wealthiest of us

so what will happen if Congress increases our taxes?  will we have more disposable income?  will the entrepreneurs, the people with vision, the resources, be able to start up small business, thus creating jobs?

this country now has a huge unemployment problem but i don't see anyone providing any incentives for job creation.  why is this?

and i see another QE III comin up just so the fed can print more worthless money, forestalling the inevitable (a total and complete economic meltdown) by refusing to face our huge debt.

COWARDS

today gas is at $4.00/gallon and Americans are spending more on groceries.

this is our sorry state - an economy runnin on empty, no jobs, no homes, no future.

now we have this....

a massive heat wave and severe drought (in some parts of the country) has struck and temperatures  are breaking records.  famers/ranchers (these are just some of this nation's producers) are having to sell off entire herds of cattle because there is no grass, no hay and no water to sustain them.  in many instances the heat is so oppressive that animals are dying in the fields; poultry producers are having to resort to creative measures just to keep their chickens and turkeys alive.  couple this with high fuel prices; high commodities (grain prices) and fertilizer over $500/Ton.

we think food prices are high now, just wait.

Last year this country was the only one in the world with a record crop of wheat to feed the world.  this year, the cotton is drying up along with soybeans and corn because of the heat and drought.  in some instances the crops are way behind or could not even be planted because of too much rain.

and yet we have imbeciles in charge of our destinies in Washington where two parties and a President can't even get their heads together to talk intelligently.

this is almost the perfect storm coming together.

but is anyone in Congress taking notice?

As an American consumer start educating yourselves and your children as to all the steps involved and the thousands of dollars it takes, along with the commitment, dedication, hard work and long hours to get that juicy steak to your dinner plate.  this goes for a can of peas, that fried chicken at your corner restaurant, the sweater you just bought, a gallon of milk or a gallon of gas.  these things don't just materialize out of thin air.  there is a process in which people produce the product.

but if the gov keeps steppin on people, treating them like chattel, stealing what's left of their paychecks, pretty soon we'll be the ones trying to figure out how to milk a cow, butcher a steer or grow a garden.  and all because because the real producers were forced out of business.

some person, or many, work together to make our products and the food we eat.  they work long hours, give up creature comforts just so you and i can eat, clothe ourselves and get around.
and, now would be a good time to ponder this.....

what government can't do to us, Mother Nature can.

and she's in high gear, right now.
