Making Sense Out of "Non" Sense

The more I view the world we live in, the more I see things continue to spiral out of control--things I just plain have no control over. Our World Leaders seem to be as much in the dark as the rest of us and like a needle stuck in the groove of a bad record, unable and obviously impotent to stop what's happening. Whether it be a rogue nation bent on building nuclear power plants, ultimately to use against their neighbor, or a dictator tightening the noose on the people under his watch. So, I've come to the conclusion that no matter what bad stuff happens, what really matters most is what mattered most all along--G-d, home, family, children, grandchildren, friends. And even though I can't possibly change all the bad stuff I see going on around me, I can do little things that will make a difference in a positive way. G-d hasn't left the planet because of what's happening, He is very much with us and always will be. In the meantime He still wants us to be kind to one another, give of ourselves, and be grateful for what we do have, not for what we don't have. In humbling ourselves before Him and doing acts of kindness and charity, we ultimately will be the ones who end up changing the world, albeit little by little. Not our "World Leaders" who don't have a clue. We can make a difference, one person at a time, doing one act of kindness and/or charity. So far there's no law that says we can't start right now. And this time it will be the "little guy" that gets the prize for turning things around. Not the big guys with the swelled heads and gigantic egos.
