If I Only Had a Brain

The chemical weapons attack in Syria is another glaring example of how far people will go in order to gain their ends.  But what are their ends?  And, we're still in the dark as to who exactly was responsible for this incredibly brutal and wicked attack.  The fact that Syria used chemical weapons before and no one did anything at that time is noteworthy.  Why is this so different now?  Why does Obama keep pushing for some type of involvement?  Because he was caught red-faced by asserting that a red line had been drawn in the sand?  You don't get involved militarily to save face.  Could something else being driving this?   And where is the rest of the world on this issue?  In addition, this country's defense budget has been slashed and American troops are tired.  Obama's bewildering behaviour is putting the blinders on the average American face but there has to be more going on behind the scenes.  Isn't there always?  I remember the movie, The Wizard of Oz and the scarecrow who passionately wished he had a brain.  In the end, his wish was granted.  Now, how about the President of the United States?
