Bring in the Clowns

How many clowns do you have to have to meet the definition of a circus? Just exactly who do you believe, anymore? In my increasingly old and feeble mind, all credibility has been lost with government and I don't care what agency you are talking about. Now we have Donald Trump, whom none of us really know anything about, entering the political scene, and causing scenes. We don't know anymore about him other than he's made a few economic blunders and is still listed as a billionaire. (maybe i shoulda invested in real estate) But whom is stroking whom? Could this be another con in the form of one who appears to be speaking to the concerns of the middle class but underneath is just another in a long list of political operatives, entering the scene, at just the right time, to sway people this way or that? And all because of a more sinister motive? By sinister I mean something that is hidden from view, something that smells, something someone doesn't want the average American to know about? My trust-o-meter is on empty. The list is endless of the Presidents who have done........what? How have they contributed to improving this country? Give me a worthy example. Let's get real. This country has had a figurehead for a long time. And the real entites running the show are the corporate elites and special interest groups. Will we ever get back to this country's real roots of free enterprise and entrepreneurship? At this point in time I have to say no as I believe it is going to take a miracle to clean up the mess we've created.
