i've lost all respect for this country.
why don't we just write the word "deposit" in our checking account and enter any amount we want. then we'll have an unlimited supply of money at our disposal. can you or i do that? of course not. but then we're not the United States Congress. compromise, compromise, compromise. i am sick of hearing those words especially when it's compromising away my ability to freely function. what ever happened to backbone and standing up to do the right thing?
if the American people are perceiving their own government as cowardly, ineffective, and incapable of reining in spending, then i'd say the rest of the world is too.
when families screw up (overspend) they wind up paying big. their FECAL scores tank, they can't get credit and their spending is restricted by a strict budget.
but no, not a smug Congress. they are above all of us..inflicting pain and suffering on the American people all the while enjoying a good laugh. they know no remorse, no humility, no shame.
Congress is slowly aborting our way of life.
The American citizen and capitalism are the New Endangered Species.
i hope we remember all this come 2012. for that is the last hope we have. if we blow it then, you can kiss your country bye-bye.
