Through the Wormhole

Question: Is there more evil in the world today or are we just becoming more aware of it? Question: Are we humans rising to a new level of intolerance? For example,
are we still willing to put up with politicians and hollywoodites having extramarital affairs? Or are we making our voices heard? Wealthy financial institutions playing hard and fast with our money? Corporate and government corruption on a grandiose scale? Is our thinking metamorphising, changing, ever so slowly, in both our perspective and our reactions? Is it not unprecedented the global turmoil we are witnessing today? Would you agree that evil is being forced up and out into the open, into the light of day, for all of us to see? It can't hide anymore. Is this an accident that all this turbulence is happening all at once and seemingly so fast? Were these events foretold a long time ago? Did someone or some thing have a hand in determining the date and time? I don't believe any one person or religion has a finite answer to this. I only know what I personally believe. May I expound on this? I do believe that Moshiach (the Jewish Messiah) is here, now, among us. He cannot be seen but his presence is and has been felt. For example: the recognition of and ingathering of the lost tribes of Israel and other Jews back to their homeland, Israel. The outpouring and outreach of the Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, who has now passed, and what he did to help bring the Jewish Nation back to its Torah roots. The charity, spiritual discourses, and dialogue he engaged in with not only the Jewish people but also the Gentiles. According to the Ancients, when the earth becomes very troubled, when there are wars followed by wars, upheaval, an increase in natural disasters, with no end in sight, people turning on each other, massive corruption, insidious new diseases that keep rearing their ugly heads, greed, thievery, deception on a grand scale, despicable acts of cruelty not only perpetrated by man upon man but on other living things, as well. Turning our backs on a just and righteous Creator, when evil is trumpeted as "good" and "good" is slammed as being evil, when the norm becomes abnormal....this is when the Holy Redeemer of Israel will appear and the third Sanctuary in Jerusalem will be built. The Final Redemption it is called and which I believe we are in, right now. Think about Israel for a moment. I am constantly amazed at how this tiny nation, whose people are the select of G-d and who were created to be "a light unto all the nations" is now being attacked from all sides. The United States, once her staunchest ally, is now becoming one of her enemies as our misguided government panders to a group who know no moral boundaries. No one speaks up for her when rockets are hurled into villages, killing men, women and children. She is the one to blame. In my estimation, the powers that be are becoming more emboldened in their mission to destroy this small country. Basically I believe there is a global outpouring of evil trying to trump good. There are many who would disagree with this and that's fine. But I believe I just spoke the truth. You can argue all you want with the Truth but in the end, the Truth will always be just that..the Truth. This is one of the universes' laws that cannot be change in spite of all who want to try. At this very moment we, as a human species, are in spiritual transformation. This transformation is slowly taking place. Many cannot see this. I do. We feel ourselves lurching, stumbling and sometimes, like a lovely silken spider thread that softly brushes against our cheek, and we push it away, we are trying to find something firm to anchor ourselves to. In this respect, we are like that silken thread, we know that something is happening, something is out there, but we are having a hard time defining what it is let alone locating it. In the midst of all the global travail taking place, we are journeying toward the Light. What is this Light? It is the final eradication of all evil as we know it. It is no more killing each other. No more immorality. No more profit motive. No more murdering unborn babes. No more suing for the sake of suing. No more governments inhumanely subjugating their citizens. It is going to be the real hope and change we all long for. It is going to be all of us working together toward one common goal and that is revering, worshipping and reconnecting with the Divine. A new relationship is forming, a whole new way of thinking and a new way of living is coming, for all mankind. But first we must make it through the wormhole. To help us, we must learn to listen to and heed that small inner voice, that part of us that is connected to the soul, for guidance. It is our conscience. You know, the little voice that tells you that tucking that piece of underwear into your handbag, while you are in your favorite department store is wrong. It is called stealing. Or that nagging urge to spend a furtive afternoon with your neighbor's wife (or husband) that just won't let you alone. We have choices and choices have repercussions. We need to stop blaming others and start taking responsibility for our own actions. We also need to be teaching our children these absolutes and not the schools. No other creature on this planet has what we humans have...free choice. That's what got us in trouble in the first place yet the Universal Creator endowed us with this ability as He is a balanced entity. To have Good you must have Evil. To know what happiness is you must endure sadness. To be right you must first be wrong. We must not give up hope but embrace it now more than ever. If the President was ever right about anything, it was his "Hope and Change" mantra. Not his vision of hope and change but G'd's vision is where the real Hope and Change will actually take place. It helps to find a quiet time, a quiet spot, to just thank G-d for what you do have. We need to reconnect. We need to slip into that glittery, silvery spacesuit for just the right fit for the ride of our lives is just ahead....look, can you see it? The wormhole is beckoning us, propelling us onward and forward.
